Adrian92 got a reaction from Riva in [WIP] [beta] WoutersCallouts - More callouts for LCPDFR
Hi! First of all, awesome script!

Just downloaded it, but i'm having a few major problems.

Is it working with the latest lcpdfr btw? The 1.0d

And also when i try to spawn the callout by pressing ~ then Startcallout Securicarrobbery (example) it will spawn other callout inatead maybe homeless ppl causing problems, mugging, etc.
Next problem i have is when i receive call regarding the LTA, everytime i arrive on scene it says case solved..and when i check the log file it says unable spawn ped after 2 attempt.

Thirdly if i get a cardiac arrest call, when i arrive near the scene it will comeout an error saying lcpdfr has encountered and error and ask me to restart lcpdfr

Lastly.. To be honest these are the only callouts i receive besides the original ones from lcpdfr.

Really hope someone can help me with my problems..

    Thanks in advance!!

Both known issues. Although the tracker theft one should have been fixed last build. As I've said, I can't fix the officer down callout. It's completely broken for no reason whatsoever. No error log, no information. No amount of safety checks fix the callout, because it continues to run successfully past the point that the game locks and CTD's (obviously once the game has crashed the plugin ends too.)

I'm not going to rewrite this any time soon, I have coursework and other priorities at the moment.
A bug fix release will be made sometime soon, including a rewrite of the barriers. But other than that there isn't much I can do now.

Yeah, just tested and verified it decided to stop working. It worked absolutely fine before and now it just doesn't lol.
I've applied a fix for this (which involves getting hold of the traffic stop vehicle sooner and saving it), this will be in the next release.

    More callouts for LCPDFR
    Introduction
Since the release of LCPDFR v1.0 I have been experimenting with the new API. Since I am one of the (probably) many people who think LCPDFR would benefit from more callouts, I think the addition of the API is a major step and I believe we will see a lot more mods (I should say plugins) with additional callouts, greatly increasing the variety of callouts in LCPDFR.

I should mention that this is a WorkInProgress, and I think it will stay that way. There will always be new callouts to add and different scenarios or locations to be added.
Of course, suggestions for improvements or new callout ideas are more than welcome.

The callouts that can be found in the current release:
Automatic Burglar Alarm Assistance to LTA (Liberty Transport Authority) Fuel theft Traffic collision involving pedestrian Suspicious parked vehicle Robbery in progress Indecent exposure Securicar robbery Civilian attacked in building Suicide attempt Cardiac arrest I am working on a few other callouts, but I am not yet confident about their stability and/or gameplay, so they might be in a later release or I might not release them at all:
People protesting Murder Other than these callouts, I also plan to make lots of other callouts. I will not list them all, but a few I think should not be skipped are:
Hit and run Bar fight etc... Some artwork-like images

Adrian92 reacted to LMS in 1.0d and change in release cycle
    Hello,

with 1.0d we decided to change the release cycle for LCPDFR a little. Since V is approaching, there won't be any new "bigger" releases anytime soon, such as 1.1. Instead, I plan to frequently patch the existing 1.0d installer to address issues reported and add one or two very small things (one being a better description for the QAM menu once you bring it up for the first time) to improve your experience. This saves us from all the hassle that comes with shipping an entirely new release and allows us to roll out small patches faster. My goal is simply that I want 1.0d to be as stable as possible once V is out, because we won't have any time for GTA IV then. I hope you understand the change and can live without properly named releases, release threads and guides in exchange for quick response time. I will update this thread every time I roll out a new release and also drop a brief change log though. The first patch should go live soon.

Since V will be most likely 64-bit (exclusive?), we at LCPDFR also have to make changes to our existing reverse engineering toolchain to adapt to the new architecture. Software in this business, normally bought by large enterprises and three letter agencies, is expensive and can easily hit 3k USD per license. Now this is a lot of money for us, so in case you haven't preordered V yet, we'd appreciate if you do so using our Amazon ref-links provided below. Using the link for your next usual shopping there counts as well, just in case you wish to support us even more. It's doesn't cost you anything, but we'd really appreciate it.

    1.0d #2

Short description of what has been changed:
Improved QAM for partners a little by adding help boxes and a text telling you when your partner is too far away for an action (when aiming at someone)     Fixed bugs with partner arresting and holding at gunpoint     Fixed a few crashes thanks to your reports     Improved performance a little     The multiply key can now be used to (un)mute your siren     Fixed issues with NOOSE vehicles set as suspect transporter models in settings     Several small fixes
Diagnostics Tool now shows status of link (if present)     Error Reporter will show a help button now when no savegame has been found to address confusion     Attempt to detect previous crash during restore which will bring up an option to cancel restoring (Error Reporter)
