AngeloCosma got a reaction from mesaal666 in Wheel Lock / More Control VIf using an xbox controller would this work the same as double tapping Y? Also setting Fast exit, is that in the "N" settings in game when pressing N on keyboard or in More Control V?

AngeloCosma got a reaction from mesaal666 in Wheel Lock / More Control VHey guys I have More Control V and am never able to get the Wheel Lock, or the tires to stay turned when exiting the vehicle. I have it set to TRUE in the .ini so I am not sure what else to do as I dont see a key command for it.
I have never seen this work one time, yet on YouTube and elsewhere people seem to be using it just fine.
Any ideas?

AngeloCosma got a reaction from densup in 2011 California Highway Patrol Ford Crown Victoria@Virzza Yeah Virzza sorry about the slight thread derail, I wasn't sure about mentioning that pack so I did add the disclaimer if it needs removing by all means mods go ahead. Sorry about that and I really look forward to the progress on these, good luck and I look forward to the future screenshots of its progress.

AngeloCosma reacted to SHERIFF/EMS/FIRE in Wheel Lock / More Control Vsame problem here. I hold the left turn key and double tap the F key and the wheel doesn't lock.
-
AngeloCosma reacted to LukeD in Wheel Lock / More Control VIt's set to allow controller input as well so long as the plugin detects a controller is plugged in and active. So yes, double tap Y is the same as double tap F on keyboard.
The controls are hardcoded for this so for fast exit it will only ever be double tap F or Y on controller, I could add them to the ini file if people want to change them.
In theory these should all run independently of each other and thus not be a problem, I'll test this when I have more time.
I did release a patch update recently so maybe see if that works for you.

AngeloCosma reacted to Kilyin in Wheel Lock / More Control VI don't use a controller, but I believe so.
EnableFastExit = True
EnableIVExitStyle = True
EnableWheelLock = True
I think as long as you have these set to true in the .ini, it should work.

AngeloCosma reacted to Kilyin in Wheel Lock / More Control VUse it in conjunction with fast exit (turn wheel, while holding turn, double tap F)

Sound pretty badass right? I plan on not only making a Whelen X-Ecutor mechanical wail siren mod standalone for GTA 5 but I also plan on making a Whelen Alpha Q siren mod as well! =D
Expect those fire truck siren mods to be out by next week.

AngeloCosma got a reaction from goldencandy610 in Check out ELS for V!So glad I came across this thread! ELS will be great, I hated having to hold down a key to change the siren, and now we will be able to do great siren / intersection clearting combos like in IV along with different light stages and traffic advisors!
Can I say one word... FINALLY!
Thanks so much Buggs and Lt. Caine you guys keep up the great work!!

AngeloCosma got a reaction fromDeactivated Memberin What are YOU doing while waiting for the RPH Update for the new patch?I thought we could backup our game via Rage and simply play the backup? Otherwise whats the point of the backup option?

AngeloCosma reacted to Bxbugs123 in Check out ELS for V!Here are the fact's.
ELS V is being made by Lt.Caine with help, support & testing from Me(Bxbugs123 & PoliceWag) no one else is testing it at this time.
The CVPI is this video is by Me(Bxbugs123)
DoctorGTA doesn't have ELS he will never be a tester of Lt.Caine's ELS, anyway he's banned from lcpdfr. He is just using the defaults with coronas removed to simulate that he has ELS to fool people.
EDIT: (6/21/2016) Prophet & GravelRoadCop are now apart of the testing team.

