LML Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to frequently asked questions about LML.
As of December 24, the initial public release of LML is available here: https://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/25437-lennys-mod-loader/

How can I access Lenny's Mod Loader?

We are currently offering early access to updates as a thank you to our Patreon supporters on the "Community Insider" tier. Versions of LML will be made publicly available after testing by Insiders.

When will Lenny's Mod Loader be publicly accessible?

LML is currently publicly available!

What happens to my early access after the public release?

You will still be the first to receive updates to LML before they are made available to the public and play an important role in development by giving feedback and suggestions.

What mods are currently supported?

Generally speaking, any mod that replaces files or adds files into the game can work with LML. All it usually takes to make an existing mod work is quickly creating an install.xml file and then load it. You can even load in RPFs if you already have one - no need to modify the dlclist anymore. A lot of simpler mods, such as vehicles, work automatically and can be installed with just one click using our OneClickService. Even very complex mods can be installed with a few lines of XML, such as Coastal Callouts.

In the future, we aim to make more and more mods work automatically with LML as well as hope that mod authors will adapt and include install.xmls in their mods.
