DivineHustle got a reaction from Darnath in PresidentI forgot to come back and respond to your comment. I want to say that I definitely agree with you and it's true. I didn't like Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, so initially I was completely unsure of who I was going to vote for. Then I conducted my own research, rather than flip on the TV like most others do, and gathered some background information on the candidates. What I saw was completely insane; I saw anti-Trump protesters rioting. They were attacking police, fighting in the streets, flipping cars, burning out businesses, burning American flags, waving Mexican flags, cursing American to the ground to crumble and burn, attacking Trump supporters and vandalizing property publicly endorsing Trump. I immediately went out and voted for Donald Trump afterward. They made it easy for me. If it hadn't been for them, I may have actually voted Clinton or third party.
I wasn't aware that we had an interactive selection menu of a preferred country of origin before we were born. I must have missed the cut, maybe new technology of some sort?
I did not choose to be an American, I was born an American, and I take pride in it thereof. If I were born Australian then I'd be proud to be Australian. If I were born French then I'd be proud to be French. America isn't any different friend.

I added and removed so many goddamn files between NVE and GTA V that somewhere along the way I deleted something and haven't had a working game + LSPDFR all day so I am currently doing a fresh and clean install of GTA V and will try NVE once again with the above suggestions.
I almost have half a mind to start screen recording the ending of the GTA V fresh install, installing RHP and all necessary components plugins with NO mods except NVE, play around in-game up until I get ELS.asi scripthook error and send the video to Razed and everybody who is pointing their finger at us.
Such a great mod doesn't deserve such shitty developers who won't update and help fix these errors that THOUSANDS of people are having.

DivineHustle got a reaction from Evilnoodle in An exception occurred while executing ELS.asiYeah I also brought this issue up on the Reshade discord, and I got the finger and was told it's all on me. Guess you have to choose between Reshade, or everything else. I'll go with the latter and ditch Reshade until they (likely never) come up with a fix for this.

DivineHustle reacted to Yasd in Game crash shortly after going on dutyPlease navigate to your GTAV/lspdfr/lspdfr.ini and set AmbientSpawn.DisableRandomUnits = true.
move Input Manager From GTAV/Plugins/LSPDFR to GTAV
Failed to parse value for WorldEvents.IntervalMultiplier
you edited it wrong, go back to default value or double check.

DivineHustle reacted to Steelie in An exception occurred while executing ELS.asi@OfficerBenzo For all those STILL having trouble with the dll file. All current versions of reshade are incompatible with LSPDFR and GTAV in general, hence why there are asi errors. If you right click on GTAV.exe in your main directory, then properties, and click compatibility, you can change it from windows 8 to windows 7. No, it does nothing to your game and all your mods and plugins will still work. I have done this myself and have 0 issues with NVE because the reshade that is included is now "compatible" again with GTAV. IF this helps anyone please let me know, im been super salty for MONTHS not being able to use NVE and I've finally gotten it to work. The devs for NVE suck. sorrynotsorry.
-
I do not believe the issue was fixed on the October 10th NVE release. From my understanding the only issue that was fixed was the new custom weathers. Even after the very latest release, still same issues with ELS.asi and after that further down the line, it is trainerv.asi, then openallinteriors.asi. I am truly amazed by the lack of people that use NVE with Reshade and have ELS installed on the NVE discord. I think all 3 people that posted about it including myself are in this very thread 😆
I will take out the Reshade from the main game folder and see if it also helps. I will come back and post my findings and not do a drive by post and leave everyone hanging.

Just tested and was able to reproduce in the same area as SteveTheGamer but not in the city. Also experienced someone actually fleeing the traffic stop and it is completely different behavior (default sirens deactivate when initiating a traffic stop, but resume when it turns to a pursuit; a pop up appears telling the player to report the pursuit). Since I have no other plugins that eliminates number 1, and it only happening in the countryside supports theory number 2 since it is harder to find a good parking spot on the country roads.
Another possibility I just thought of is if it is triggering the flee event, but only activates the fleeing logic on the AI without disabling the traffic stop thread and starting a pursuit thread.
Just theories though, I mentioned it on our Slack so maybe at some point it can be further investigated.
-
You can add it to the .ini, yes, however I don't think that is what's happening (at least in the video reference above). The resist during a traffic stop is more specific things like the person randomly pulling a gun or getting out and charging you with a knife (if I remember correctly), not just refusing to stop without actually starting a pursuit.
From what I can tell, it could be 1 of 2 things:
1) Another plugin that affects traffic behavior interfering
2) If no other plugins, possibly something wrong with the "find a parking spot" pathing logic that LSPDFR uses
I'd be interested to see if I can reproduce this at some point and bug LMS to fix it.

That describes the gameplay of a purp in a car denying to follow your directions.
The missing blip -same as not marked as fleeing, that is a glitch, and partly why i added a blipping-option of any car in my personal plugin.
What surprises me is that you have this so often
> This issue happens probably every other traffic stop
That is strange. I think it happens 1/25 for me -quite rare, but it is an editable feature.
In ..GTAV\lspdfr has a file lspdfr.ini in that file you have the parameter
'TrafficStop.ScenarioMult Float 1.0
It "Sets the likelihood for random scenarios (i.e. suspects resisting) to happen during a traffic stop."
You could try and change the default value 1.0 to something lower.
As a general rule i never change values in ini-files without backing the orr. file up, but in this circumstance its not a must -up to you, but its a good general rule 🙂

DivineHustle got a reaction from brenden.iannetta in LSPDFR Crash During PursuitDamn I went ahead and removed it. Everything seems to be working well after three play sessions. Thanks for the help again guys!

