Just happened, doesn't surprise me, bound to happen soon.

All my wishes and luck to the French people.

Edit: Explosions heard at the France - German soccer game going on.

  • I'm unsure why people are so surprised; Europe have little to no border controls. We don't care if the people who come to Europe are rapists, terrorists or fraudsters.

My French teacher from school lives in the vicinity and I can't contact her now. Shit. I'm almost sure she's OK but still.

And I am surprised. I felt like after Charlie Hebdo attack and with all the immigration problem the internal security across all of the EU countries must be on the highest alert.

40 deads.

3 explosions around the national stadium.

6 shootings.

An hostage situation.

That's what I got so far on our newsfeed. Glad I'm not in Paris, and glad I'm living in the countryside when this shit goes down, but that's really bad.

As a last update:

six coordinated attacks, around sixty dead, a state of emergency is declared and the borders are closed.

Got an unconfirmed report that the army is moved into the city to provide help to local police.

My thoughts are with both the families and friends of the victims, and hope that negotiations for the release of the hostages are successful. I have great faith in the people of France, not to let this vile attack on innocent people, cause irreparable fear and terror. Likewise, I expect the French forces will respond very rapidly and, quite frankly bring the fear of God into the eyes of these cowardly attackers. Sincere condolences for those lost, we in the UK stand together with our French companions against acts of terrorism, and I already expect a reaction from both France and its allies, which will wipe the scum off the face of the Earth!

Sincerely

So, yes, terrorist organisations are sending us the best freedom fighters they have.

This is such a horrible and deplorable attack. Incidents like these confirm what critics have been saying for years. I can only hope our policy makers wake up to prevent further bloodshed.

Apparently some countries are more prepared than others. The GB had those terrible metro bombings, and no major incidents since then (if I remember it correctly). Germany had almost no incidents at all since Munich. I hope that this will remain. And of course, sixty dead, a hundred hostages, and several explosions near the country president gotta make politicians think about checking those who cross the border... I hope.

I'm also slightly scared myself since IS stated they want to attack Russia as well. So far that was just talk, but now. Shit.

Remember our chat about terrorists in the eu and how easy it is to cross the border disguised as a refugee nowadays?

Now all eyes are on paris....none of our polititians gives a shit who comes into our countries. All we hear is: "We need to help, we need to do this and that". What we really need is to stop so many people from crossing our borders without knowing who the **** comes through.

"Some say that the outline of his left nipple is exactly the same shape as the Nurburgring, and if you give him a really important job to do, he’ll skive off and play croquet."

Hostage situation is over, 2 terrorists dead, unknown if there was more of them.

EDIT: Apparently, the inside was a true massacre. They attacked people with grenades -inside-, people dismembered, truly a sight of horror for the RAID and cops.

From the last news, 7 attacks have occured at the same time, which means 7 groups of people worked to organize this, to prepare the attacks without anyone noticing anything.

I swear, french intel is one of the worst, they are -always- late, in every situation.

My god, this is just horrific. The world leaders will find and kill all of those responsible. The terrorists have had their turn, let's have ours.
