  1. Hard to make a new life to IV when OpenIV was a large part of IV as well, but I guess we have SparkIV too.
  2. First time I am here in a while. Fuck, I don't think many remember me. But whatever. This in first of all, a real blow in the face to me, who personally loved modding when I was into it, and I had plans to try to get back to it, sometime. But I guess I was too late. Also, this was a really fucking awful move when it comes to business. They're chasing away one of their most hard-core fanbases, the modders. And now they're all going away. This is a big middle finger to the modding community, and T2 and R* deserves the shit they are getting.
  3. Hah! Someone unexpected came in. I'm guessing Ineseri will post next.
  4. http://edition.cnn.com/2016/07/25/world/japan-knife-attack-deaths/index.html http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/26/world/asia/knife-japan-stabbing-sagamihara.html http://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/20160726_10/ http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/breaking-sagamihara-stabbings-19-dead-8492641 Terrible act. Apperently the suspect handed himself in to local authorities, thankfully. The event seems to have played out at a facility for handicapped persons. My condolences goes to the victims and their families. Edit; Keep your gun-control debates to the existing topic, so we can discuss this event here, without flooding of other things. pls dont ban me for backseat mod
  5. ISIL managed to take down a plane. A feat that haven't been executed since 2004, in Russia by Chechen terrorists. That happened with bribing and lacking security. Al-Qaeda isn't as dangerous, since they are concist and is planning ahead. They play with rules. ISIL on the other hand, is an organization made of nutjobs. This results in them being less predictable, and thus harder to stop. And also, a lot of the Al-Qaeda attacks are from Iraq, so I'm not sure how it makes "Iraq, Syria, and other countries that aren't very stable" a valid awnser.
  6. I listed it as two entites because, well, one was against cafés and resturants, and the other against a crowd in a concert hall. We think in diffrent manners. And also, sorry for not reading up. But, ISIL can do more damage. They don't do it large scale, like Al-Qaeda. Smaller plots require smaller groups, which leads to a smaller chance of getting cought with your pants down. And let's do some more research, shall we? And obligatory maths, to go along. Here are my numbers that I calculated using wikipedia sources. The number are death counts from attacks by the two groups. Al-Qaeda is shortened in the first paragraph to "AlQ" AlQ 2 200+ 3000 19 1 3 202 13 39 45 12 57 22 192 1 6 9 54 8 17 40 29 95 117 178 74 100 160 74 85 215 135 152 198 101 155 85 100 110 133 ISIL 75 331 449 94 54 38 4 1 1 1 3 1 4 2 10 2 22 142 4 1 27 38 21 1 130 33 102 224 43 130 13 14 60 16 60 12 4 4 57 83 4 32 26 33 2 90 28 7 49 2 23 325 7 84 ISIL: 2016:840 2014: 9 2015: 1020 2013: 1041 _________ TOTAL: 2910 since 2013 Al-Qaeda TOTAL: 6004 since 1992 And yes, Al-Qaeda has killed twice as many, in 21 more years. Note that the wikipedia article about ISIL starts at 2013. This means Al-Qaeda has an average with 250 kills/year. ISIL on the other hand got 970 kills/year. To round that off, ISIL kills four times as many persons per year on average than Al-Qaeda does. ISIL is with no doubt, a more dangerous group, that can do a lot more damage than Al-Queda ever would. Links that helped me; https://www.quora.com/How-many-people-have-been-killed-by-ISIS https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents_linked_to_ISIL https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_al-Qaeda_attacks Also, sorry if my numbers don't add up correctly.
