Hi,

Just sit in any car, press Shift+I (call tow truck) and watch what happens.

You can easily fix this by rejecting the call if it's the current player vehicle.

if(ReferenceEquals(_vehicle, Player.Character.CurrentVehicle))
   return;

Hi,

I really wish you would test your mod more thoroughly. Just sit in any car, press Shift+I (call tow truck) and watch what happens.

Hi,

If you wanted to report an issue, you could have just said "hi I found a problem with the tow truck..."

For a matter of fact, this mod goes through sufficient testing by myself AND other forum members who have access to the developer builds. I spend more time during my day fixing bugs and trying to improve stability than any other task in my life. So don't feel like I am neglecting this mod for the sake of a quick release.

If you wish to complain about the way I work, you can PM me about it.

I will rectify the issue ready for the next release.

PS. Please stop treating me like an idiot. I know how to fix this, I wrote the plugin, remember?

You are very easily offended. Look again, I have taken out that part which offended you about 10 minutes before your reply.

How can this mod went through sufficient testing when you missed a bug that's so easy to find? That's a contradiction because apparently it was insufficient, even more when I look at all the other error reports.

I don't treat you like an idiot but when I see that someone can't do something easy like this right I try to help.

You may have noticed the word "beta" in the version number. There will be bugs. Not every bug is going to be found by a limited testing team that is only testing in their spare time, and a developer that has little-to-no incentive to make a perfect mod. Nobody is getting paid for this mod to be made, and you are not paying to use it.

Plus the bug you found isn't something people are looking for...why would anyone be calling a tow truck for the car they are in?

I'm sure Luke is appreciative of the help, but I can see how he might be offended by the way you presented it.

From reading previous post,

Hi, I've found a problem with one of the callouts (pretty sure it's rare because I'm the only one I've seen with the problem.).

It seems to be whenever I accept a street race callout, I get an error. This is the log.

[ERROR - 9:58:57 PM] [script.CalloutManager] Error while processing callout: Race: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.   at CalloutsPlus.Callouts.Races.Process()
   at h0.Process()
[ERROR - 9:58:57 PM] [script.Race] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
   at CalloutsPlus.Callouts.Races.Process()
   at h0.Process()
[ERROR - 9:58:57 PM] [ExceptionHandler]  CalloutsPlus.Callouts.Races.Process() L_0009
 h0.Process() L_022e
Error hash: AF5A845CB55B2B1E094B29B437BF57455601B0D3

If this is on my end, is there any way to fix this error?

I can't believe some people are so rude to you when they didn't even pay you a dime for the mod.... Anyway, I have a little glitch that occurred during the "Officer Down" callout.

Attached below is my LCPDFR log. Note, I uninstalled The Wasteland 0.7.0, so all of the stuff up top is from that plugin. I just recently (yesterday) re-installed Callouts+, so the logs for this will be found at the bottom.

When I arrived and pressed "E", my character went into the "Revive" animation correctly and the Officer gave me a description. The problem is, I got about 30 "LCPDFR" Error Messages ha ha, I had to mute my PC for a second there. I'm not sure what caused this, but I'm hopeful you'll know what it could be.

Thanks LukeD for an AMAZING CALLOUT MOD!!!!!!!!!!

No, I'm not easily offended. Take a look at every other bug/error report in this thread..."Hi I found a problem with ____" or "Hi, I keep getting this error with ____" not a single one starts off with the level of comment I get from you and you alone.

And yes you did edit your post, while I was midway through replying to your post initially. But that is not the issue, there was absolutely no need to post it in the first place.

And sorry that I am not the perfect developer with ridiculous funding capable of employing thousands of testers. I'm sorry that while I was busy dealing with the game breaking errors that were reported, I missed the worlds smallest problem. What I am not sorry for is responding negatively towards you. You have some kind of instinctive hate towards me, fine, I don't mind. If you have issues, like I said. PM me about it.

If you want some friendly advice, think about what you're saying before saying it. That way we don't start this issue up for a third time.

You'll get no further comments regarding this issue from me on this thread.

Well I'm glad to know you've already worked hard and resolved my above mentioned issue. I'm not sure how many of them you've resolved, maybe all. But in case you haven't resolved the second one I ran into, I'll gladly post my logs if necessary. I had the same error message, but this was with a different callout. It was the "Broken Down Vehicle on the Highway" call. Again, if you have already fixed this, or at least are aware of it, no big deal. But if you need my logs feel free to ask. Thanks LukeD.

PS..... I haven't gotten the "Murder" callout yet, was this removed? Or is it just a rare type of call?

Post your log anyway so I can take a look and see.

Murder callout is just rare, it's done on purpose because people don't get murdered as often as a car gets stolen. (at least not in the UK)

If both plugins have been started correctly with no errors then there is nothing I can do to help you with this. LCPDFR randomly selects the callouts internally. An LCPDFR API plugin like Callouts+ and wouters have all it's callouts added to the list to be randomly selected. So I can't do anything about that sorry.

@admissivecomic: open the game console with [~] button and type: "startcallout test". The command should start a callout "test" but since there's no such - it'll pick a random one. Thanks to this method you won't need to wait for a call to appear, sending the command repeatedly will let you check if there's a real problem or you had bad luck.

Post your log anyway so I can take a look and see.

Alrighty then. I finally got the murder callout by the way :)

 Just like last time, the error will be close to the bottom. Thank you again, and try to take some time for yourself. Perhaps a nice vacation (holiday). I know the amount of comments both good and bad can take a toll on you.

I have some Idea !!

The optione to accept missions like:

- Observe a Person and find out with other Persons he has a Meeting (taking Pictures)  or see a  Drug-Deal by the way and make Pictures as a Evidence.

- Be part of a raid in a House and collect the Evidence (sometimes with shooting and sometimes not)

- Have a meeting with a Informant and get infromations as much as possible

- protect a informant for a little time (or escort him to the airport)

I have some Problems...

I can´t repair a broken down by pressing E

I have a Error when the Tow car bring the car away

When i get to the traffic crash  an pressing shift+Z to look for the injured than a traffic cone appears and a officer falling down.  when i press shift U ... a barrier appears and a Officer but after that i cant do that again.  ( normaly it works but when i rebuild the barriers, i saw a motorcycle for short time )

How i can add my LCPDFR Log for you in this post ? To show you the error messages....

Thanks

But the other things ar AWESOME !! :yes:
