Jety2011 got a reaction from Callum Tait in Stuck in Arrest AnimationThat's why we said sometimes :-D
I'm pretty sure the issue will be addressed in further versions of LSPDFR.

Jety2011 reacted to Solidefiance in BrexitPersonally, I think the vote to leave the EU was a good call, the British people made their own history that day and it creates a great opportunity for Britain to retake their country back. As someone who resides in a country that is not in the EU (Canada), I've been following the EU closely for the past few years. The EU to me seems very toxic and seems to have been getting a lot less "democratic" over time. The idea that a power like that has control of whatever a country can and can't do is a scary and unreasonable idea. A lot of different countries and political parties have come out and said that the main reason for the leave of the EU is because of immigration, and honestly, that is a perfectly reasonable reason to leave. The UK has been shoveled loads upon loads of immigrants, which again, is dictated by the EU it seems. With how everything is turning into a politically correct monsoon, it's now frowned upon to want your country to be your country and no one else's.
Like the Hungarian Prime Minster said, "the ideal number of migrants entering Hungary is zero" when he congratulated the Brexit vote and the British people. Let's be honest, I think a lot of people are fed up with all of these immigrants entering the country and receiving free health care, money, their schooling paid for, housing, food, etc. People are freaking out thinking this limits the UK's trade power too, but the UK isn't going to have any problems trading with whomever they want, especially so now that the EU does not dictate who the UK trades with. The UK will always have Canada as a trade partner, and I don't see the U.S all of a sudden abandoning that deal either. If anything this will strengthen relationships even more.

Jety2011 reacted to ScarletDraconis in BrexitI don't hold the people of Germany responsible today, but I have to admit they are not very grateful for all the gifts we offered them during all those years and are not very keen to be as kind as other countries were to them. Also, I believe I've seen somewhere that if France had to pay what Greece owes them, it would cost at most ~150 euros per citizen. Not that much, for the relieve of an entire country, and from my several trips to the land of baguettes, I can say they are very generous!

A world economy that can be thrown into turmoil by a simple referendum does not seem like a very stable world economy.
Also, there was a certain degree of racism and xenophobia that lead to results of the vote. Its a pretty scary direction the whole western world seems to be heading in.

Jety2011 reacted to OfficerJessica in BrexitTo be perfectly honest, I view most of the Leave outcry and social media tantrums as the far-left student demographic getting a massive kick in the face for not getting their way for once, no matter how many placards they wave or faux-intellectual Facebook posts they post. Most if not all the Leave votes were from people with perfectly reasonable issues with the current status quo, such as the fact that our public services and housing cannot cope with many more people due to chronic under-funding and mismanagement (hospital waiting areas are stuffed to the brim, and you'd be lucky to see a foot patrolling police officer around my area). In addition, due to the EU's trading mandate, currently the UK limits trade to non-EU countries- if we do leave, countries such as China, Commonwealth countries and the US will line up to sign new trade agreements. Plus, the economic shock brought on by the Brexit will only be a short term thing; currently the pound is recovering to healthier levels and is nowhere near the lows of 2008. The EU started off with good intentions, as a means of trade between neighbor states, but it's slowly evolved into a practical dictatorship with unelected leaders and ridiculous laws that in practice can't work everywhere for every member state. For this reason, leaving the EU for more autonomy in our affairs seems like it could work in the long term; we don't have to fully pull out and still have some of the membership benefits in addition to expanded trade, but no one really knows what will happen once we formally leave, making the whole exercise a risky step in the short term.
I have to say though, having Boris Johnson as PM would make BBC Parliament a lot more entertaining to watch, it would be like a four-hour long improvised standup comedy.

Jety2011 reacted to LMS in "Stop Ped"Thanks for sharing :) We're currently monitoring the forums for issues like this and are likely to release a hotfix in the following days addressing the most common issues.

Jety2011 got a reaction from Steele1925 in "Stop Ped"Hi,
I thought it was only me :-). I'm having the same issue. After reloading lspdfr, the "stop-ped- function" is working again.
I doesn't occure if you drive the ped to the station instead of calling a transport unit
-
Jety2011 reacted to Steele1925 in "Stop Ped"Hello,
Just figured I'd let the team know that for whatever reason, the "Stop Ped" action breaks whenever I do the following (as an example, in this order)
1. Stop Ped (by holding Right on the DPad, as I use a 360 controller)
2. Ask for ID
3. Check ID (run their ID)
4. Arrest Ped (without using weapon)
5. Place Ped on ground (kneeling position)
6. Call for Code 2 Transport
After all of this, I am no longer able to "Hold E" or "Hold Right on DPad" until I reload the game. I'm not sure what causes this, and it's not the biggest problem, as Armed Arrests still work, but again I figured I'd bring this to your attention. This is with LSPDFR 0.3, and no other scripts/callouts. Thank you for your time, and have a wonderful day.

