is there a oiv uninstall for this it corrupted my game and did not have a problem with my gta till i installed this 

Should of made a backup before installing. Number rule with Modding

you should make a video on this

It's impossible that this came from this mod. GTAV updated 3 days ago. That means shvdn & shv still needs to update. YOur issue might come from here. If you have more issues similar to this on your game, go check out the Unofficial LSPDFR support server. (discord.gg/ulss)

this corrupted my game as of 5/2/24 and i just updated and reinstalled this entire game. do not download until he has an uninstaller.

Works great I love it however I dont see any smoke or anything, its the default firing?

i cant fire my gun after installing this mod any idea on how to make work again?

Found a temporary solution for anyone who's installed this and is having game crashes after. Delete the "dlc_patch" folder in update/update.rpf or mods/update/update.rpf (if you used the mods folder it shouldn't crash, but just in case). Hope this helps some of you, it worked for me.

I'm not too fond of OIV. files for this reason. IDK how many times have I downloaded a mod that messed up my whole game and I had to reinstall everything which takes hours in my case.

No one ever had a game problem because of my mod, and if they say they did, they did something wrong or installed another mod and blames it on mine. You do what you want to do. And if you don't want to have that problem, just backup your game files before installing a big oiv. OIV or not, every single mod could mess up your game btw.

And I don't really think you want to install more than 500 files manually. That's why I made it as an oiv file.

If you installed the animations mod by Hanako, it comes from here but not from my mod. I advise you to uninstall hanako's animations mod if you have this issue.

That's your mod, I tried restarting Openiv and reinstalled your OIV and it still does the same thing

hi gura, i have the same issue here on a clean copy of GTA V and OpenIV, this mod has a broken .OIV file and it's definitely not your fault

installing via the .OIV will break your game due to the contents installing in completely wrong and random locations, do not install this mod

Same issue here, but I installed the Hanako's NPC Animations after the realistics mechanics mod. I can shoot and my animations are fine with no issues

I downloaded and installed it directly without looking at the comments. Afterwards, when I pressed (F4) the game crashed. If anyone experiences this problem; You can delete the files named update and dlc_patch in mods/update/update.rpf and continue where you left off.

can anyone speak to the recoil mechanic for this? I'd like to try it out, but being OIV without a uninstaller I'm hesitant to. other ones I've tried made the recoil painfully exaggerated, and I'm trying to avoid that. If it's solid, I'm willing to take the OIV risk. 

To that end, where is OIV installing this in the directory? is it in the DLC List?

The recoil modification is very low. You should backup your game files before modding so you can revert your modification if you wish to. It is NOT a DLC, it modifies game files.

Are all the files modified in the mods folder? Just want to minimize the amount of memory capitalized on for backing up.

Not all of them, just backup the game folder

Everyone saying "dont download it, it has no uninstaller" are just to lazy to take 20-30 minutes or less to find the files, copy them and when it crashes the game just put them in the game folder again. Its not that hard and doesnt take much time. 🙄

Little edit: I think it would still be good if there was an uninstaller OIV but its of course your decision @Slaker And do you know if the mod is compatible with NVE or other realistic blood mods/ gore mods?
