+1 for xaPKPax! The LCPDFR legend!

  • It's always been LCPDFR.  I don't really know where the colon came from actually, lots of people just started putting it like that.  I guess adding the colon makes more sense, but I prefer it without.

  • I was trying to find a game I played as a child, googled "playstation 1 police game", couldn't find anything back then. I went to youtube after that and searched the exact same thing and some how foun

Well, somehow I stumpled up on an LCPD:FR video by gangrenn, and I was fascinated, but at that point I had a computer that couldn't handle GTA at all, so I had to wait 1 year to get a better graphics card.

Really laggy, but at least I could play it. Was really happy then.

I found out about LCPDFR when I downloaded and installed Simple Native Trainer V6.4. I used the various vehicle options in it, taking light bars on/off etc. Additionally I found an earlier version of Kit's female police mod. I found a couple of modded police vehicles, and one thing led to another and here I am today.

Cheers.

I was looking around Youtube and came across a GTA IV video with that old Policing mod that was really bad (I forgot the name) and there were modded cars. I didn't know the game at the time so I looked it up and it seemed pretty cool. I begged for the game and eventually got it. I watched more and more policing videos until someone mentioned "a better mod" in the description, LCPDFR. I did further research and eventually got into modding without even playing the vanilla game on the PC (I had already finished the game on Xbox). I remember it all...my first car pack was the Ontario Pack and my first police mod was that old policing mod and probably a day later, LCPDFR.

I think I watched a random video on youtube, but saw it was for PC and so I never bothered. (I was a console guy for years, I didn't want to spend that much on a PC)

I then subscribed to SpiersTheAmazing and he did a LOT of LCPDFR videos. That made me want to play the game so bad. I saved up my money and bought a PC. I also watched BayAreaBugs for some serious gameplay (ish lol). I'm pretty sure I also watched Carrythxd as well.

I'm pretty sure this is one of the first videos I ever watched.

OH MY GOD. I REMEMBER THAT GAME lol. I used to play it all the time. I remember coming home from like 5th and 6th grade and my mom let me watch "Transformers" and "Worlds Wildest Police Videos" after school if I promised to have my homework done by dinner. That's so great. They were making another one for the PS2, but they canceled it. I probably beat that game like a billion times.

I remember playing SWAT: Global Strike Team for the PS2 long ago. Terrible game, but it was fun as a kid.

I was looking at british police car mods and found Double Dopplers's channel. Thus finding british police cars and LCPDFR.

I saw Youtube videos on people being police officers. I thought it was part of the game, back then when I was a noob and didn't understand modding that well. People were posting links in the description, leading to GPM. About a month later, someone posted a forum talking about a fire truck model, and said that it is also being posted on LCPD:FR. So I checked out LCPD:FR and liked it more than GPM. More active and more organised.

I found out about LCPDFR from the Legendary NBVideoGameVids, or NicolaiB I don't remember how I came across his videos but I watched them for a long time, Back in 2011 I  came home from school got a snack and sat down and watched NB play LCPDFR. And I still watch his videos till this day. Now he's gotten me into SpinTires!