DivineHustle reacted to brenden.iannetta in LSPDFR Crash During PursuitThis. BetterPrescence is such a cool concept but is verrrrry unstable. I had to remove mine sadly as well. Wish it worked cause I love the idea.

DivineHustle got a reaction from brenden.iannetta in LSPDFR Crash During PursuitSo I experienced another LSPDFR crash when a callout came up about "Traffic ANPR Hit" and LSPDFR crashed once that time limit expired to accept the callout. The little blue and red circle on the map remained after LSPDFR crashed. I checked the log and RPH is the 1.96. I'm thinking this may have been the Callout pack that caused it?

DivineHustle got a reaction from brenden.iannetta in LSPDFR Crash During PursuitHm yeah that was weird. I tried the installer again and it still said 1.95. I manually did it and it then said 1.96, and everything seems to be working fine so far after a couple of 1hr+ sessions. Thanks for the help man!

DivineHustle got a reaction from brenden.iannetta in LSPDFR Crash During PursuitI went ahead and updated LSPDFR, but I experienced another crash when a callout came up on the radar. I did not accept it, and LSPDFR crashed. I attached the new RPH log, I'm not sure what's causing the crash.

DivineHustle reacted to Cabinet.Duck in Appreciation for the moddersHey, just wanted to make a quick post thanking the developers of LSPDFR, RAGE Plugin Hook and ScripthookV (I know only a few might see this). Ya'll absolutely killed it.
Updating all three in a SINGLE day?? That's just... I know this is supposed to be typical, but I'm still amazed. It's gotta be a pain to rewrite so many scripts and code, so I think you deserve more open praise for it. Good f*cking job.
(PS: The patience the mods on here show for the same error messages over and over being posted or people ignoring the banners and asking why their LSPDFR isn't working after an update is incredible.)
You guys make the LSPDFR community a very approachable and reliable community for fairly complicated modding. This isn't all file drag n' drop, but the playerbase for LSPDFR is bigger than any other GTA mod, so that speaks volumes to how accessible and warming the help on the community is.

DivineHustle reacted to iMalcolm27 in [Guide] How to get rid and avoid texture pop-ups (Disappearing assets)Hey there. I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this but it seemed the best fit. Apologies if not.
So I found a way to avoid and get rid of texture pop-ups (when you look around too fast and things can't load in time with your camera movement, the map disappears, for example). I realized this had to do with my modded vehicles but didn't want to restrict myself to only download cars that COULD MAYBE NOT bug out my whole game. This can also solve EUP's issue of not being able to load the outfits or loading very slowly. This has to do with the same issue, Memory Overload.
The video guide I created was a result of what @bikinichampagne suggested (link in the description). All I did was create a system that would allow people who frequently update their police fleet for LSPDFR (as it's my case) to downscale unnecessary vehicle textures in a repetitive and quick way. I mean, who needs a 4K game-stock carbine or a 4K dirt skin? To me doesn't make sense, even in FPS patrols. With this form of downscaling, I couldn't even notice differences. Little letters were still readable and HD as seen in video.
This way you can still play with HQ models and textures... Difference is, your vehicles won't surpass the 25MB hard limit. So you get a stable gameplay without the expense of quality.
Aim for 20MB per vehicle.
It worked for me and the evidence is in the video itself (that's why its 22 mins long but has a time table so you can jump to the section you want). If it didn't work for you, you either aren't downscaling enough textures or your PC just cant handle it. Sorry, cant do miracles. You might wanna update your PC if he starts talking about Vietnam war stories. I guess GTA 5 will be too much sand for him and no downscaling in the world will save you from this.
So, all the relevant details are in the video. I guess what I'm trying here is to teach people a good practice to optimize their vehicles. Also you won't need proprietary software for any of this.
THIS WILL NOT MEAN MORE FRAMES PER SECOND. It will stabilize your game, might get rid of some stutters but this isn't a method to solve your FPS issues. Regardless, try it and luckily you can prove me wrong.

DivineHustle reacted to PNWParksFan in [REL] Coastal Callouts Discussion ThreadI've just begun working on my first callouts pack: Coastal Callouts. Currently there isn't much going on at sea in LSPDFR, and I'm working to change that. This will be a callouts series focusing on marine patrols and incidents. I'm planning to eventually have enough to make a boat-based marine patrol fun and interesting, but the callouts will also be designed so that a land-based unit could respond to a dock, grab a boat (or maybe a helicopter or something else), and then head to the scene.
Callouts will include law enforcement and SAR missions, both in the ocean and on beaches, in ports, and around the terminal and docks.
For all you modders out there, if anybody's interested in collaborating, shoot me a PM. I have some ideas already for specific sub-functionality which could be tackled by individual contributors and would make development move much quicker.
If you have suggestions, please let me know! Again, this is very early in the process, I'm still scoping out good locations for callouts and brainstorming what to put in them. So, it's a good time to make your ideas heard!
UPDATE DEC 2019: COASTAL CALLOUTS IS NOW RELEASED!
And, check out these first two Coastal Callouts episodes by @Darkmyre and @Albo1125

DivineHustle got a reaction from firedog1 in Car Flips When Turning A CornerI installed some new vehicles listed below, and I've noticed something a bit strange. Whenever, I turn a sharp corner, the car flips onto it's back and rolls down the street. It was pretty funny at first, but it's starting to irritate me. I think it has something to do with the handling files.
I have no clue how to manually modify any file, such as the handling file.
If anyone has any solution to this problem, help would be much appreciated. I'll link the vehicles below.