Jety2011 reacted to FadedCalicoJack in YOU'RE WELCOME!So, I just spent the last several hours attempting to see which mods work along side the new 0.3 update and the new RPH updates. This is what I have found to work with
LSPDFR 0.3 and what I am still testing: BreathalyzerRage (Not yet tested)
Emergency Strobes (Work great! And look awesome too!)
More Control (works GREAT!)
Ped Search (Still Testing)
Speed Radar (Works Great!)
Spotlight (Still bright enough to see even the ugliest of hookers of Vespucci Blvd!)
Vehicle Search (Still testing)
Usually I am pushing some of these to their limits (turning them on and off relentlessly, attempting to glitch it out, hitting it with a hammer, lighting it on fire, sacrificing it to Sam and LMS, the usual). The ones listed here work great so far and the ones I am still testing I am still trying to make them break. LOL
Mostly all of the Callouts, Police Radio, Arrest Manager and Traffic Manager all cause RPH 0.34 to crash. This is because they have not yet been updated by the authors. And please, before anyone whines about why stuff isn't updated yet, remember that these guys are just like us and have lives just like us. I for one am incredibly happy that they choose to make this stuff for free for all of us to enjoy!
So to all of the developers and authors and programmers and coders:
THANK YOU!
Just don't read the fine print of how addicting the mod can be, the "pending" FDA approval and such. It means nothing.

Jety2011 reacted to Cyan in Terror Attack in Paris, France, 18 confirmed dead.I'm unsure why people are so surprised; Europe have little to no border controls. We don't care if the people who come to Europe are rapists, terrorists or fraudsters.
So, yes, terrorist organisations are sending us the best freedom fighters they have.
This is such a horrible and deplorable attack. Incidents like these confirm what critics have been saying for years. I can only hope our policy makers wake up to prevent further bloodshed.

Jety2011 reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.3 - "Busted!"This is the fourth part of our LSPDFR 0.3 preview series. For more information about the background behind 0.3, check out the third installment in this series here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/55644-lspdfr-03-downtown-police-station/
So, from the hundreds of thousands of videos on YouTube, the near half-million million downloads of the mod itself and the the fact we keep on smashing records, like when we had 5,000 of you crazy folk online at once, we've got this really small, tiny suspicion - and I'm just going on a hunch here - but we think you guys quite like to arrest people?
If there's actually some truth to this wild guess, I'm very happy to tell you that we've got quite the new feature set for when dispensing your own brand of justice is necessary. Don't just take my word for it though, this is one of those occasions where a picture tells probably a lot more than a thousand words.
As you can see, we've implemented a beautiful new gameplay mechanic for performing certain tasks which gives you real-time visual feedback in the form of a progress bar. The cool bit is that it looks like exactly like the user interface found in the original game, too.
Now, instead of simply pointing a gun and pressing a key to arrest a suspect, you have to actually keep aim in their general direction while holding down said control. As you do this, the progress bar fills (and it does so really quickly). Now, we know a lot of people wanted to see the ability to arrest suspects on the ground, so the end result of a successful gunpoint takedown is a suspect laying flat on the floor, ready to be cuffed up. Oh yeah, we're just getting started...
As you might be able to work out, the same new gameplay mechanic is then used for giving the gift of metal bracelets to your suspect, where you actually interactively apply the cuffs; progress meter filling in time with the animation. Not only is this system really cool, but it is also truly immersive - you have complete control over the process meaning that a sudden change in heart can be realised by simply releasing the control. This new system is pretty awesome, and we can't wait for everyone to be able to try it for themselves.
Of course, all of this is a little bit mean so far. We've got people getting guns shoved in their faces as they are forced down to the ground and what not; wouldn't it also be nice to be able to serve up some justice with a friendly smile? We think it would be, so you can now arrest people without using any weapons at all through the way in which this new gameplay mechanic is now tied in with the Stop & Identify feature. When stopping pedestrians on the street, everything works as it did before: pressing E will bring up the same menu with the same options. One key difference, though, is that by merely looking at your target, then pressing and holding the same key, you can begin seamlessly cuffing them on the spot. The results can be quite spectacular.
You've probably sussed that we really like this new mechanic by now, and we hope that you like the sound of it as much as we do. To seal the deal though, you can use the same process to release suspects from handcuffs now. It's as simple as walking behind them and pressing and holding the same key used to set them down on the ground.

