in 0.5, does it only spawn a single police barrier model? could you also spawn cones, flares?

At the moment it is only the single barrier model. The cones/flares etc will be added later on.

I get this error everytime I try to call a tow truck in 0.5:

Can you give me more information such as other mods you're using and what you're doing in game when you call it etc.

Again, as I've said to others, not a single one of these issues arose during testing so I need to know more about it.

The scenario everytime the error occured has been that I have stopped a vehicle, and for one reason or another I chose to arrest the driver. I call for a prison transport and wait until they have taken the driver away. Then I want to get rid of his/her car and call the tow truck. This is when the error happens and Callouts+ shuts down.

Right, no modified vehicles or anything like that? Are you standing close to the vehicle you want removing?

 

Also I would suggest trying without the other scripts to see if it's an interference.

Only one modified vehicle, an umarked police car (Chevrolet Impala, FIB Buffalo).

 

I stand next to the vehicle I try to remove. I will try without the other scripts and see if it works.

Edit: I tried again without the other scripts and still got the same error so no interference there.

Haven't tried without the car mod, not trying to tow a police car so I'm not sure if removing it will make any difference? As far as I know everything is up to date, are there any specific files needed for Callouts+? LCPDFR 1.0C runs perfectly and Callout+ runs inside LCPDFR right?

Car mods can have odd effects on script mods believe it or not.

 

That's correct yes.

 

Can you try standing in the middle of nowhere and calling a tow truck (if it works you should get a message saying there is no car there)

B-E-A-Utiful. That means the safety catch is working as expected.

 

Ok, try calling the tow truck in for some random cars (ones parked at the side of the street). again, be really sure you're stood right next to the car.

Confirmed it works perfectly my end with the download version rather than the development build I use.

Without the custom police vehicle it seems to work much better. I get a lot "no drivers available" but sometimes the tow truck actually shows up. Both good and bad at the same time, I love that police car but I need the tow truck as well :tongue:

Can you post a screenshot of your GTA IV directory for me please as well as your full LCPDFR.log, AdvancedHook.txt, and ScriptHookdotNet.txt files. (if when replying you click "More Reply Options" you get the attachment option at the bottom)

This may or may not help, but I would try changing the 'PreloadAllModels' line in LCPDFR.ini from False to True.

This may also help but requires more resources ^

Sure thing. I didn't have any AdvancedHook.txt or ScriptHookdotNet.txt, no *.txt only *.log that is. Screenshots I'm not sure how to give you.

Thanks, I'll go through my code with a fine tooth comb and see if there is anything which might be causing this.

 

HI, i have a problem:

 

The script runs well, but when i receive the vehicle broken down call, LCPDFR says that a third party script has been shut down and the call stop working. Happens the same when i use the feature to remove a vehicle, any idea?

No, no idea at all. Did you read the readme? The bit at the bottom where it says to post your lcpdfr.log file? I guess not.

Seriously, I can't help you unless you attach the lcpdfr.log file. That logs all the errors, without it I can't possibly know what is going wrong for you.
