[API][WIP/REL] Callouts+ - Additional LCPDFR API Callouts

I have a callout request if it's not already implemented, can you add gang wars? Like huge crowds of bikers fighting for example? Say.. Lost and Damned peds and Angels of death peds having a huge gun fight for a prime example?

 

Or more callouts involved with the biker gangs mentioned above?

Michael, I thought about something like you described but my main concern was: what a player can do about such mayhem? I'd love to read a suggestion of a complete callout including a patrolman's role.

Well you can call in backup, and take cover and hope you don't get shot. :P

Hi Dear Sir LukeD,

 

Would be of kind assistance if you would help me as i have just downloaded your Callouts+ 2 days ago and honestly its a really good mod/API (Don't really know the term for it). 

 

Anyway i am having problems such as i get fewer callouts instead and so far the callouts i got from Callouts+ is a broke down car. And also when i request for the removal team they will be on the opposite block of the building and will just stay there, as so the broke down car can't be removed. So i requested a tow truck and the tow truck came and he took the car, but suddenly the driver of the tow truck disappear and the truck is left there causing more massive traffic jam.

 

Recently, after doing a car broke down callout again, i received an error saying lcpdfr.loader error, and also the plugin has crashed.

I am using the latest version of lcpdfr (the hotfix 1).

 

Attach here is my log files.

Hello everyone! 

I'm having some issues with the callout Officer Down. 

When i get it and accept  it i do what i have to do, go to the officer press E and then he give me the information of the suspect car etc

I go to the blip found the car, pursuit in progress chase him and unfortunately I have to kill him. Them the problem show up, I press ALT+E to let know the suspect is down. 

Job done! 

But no, I drive away as far as i can but the blip just don't go away and i don't receive any other callout from Callout+ and LCPDFR callouts as well. 

can somebody help me?

Update Released!

 

The latest version, 0.7, is now available for download! It is built to run on LCPDFR 1.0d_2 (that is the first hotfix patch for 1.0d)

 

Changes

 

• IMPORTANT: Ambulance keybind was changed to LControl + M (the same as the LCPDFR ambulance). This is because I now check for a pre-existing ambulance first. by doing this, we can take control of the LCPDFR ambulance rather than spawn a new one. If you reset the keybind to anything else it will still perform this check, but will not find an ambulance (because lcpdfr spawning was not called)

• Removal Team, and Ambulance now check for a unit already available (and if not, continues with spawning one in)

• Paramedic will now treat multiple victims in the area (this looks for all loaded peds, so he may end up running around the corner to someone)

• Improved AI with dispatch units so they arrive a little better, increased interval between each check to see if they are stuck.

• Huge overhaul of the way the dispatch units operate internally, this allows for better interaction and makes things work better internally too.

• NEW: Added questioning feature, when in a traffic stop, detain the driver in the backseat of your car and press Q (configurable) to initiate.

• NEW: Added new callouts, "location event". Now you can respond to a store thief with a gun or drug enraged ped with a knife at various interior locations around liberty city.

Stupid question from stupid me: is _2 hot fix ​necessary? 

 

More than likely, it was built on the API from _2 so using a previous version may cause problems (I can't say I've tried running it on an outdated version)

I was getting a little issue in the config..

 

There are some functions that I want to disable because they clutter my keybindings even more and I don't use them anyway. Setting their values to blank, 'None', or the first blank and the second 'None' makes the mod malfunction and not work when I start LCPDFR. Is it case sensitive? Should I put in 'none' or 'NONE' instead?

Setting them both to "None" should disable the feature (by disable it I mean it can never be activated and therefore will never call)

 

Heres my example:

VehicleHazards=None
VehicleHazardsModifier=None

Be sure you haven't accidentally changed something else.

Hopefully this works fine with the delay that happens when you call an ambulance in LCPDFR?

I designed it so my call happens after the LCPDFR one, I spent quite a while measuring that delay and increasing my own to suit it properly.

Unfortunately that is tuned to my PC's performance, the tick rate of the plugin may be slower or faster (by a fractional amount) on your own but hopefully the delay is enough.

 

Oh and even if it doesn't find an ambulance, it will go ahead and spawn it's own rather than crash. (which is why it's ok to reset the keybind to something else)

The delay before the call will still occur though, so don't panic if you call for an ambulance and nothing happens for like 10 seconds.

Is it because of Callouts+? I can't really make out because my LCPDFR was running fine up until 5 minutes ago. This happened to me first when I installed Callouts+. Along with the continuous error blings and "LCPDFR has encountered an error..." notice, the subtitle "Already found an ambulance in game, using" was being displayed. Any ideas?

Give me 5 mins to rebuild it and I'll re-upload. Thanks for reporting this.

No sweat man. Take your time. Just an FYI, this is a reproducible bug and happens a minute or two after going on duty (probably when Callouts+ first tries to spawn an event)?

It happens automatically or it happens when you call for an ambulance? you've confused me there. Patch uploaded BTW