  7. Let's go trough some "major" attacks set in Europe last year, and compare it to 2005-2006. 2015.01.07; Charlie Hedebo attacks. 12 dead. 2015.01.08; Attack on a policewoman in France. 2015.01.09; 4 Jewish persons are killed in France. 2015.01.29; 1 person is stabbed by a man shouting a "Jihadi war cry" in Belfast. 2015.02.14; A gunman shoots into a café where a speech is held by a cartoonist critical of islam. Copenhagen. 2015.02.15; A Jewish man is shot to death in a synagoga in Copenhagen. 2015.05.10; Eight police officers are killed in Macedonia by Islamists. 2015.06.21; Three people are killed by a "mentally ill" man with an intrest for Jihadism in Graz, Austria. 2015.06.26; A "normal" muslim attacks a factory in France, decapitating one worker. 2015.11.13; 89 people are killed in the Bataclan during a concert. 2015.11.13; 39 people are killed in resturants, bars and cafés all over Paris. And now 2005. 2005.07.07; 52 commuters dead in attacks in the busy London traffic. (This was *the" only major attack on European soil.) It is a spike. A large fucking one, too.
  8. Apperently there has been an attack in Munich, with at least 10 injuries six deaths according to the swedish news site Expressen. SkyNews stream: CNN http://edition.cnn.com/2016/07/22/europe/germany-munich-shooting/index.html Fox News http://www.foxnews.com/world/2016/07/22/shots-fired-at-shopping-center-in-munich-reports-say.html BBC http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36870874 Who's behind this attack? The, now weekly, extreme islamists or a nutjob? My thoughts and prayers are to the people of Munich and the LEO's that are helping Germany.
  9. This last week has been terrible. Dallas Shooting, Nice Attacks, failed coup d'etat in Turkey, and now this. I honestly hope that the suspect burns in hell, and that the officers will rest in peace.
  10. Here are some good links; http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/16/world/europe/military-attempts-coup-in-turkey-prime-minister-says.html?hp&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&clickSource=story-heading&module=a-lede-package-region&region=top-news&WT.nav=top-news http://edition.cnn.com/2016/07/15/asia/turkey-military-action/index.html http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36809083
  11. They're doing jack shit about ISIL, and they're fighting the one's who fight against ISIL. Not only that, they're fucking up NATO - Russo relations as well. I hope this Coup D'etat makes an end to Erdogans twisted agenda.
  12. I would like a secular Turkey, but I do not really want a pro-EU Turkey. Due to their location and large borders, I don't trust them to be able to check everyone at their borders, and their country is pretty corrupt.
  13. Well, I have a strong disliking for the Turkish goverment, but what that region don't need more of is unrest and spilled blood.
  14. This is just fucked. Honestly I am not suprised anymore. BLM has practically evolved into a terrorist group by now, and I am glad DPD did their jobs well. I hope that a large scale crackdown on civilians owning hunting weapons or automatic weapons that supports BLM is going to happen soon. I hope that the fuckers who are behind this that didn't get shot by police gets locked up for life or executed. Also, "Guns don't kill people, other people do, but automatic weapons and hunting rifles help."
lol. who would even use a tahoe off road lol Jk, great car.
  15. I just checked that up, sorry for the mistake. That party seems pretty damn right-wing. Either way, there is a right-wing storm blowing over Europe. :p
  16. Looking how the politics and the (current) aftermath of Brexit and opinon polls around europe, there's a clear spike in right-wing movements, such as Alternative für Deutchland, UKIP, Sweden Democrats and Front Nationale in most EU countries. I myself hope that we get an end to the EU, and just reform Europe, and disbands or reforms NATO and improves relations with Russia. There is a couple of ways the upcoming EU will look like, and it will hopefully crumble. NATO should have been disbanded at the end of the cold war, and EU shouldn't be more than a trade union. Let countries choose if they want open borders and EU laws or not. All in all, I highly support the British choice, and I hope this will spread across Europe. There might be unstability for a while, but sooner or later it will be fine. As long as there is no centralized goverment ruling over 700 million people, I will be satisfied.
  17. 'Twas a good move from the British chaps. I can understand their opinions about it, the EU started out as a project to help secure the economy for industries during the cold war, to be sure they had a stable production in wartime. Now it's just a union that is controlled by politicians you have never heard about that you didn't vote for. What Europe needs is a trade union with every country existing like sovereign states. Not the current bullshit, where a small elite controls large amounts of unwanted laws, like hunting weapon controls and open borders.
  18. They'll blind the drivers patrolling in that. The hell were they thinking?
  19. I've been getting more and more by each week. :^)