https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/enhanced-native-trainer (singleplayer only)
Have your multiplayer character set up before you modded GTA 5 in general, and it will give you the option in SP Director Mode to use your MP character. Once you load up your MP character in SP Director Mode, use the trainer, and then go to: Model Spawning-->Clothes Menu. Then you select which clothing options (see the attached pictures)
For the those who wander, yes it does work in Online session and you can saved them in your outfits, but at your own risk ONLY. The chances for bans are very low, but still unauthorized so be carefull and discret. Us invite only session only with or without your friends and don't cheat (money etc.)
Notes
1) The sheriff shirts are not meant to be worn without the bulletproof vest, meaning the nametag and the badge are still the vanilla textures, due to lack of 3D model editing. We can't change the shield badge to a star yet.
2) Most of the files replaces other clothing like, overcoats, golden T-shirts, Fur coats, unused meshes or textures, meshes from updates like valentines dlc or independence dlc.
3) This mod is now compatible with ''Cop holster'' by PieRGud (Make sure you have to install the last version Cop Holster)
Planned features
- Long sleeves + tie for LSPD
- Coats for LSPD
- Add more millitary gear
- Version for females
- NOOSE/tactical gear

Help! I have black textures on my shoulders!
To avoid this you must higlight or select (depending on your trainer) only the drawable #0, #1, #2, #8, #9, if you made a mistake your only way to fix this is to quit the game and re-launch it
Mother of god my body is possess by the evil forces
Make sure you are wearing all the correct drawables for the specific oufit, happens mostly with the new decals, duty belts, new tops. Once you are wearing everything you shall be free from any evil forces

Jety2011 reacted to Cj24 in My Thoughts on V ModelingI did write try to force. It started especially after Iconography's (now removed) status, who wrote LCPDFR.com will never accept locked models for V. Even though that status is gone, many people are acting like modders who lock their models are the devils within the community. Just look at the comments of Bugs' three latest pictures.
I'm afraid I'm the wrong person to ask this because I don't require people to ask me for permission. Most of the cars I've converted or the parts I've created have been released unlocked. Either I, or somebody else released it. There're so many unlocked models available right now, I really don't even understand why people are complaining. It's not like it was four or five years ago, when the only unlocked car was a Charger. Yet, back then, nobody complained.
It's simply not possible to release everything unlocked. As soon as you use any part from Bxbugs, you have to release it locked. As soon as you use a private model somebody sent you, you have to release it locked.
I think credits are the least that's expected anywhere. I really don't know any other game where it's not absolutely normal to credit other people. In most games however, you simply don't use models created or converted by ten different people.
I agree with that. It's hard to know if a model is ever going to be released, though. You could run into problems (for example good old RC20) or simply lose interest. Just because there're screenshots of a mod, it doesn't have to be finished.
-
Jety2011 reacted to Cj24 in My Thoughts on V ModelingIt's a surprise people were releasing for SA and IV then, because models were never completely secure. You were always expecting people to respect your work, and if they don't, you were expecting a website's staff to react.
I'm wondering why you believe that people have that attitude. I've never seen anything like that. People want correct credits, not credits that praise them to the sun. They're supposed to list all contributions properly.
A bit of a misconception of the internet. Just because you can download movies and music for free, it's not because you're allowed to. Everything has license agreements, no matter whether it's software, games, music, movies, models, videos, pictures or fonts. Many people simply choose to ignore them.
People are always restricting limit to their work. In some games modding is allowed and encouraged, in some it's tolerated, in some it's completely forbidden. Do you expect modders to be different people? Some let you edit their mods, some don't. Just because all models are unlocked, that's not going to change.
People here need to stop believing it's egoistic to release a locked mod. People share a mod, they give it to you for free to use it in your game. It's egoistic to keep expecting more.
In fact, handling permissions without being able to lock models is going to be much more complicated. When you used third party models for your vehicle in IV you were allowed to use, but not to redistribute, you simply locked the car. Now you don't just have to credit people for all their parts, but you also need to post whether other people are allowed to edit and redistribute these specific parts, including all conditions or requirements.
At this point, where donations or commercial youtube presentations are accepted by the community, it's pretty obvious people want to limit redistribution to make sure they get the recognition they want and deserve themselves. It's wrong just to remember the "selfish" modders that release locked models, you also need to think about those selfish people who release another's work with slight changes just to get popularity.
