Let’s hop in our DeLorean, put the pedal to the floor, hit 88 mph, and get ready to travel back to December 12th, 2014!  Join us as we take a look at what was new here on LCPDFR.com during Constitution Day in Russia!

...

Phew, we made it!  Let’s get out and see what we can find…

Site
Ah yes, 2014.  The days of LCPDFR 1.0 and the old website style.  Looking at this brings back memories, and if I’m honest, even more love for the new site.  For those of you that have never seen this layout before, welcome to the old days!

Vehicle Textures
If you happened to log into LCPDFR.com on December 12, 2014 and searched for the latest vehicle texture, a brand new pack by @Illusionyary would be the first item in the list!  This pack features textures for multiple popular vehicles, unique license plates, scratch-made decals, and even stealth liveries!

Gallery
Checking the gallery section, you would be greeted by an image from @GCPD that describes a scenario that occurred on Iowa St.  The officers responded “for a vehicle involved in a drive by shooting” where two suspects were taken into custody with no reported injuries.  A good day in LC!

Work in Progress Scripts/Audio/Misc
Looking at the work in progress section, we can see a new siren pack being worked on by the legend: @Double Doppler.  This pack includes new Federal Signal SS2000 with true authenticity.  Included in the siren is a new manual tone that makes it all the more realistic!

Leaderboard
Looking at the leaderboard we can see the winner of the day was none other than our fearless leader, @Sam!  Following up close behind are Illusionyary and @ItsTim.

The top liked content on this day includes our Work in Progress rumbler siren, a sneak peak image of a new Taurus NYPD interceptor that would soon be released, and another gallery image of the Las Vegas Metro PD on scene at an incident.

I hope you enjoyed our time-travelling adventure, Marty.  This day was a busy day here on LCPDFR.com!

Hey, it's better than IP.Board, or whatever it's called. That Forum Software looks horrible.

The best thing ever happened in the history of this site.

I joined the staff team.

EVER

Yeah, lets go with that. :P

Tbh looking back at GTA IV/LCPDFR, I'm glad I got into GTA modding with V.  I don't think I could've taken how horrible GTA IV's art style was.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

Drama erupted. Honestly, I feel like maybe it should come back too, as I do have a lot of things to say that don't really need a full-blown topic.

Regardless, though, I feel like those were the good old days, too, even though I would have never known LCPD:FR existed then. If only I were able to join in the GTA IV prime time...

It's been three years, but I'm back again...

Yeah sorry, we took them away initially because there was a lot of drama and we didn't really have any moderation tools to deal with Status Updates.

That situation has changed a bit so they will probably return soon.

Heh. In that case you better get on with it. It was one of the things that made this Site/Forum unique when compared to most others. :)

Thanks for the update, Cyan.

i wish i would of known about lspdfr back then, late to the party at 2017, i just randomly found a youtube video of a guy playing gta 5 and saw he was a cop, i was like hmm whats this? saw a title called lspdfr, and google searched it, best thing i ever did. To date from any mod i have ever tried, this one tops them all. This mod so good, i could see it being used as a training tool for actual law enforcement. Good job.

"I’m try get this mod could u help me out"

I just recently download lspdfr and all mods this past week, need any help just add me on steam, holysmite22. or shoot an email to nikeair244@yahoo.com, and can add you on something else if you dont got steam. Im going to be looking into trying to get lspdfr Co-Op to work.

LSPDFR Noobie

I don't mean to sound rude, which I probably do... but this "News Post" is completely useless. Do you really have nothing new to show about the LSPDFR development? No new features to even talk about after years of development?

The first couple of those monthly News-Articles started out very promising and interesting. But now it's very easy that you struggle to find anything remotely interesting or important to talk about.

Perhaps you are confused on the function of this website. This website serves as a modding community, that was initially based around the LCPDFR mod. The URL is still lcpdfr.com for instance. The main focus of this website is no longer on the LCPDFR or LSPDFR modification. These modifications are separate from the website. This website serves it's main function as a modding website for the GTA4 and GTA5 series of game.

Whilst I understand the frustration at the lack of news around LSPDFR, it is a free modification that we don't charge you for. It's a big mod to work on, with many complex parts. We could either spend all of our time like other projects on talking about it -- and getting absolutely nothing done, or we could spend the small amount of time that we have free on getting stuff done.
