Well done, man. I appreciate your Mod, its well done. I hope you will add something fantastic, never seen before in future... (I don't even know what I'm saying, true love, no homo)

Had a very nice moment with a lady who got drunk and drove inside the motorcycle store. But when vehicle removal team arrived I got a message 'error with lcpdfr.loader' or something and crashed  :sleep:

I'm not sure if that's connected to Callouts+ though. Maybe you'll tell me?

Thanks for reporting the issue. I've checked your LCPDFR.log and there is no crash I can see related to callouts+.

You mentioned it was a loader error so can you post your ScriptHookDotNet log file for me please?

 

Also,  I think I know what the issue is already and should have already fixed it for the next release.

I will always help out the good community members who bother to explain their situation and give me the error logs too. So it's no bother at all :)

 

As I suspected, the crash is as follows:

 

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

 

The problem has been fixed already for the next release, but thanks for the report either way :)

Because that's the way I did it.

 

I'll be working on the paramedic feature later on to make it better.

Talkin' about paramedics:

 

there's one little thing you could do, LukeD, to make it more idiot proof: add IsOnDuty() check so player can't call paramedics while offduty which causes exception of null reference (cannot create resources).

It shouldn't cause any issues being on or off duty. But let me put it this way, 0.5 is a total overhaul to the previous versions.

How's the progress of 0.5, can't wait for it!

 

Currently in a stage where I'm just removing bugs and tidying up any lose ends. However I am now in training so progress is a little slower (although not too much slower).

I can't give an expected date of release or a timescale. Because new bugs may arise as and when I remove others. But once I am closer to a stable build I'll update you all.

With PoliceHelper that may or may not keep on getting progressed, world events would be nice. Not necessarely people asking for directions, but drunk drivers and such.
Looking at people looking forward to the 0.5 version, what would come in that then, if you feel like saying? :)

 

EDIT:  Also i saw another thing on a video with possible another mod of a car burglar where you have to find a potential thief and stop him from doing a burglar. Would this be a possibility?

LCPDFR already has drunk drivers and similar ambient scenarios, so I wont be adding anything that copies those. Maybe some other stuff I might think of.

As for the callout idea, I'll think about it :)

 

Yeah, I feel like giving out a little information so here you go everyone :)

Features that are coming to 0.5 include:

 

• Dynamic Road Traffic Collisions

• Vehicle checks via radio

• Secret Feature X involving trucks.....

• Secret Feature Y involving...wood.....

• Complete overhaul of the mod internally.

• Lots of bug fixes.

 

Please note, this list is not entirely representative of the 0.5 release. Some error may come up and mean a feature gets cut from the release etc.

More details will be posted when the build is ready for release, so for now you will have to just wait to find out what the secret features are :P
