Yeah more than likely, try removing them and playing and see if anything goes wrong.

Most vehicle or ped mods cause strange errors in the game and there is nothing we can do about it sadly, for some they work well and for others they don't work at all.

 

Ahh, I see. Thanks again. Btw, how do i increase my callout frequency because after 3 times playing, i think i still haven't played all your callouts! Hahah!

 

And also I am facing problem with the vehicle suspect questionning as well, and sometimes the officer down callout crashes the game.

Open up the LCPDFR.ini file and change the following lines:

[Callouts]
MaximumSecondsBeforeNewCallout=600 
MinimumSecondsBeforeNewCallout=60 
Enabled=True 
Multiplier=250

 

As for the questioning and officer down, they've been reported as well. not sure what the issue is so I need to investigate it.

Here are some locations I found. In Bohan it's literally no place for a repair shop unless using one of unoccupied parking spots (the first set of coordinates)

I know I tried multiple times last night on multiple different traffic stops to question suspects, but it never seemed to work...I was thinking I was doing something wrong.

Strange, no crashing or anything it just refuses to let you question the suspect? Out of curiosity are you doing anything with the ped's vehicle? Also how do you park your vehicle?

Thanks for getting those. I'll take a look at them.

As I said before, some police stations don't have anywhere that would realistically be a garage. The smaller stations that have parking aren't really viable options, but I'll see what I can do.

True, it would look silly repairing a car in a parking slot. I'll look for something that can realistically pretend to be a municipal repair facility (police cars are usually repaired in workshops, not at stations anyway)

Nope! No crashing or anything. Parking right up behind the pulled over vehicle. Pull them out of the car and select "Detain in vehicle" Enter mine and press Q....get the message that I cannot question them because they are not in a pulled over vehicle...

Ahhh, are you literally pulling them out of the car or using the "exit vehicle" command in the traffic stop.

exit vehicle command....IE F10 during the stop...

Yeah, just tested and verified it decided to stop working. It worked absolutely fine before and now it just doesn't lol.

I've applied a fix for this (which involves getting hold of the traffic stop vehicle sooner and saving it), this will be in the next release.

Yes I am aware of this issue, however currently there seems to be absolutely no reason why it's crashing. No error is being produced in any of the log files.

 

I will force the officer down callout to remain inactivated in the next release to prevent this crash, while I try to determine the cause.

Will there be an option to enable this call? Works flawlessly for me and it's fun to search for the perp

Yeah, in an earlier version it always crashed because of a minor change with the LCPDFR builds. Rebuilding the plugin on a new version fixed it for pretty much everyone.

But for some reason now the game is crashing without error.

 

I just put a log info line on all of the key moments in the script.

The game visibly crashes upon exiting the 2nd animation (the player never stands up)

 

But the script runs to the initial call of PlayerSearching() which is where we create the blip for the last known location and then begin searching for the suspect.

Something is severely fucked up here and I have no idea what :/

 

Hastings, which ASI loader do you use? xlive.dll or dsound.dll?
