Unfortunately, something still goes wrong.

I'm using 1.0c hotfix and I downloaded 0.3.1a version of these callouts but I still have some problems.

 

Usually, after some time when I recive a call to stop cars which are taking part in street race, there is information about "third plugin" and game crashes at once.

When I recive a call to broken vehicle, after some time the game stops and I have to restart game.

 

I haven't had any other calls to some incidents because usually the game had crashed earlier. 

 

Anyway, without these callouts everything works fine and I don't notice any problems.

Unfortunately, something still goes wrong.

Please, give me some time. I'll install it again and play a bit, than I'll give you it.

Hi Luke,

this message about disabling a third party addon appears on all mods using the old LCPDFR API so far. I had to uninstall them all. Looks like the new 1.0c API has some breaking changes.

0.4 is being built on the 1.0c API and has not produced this error for me during testing yet. So I can safely say at this moment in time that 0.4 will be ok. 

Nonetheless thanks for letting me know, I will update the bug list.

0.4? When have you released that? I visited the download page of your mod just about 30 minutes ago and there was no 0.4 but thanks for letting me know. Going to download now. :)

 

Re-read what I just said and think about the context :)

 

0.4 is not yet released, it is currently being built. I'm in the testing phase of all previous features to ensure I've ironed out the bugs and am implementing a new feature which I posted a video about a few posts back.

You'll know when 0.4 is released because I will make it glaringly obvious with a "new update" post. :)

Well, I installed callouts once again. I was playing a few hours and I haven't noticed any problems with game.

Once, my game switched off when I was playing.

I also meet some announcement that LCPDFR has got some problems - it's probably because of these callouts because when I uninstalled them, everything was fine.

 

I'll try to play a few hours.

If I meet some crashes, I will write about it here.

Just downloaded your script, Ineseri mentioned it in my thread. I'm having a problem with calling a medic. I've incapacitated a few peds, shooting them or by beating them up and when I call for a medic, he shows up but he gets out of the ambulance, says that there isn't an injured ped, get back in ambulance, then gets out and walks off.

 

I've tested this 5-6 times and it's happened every time. Is this feature only compatible for callouts?

The feature is compatible with any ped loaded into the game, regardless of what script owns it.

That's right, 0.4a is now officially released!

Notes:

 

The garages feature is in its infancy and so at the moment only 3 police stations have garages. Those garages do have map markers visible, they are located here:

I will hopefully get round the other police stations however, not all of them have garages. This means some of the stations may not get a repair blip at all. Some of the stations that do have garages have a car spawn outside it blocking the way and so again I cannot really put a blip there. Any suggestions on this would be appreciated as it is a new feature I hope to develop.

I have two things to report.

1. I called for a vehicle removal but the cop car got spawned in the water. There is no timeout, no automatic respawning and no possibility to dismiss in such a case.

 

2. Your mod crashes LCPDFR when the removal team arrives and a cop gets out of the car to take over the one I called for. I tried twice and it happened both times. Here is the log:

You cannot modify an enumeration within a foreach loop if the same collection is used for enumerating the loop.

1) I clearly tell it not to spawn anywhere other than on a solid road where normal AI spawns. So if it's "spawning" in the water like you said, you've caused that issue yourself, or the AI has decided to drive off a bridge for some reason. I can't "fix" the spawn if it isn't faulting.

 

2) That issue, you may notice, is nothing to do with my actual script and the issue lies deeper in the API. However I know already what is causing it and have patched it, hotfix will be applied to the download now. Thank you for pointing it out.
