LukeD quick question....... When the suspicious person callouts happen, the person is always standing in the street until I go in the yellow circle in the building then he starts stabbing or shooting peds walking by. My question... is this supposed to happen like this or the suspect supposed to be inside of the building when pull up? Also you must have been reading my mind, because right before you did this last update...I downloaded the rapid towing textures and uniform for the driver only to find out the tow truck driver was the mechanic with the rapid tow truck mod, but you used the Garbage man.  Then you released this mod the very next day with changed it so it used the mechanic instead! Now I can use the uniform. That was great timing. Great minds think alike I guess. lol

They get spawned in the street but then are meant to be teleported inside, this doesn't always work with all buildings for some reason, something I may have no control over but will take a look at it.

Yeah I used the garbage guy temporarily because he had a high vis jacket on, and because I couldn't find the mechanic at first lol.

Hey LukeD. Nice work again! :yes: The first patch where the officer down call works fine! :thumbsup: But i've got an issue with the paramedic spawn. When i press CTRL+M, hundred of ambulances are spawn in the area.

I don't know why but every callouts crash. I try other scripts similar to yours but they all crash :/

How do I increase the frequency of the callouts? I edited the LCPDFR minimum callout spawn time from 60 seconds to 30, and I am still waiting 5-7 plus minutes for a call to dispatch.

 

I think the script is great, but I find myself waiting a long time for  a new call. Is there anything I can do to speed this up? I am driving around moving around the map in hopes of my changing location to generate a call quicker but that is not happening.

That should never happen at all. Perhaps a conflict between mods. I'll take a look but I'm certain that the plugin shouldn't be able to spawn that many ambulances.

This is explained in the LCPDFR User Documentation that is provided with the download of LCPDFR. Try reading it, there is a lot of useful information in there to help you.

Okay hopefully the multiplier is what I missed and changing that higher will solve things for me.

 

Here is direct from the manual:

 

Enabled True                    Whether or not you will be offered callout dispatches.
 
MaximumSecondsBeforeNewCallout 600               This is the maximum amount of time (in seconds) that can pass before a new callout is created.
 
MinimumSecondsBeforeNewCallout 60                  This is the minimum amount of time (in seconds) that can pass before a new callout is created.
 
Multiplier 250                  The higher this value is set, the more likely it is that a callout will be created.

You only have to mess around with these two.

Currently, it's set for a callout to happen anywhere between 60s - 600s (1min - 10 mins).  Lower "MaximumSecondsBeforeNewCallout" to whatever you like (but not lower than the minimum).

It's even possible to put the max-min to 2-1, giving you a new callout every second! Super realism! lol

Just had an EPIC manhunt when I received a 'stolen vehicle with a tracker' call. I was too late to find him so I spent like 20 minutes frantically driving across the city. Finally I got fed up, headed to the FIA, and got the Annihilator. Had to blow up the car to stop it though, hope it's insured.

Understood thanks. I did change the minimum to 30 seconds so maybe that my problem right there... I will change it back to 60 seconds, and Max to say 250 or so. That should help right?

 

Anytime.

Your problem wasn't that min. was 30s, it was that max. was left at 600s.

Think of it as a range of time (which it is). The min. & max. determine the extremes of the range.

 

For ex: If you set them to 30s & 120s (2mins) respectively. Then a callout will come anytime between 30s & 2mins; from the last callout.

It's as simple as that :)

I'm having issues with EMS showing up, it will be delayed heavily (the message of them even being dispatched), and often casues a crash after a few minutes.

 

Tow truck guy works good - but gets stuck on the door when he exits the truck - just requires a gentle push. ;)

 

For the police removal I'm getting a constant binging sound, and the ~'s saying line 150 removal (object) over and over.  Doesn't crash me, but I have to reloadscripts.  Reference problems to the object I wanted removed?

 

Questioning a suspect in vehicle thats been detained (Order'd to stepout using F10 LCPDFR, and detained in Vehicle using options.).  Says I need someone from a pullover.  Another Reference problem?

 

If you need me to give ya' anything more - I can.  The callouts are working well besides the street race being iffy sometimes, and the Officer Down (which is one I like)...

 

Either way enjoying the script.

I can't get the vehicle information to show when I pull someone over. How do I enable that? Like in SteveTrackBoyz videos.

 

I think what you want is to go into the "CalloutsPlus.ini" file, Go to [MAIN] and set this: AutoVehicleCheck=True .. This means that whenever you issue a traffic stop it will show the vehicle flags, color and so on in the top right.

I find myself having to wait an extreme amount of time 5-10 plus minutes for a call to come. I lately have been using the console and hand typing "StartCallout" to give myself something to do. 

 

Below are my settings and I made them pretty drastic just to rule out that I wasn't being impatient. With the default settings and those below I really don't notice any changes, and it is not too enjoyable when having to only launch calls via the console. Is there something I can do?

 

GTA IV 1.0.7.0

Ran LCPDR diagnostics and everything is green.

GTA.exe is ADMIN

Everything is unchecked read only. 

 

MaximumSecondsBeforeNewCallout 60           
MinimumSecondsBeforeNewCallout 30                
Multiplier 500

Does your first call out come fast?  Are you Alt+E clearing after that call out?  If you are sorry, but I had to ask some people don't know to clear calls...

 

Check the bottom left of the screen look for a small white phone icon with a x by it.  You need to Alt E if thats there.
