I knew I heard something in the launch trailer.

 

None of these videos are mine.

 

 

 

The lspd cruisers and sheriff cruisers are the same from last gen and the ambulance, fire truck, sheriff grange and some of the other vehicles have new sirens.

I'm looking forward to the 1st person view for sure.  Will wait for the PC release though, as I've had my fill with GTAV/O with my PS3.  Looking forward to all the mods that will take GTAV father and LCPDFR/LSPDFR mod will be the cherry on top!

I called it, lol. With some of the new sirens, it would be nice if they used tones that didn't sound like it was 30 years ago.

The fire/EMS ones sounds like a slowed version of the SA siren.

Damn, I have the Xbox 360 version.  Maybe there is going to be an update?
Why do they all share the same Phaser/Hyperyelp tone? Rockstar is getting away with being cheap. It's even the same tone from GTA IV.

Does anyone know if the new version online has the annoying never ending sirens?

 

They also gave the buffalo a new paintjob from what I can see, however the Interceptor still has the livery with the LSPD's POLICE font. (Credits to SimsDaniel916 from the GTA forums)

I wonder what potential this plays in the modding universe. Like we could finally have seperate sirens for seperate vehicles. A Fed Q for the firetruck and a different one for the rest. Can't wait for PC version.

It seems strange that they didn't make the sheriff vehicles all have the same siren. Maybe this was done so you could tell what police vehicle was nearby you without looking? (assuming the FIB SUV has the same siren)

SO i think this meas, if all the sirens are in differnt slots (or folders) we can change them all and to have a fire sirens while still having a police siren? That would be awesome!

This is really a big step in GTA and it is really next gen! With new siren slots, everything will be nice! Also when PC version comes and possible modding, it will really look bad ass especially when LSPDFR comes too! maybe...

The Sheriff SUV, FIB, and Firetruck sirens sound like older PA300s.  Good thing I love the older PA300s. :D

I wish they have a new feature in GTA V PC, like being a police! I can't wait for PC!!!

I also love how the civilians stop and give space to you when your siren is on! It would be good to be in a FIB Buffalo in First person view, like a real undercover!!

I like the fact that we will be able to have separate sirens for police vehicles, ambulances, and fire trucks.

Just realized something that was bothering me: no steady burns! Dealing so much the LA Mod for EM4, it's damn noticeable now. Also the blue grill lights on the Fire Engine.

Do patrols still have the LCPD background for police computers?)