AngeloCosma reacted toDeactivated Memberin CHP CVPIs Slicktop and WhelenSome people are either too self-absorbed, concerned about crediting issues, or just do it because everyone else does. The way I see it, what's going to happen is someone is going to see a car mod, *saying the mod is unlocked* and think, "Oh, that's a nice light bar, i'd like to use it." What is supposed to be expected of the person is for them to give credit to the original person who created the light bar. Thing is, people get worried about people thinking that everyone is out there to rip and steal their modifications and taunt them around calling it their own. Which isn't entirely false, but It's not like everyone is going to do it. Maybe the one odd person. Some people however, may just have too much pride saying, "I made this mod! It's MINE! Look at my mod! It is great!" Usually posting pictures showcasing the mod in the image gallery and never actually releasing it, just showing it off saying, "LOOK WHAT I'VE DONE!" I do understand why some people would think of to be safe from dealing with the one or two people who mis-credit either on accident or on purpose, but in the long run, it's really not doing anything. Locking a car mod doesn't have much significance and can be broken. The way I see it, there is no stopping someone if they really want to have it, so why fight against it? Some people may see, I've spend days, weeks, months, perfecting this car mod I converted myself. I can see why someone would want it to be "safe", but again, there's no stopping it if it happens. I don't see what the big deal is if someone decides to steal something and call it their own. You were forever the one to create it and upload yourself. What's the difference if someone else uploads the same thing and credits themselves for it? What's to lose? Pride? It's not like one stolen car mod will bring everything crashing down around you. So what, if it's a deal, you can speak to a staff member about having it removed. Honestly, I thought it was pointless trying to stop people. It's just a headache for me to go through dealing with it. The way I see it is, "So what if someone uses my parts or car, it's not like it's my own car registered in my name in my address." I just decided I didn't care enough about it as it being quite pointless. If you can't stop a problem by having things the way you want it yourself, why not try another way and have it free for everyone else to enjoy and use themselves? I know that's a lot more fun than having to follow what that person wants to make.
Sorry for the wall of text. I just wanted to prove a point as clearly as I could.

AngeloCosma got a reaction fromDeactivated Memberin CHP CVPIs Slicktop and WhelenI don't understand why, since we all enjoy the hobby and all it will do is further grow and expand it. never understood why authors do that, what do they gain from it?

AngeloCosma reacted to J T in CHP CVPIs Slicktop and Whelenno they are just little kids who don't have anything going on with there life so they withhold these models..like that's going to make a difference other then piss people off but if they are going to act like that then I will buy these models, have them converted and give them to people who are willing to make and publicly release some LA cars chrg, cvpi, fpi sedan and caprice so well see if any of them grow any balls in the coming weeks

AngeloCosma got a reaction from FRGamer in 2009 Crown VictoriaThis was my ride for 2 years in Socal, and I got waves and hellos from local law enforcement lol.
It was a city beat unit, repainted it dark blue, and added the antennas and push bar, even had PA and some LEDs. Only bad part was could never go anywhere quick on the freeway because everyone did 65mph on the dot lol.
I sold it though a few months back.

AngeloCosma reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.3 Announcement + First PreviewAfter a short break from the non-stop development of the first couple of versions of LSPDFR, we're really excited to officially announce the next installment in the series - LSPDFR 0.3. As you might have come to expect, LSPDFR 0.3 takes strongly after its predecessors, introducing a big bunch of groundbreaking new features and gameplay.
With actually only a few weeks of development, it is amazing how far this next version of LSPDFR has come, and the extent of fresh, new content and possibilities that it offers.
You asked, we listened. Arresting suspects has been drastically improved, especially with the brand new addition of interactive cuffing - no guns required!
With 0.3, we've taken the time to rebuild some of the core mechanics of the modification, particularly as it comes to arresting suspects. With a brand new interactive system, you can now easily and seamlessly place stopped suspects in handcuffs. The animations for this are incredibly fluid, as is the way in which the process works, with interactivity being a key component. In 0.3, when you arrest someone, there's a very tangible feeling of control - a massive improvement from earlier versions where, due to a reliance on normal playback, it could often feel as though you had been taken out of the game as you waited for an animation to finish.
The Vapid Police Interceptor makes its LSPDFR debut in 0.3. Well, with our entirely new and seriously powerful XML based backup unit customization, so does every other vehicle (and ped) in your game too!
We'll be sharing more about the features and changes in LSPDFR 0.3 over the next week or so, as we take a more in-depth look at what 0.3 brings to the table, including the full Downtown Police Station interior, amazingly improved interaction with suspects, and much more!
