  1. No, I don't think so. I usually just arrest them.
  2. Try changing it to something besides B, I just tested it in my game and those ini lines should work fine.
  3. That would need an animation, of which there is not. Unless there's a general "player moves arm while driving" animation...it would hardly be noticeable. Edit: I guess the changing radio station animation could work for that...but like I said, hardly noticeable. Also, MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to LCPDFR Suggestions. 4. Posting in this forum will not increase your post count. ^ says that in the forum description
  5. MODERATOR NOTICE Thread moved to GTA IV Development Suggestions and Requests. Please read the "Showroom Style Forums" announcement before posting in the showroom forums: https://www.lcpdfr.com/forum-792/announcement-11-showroom-style-forums/
  6. Yeah, that makes sense, and is what I figured the problem was after an hour of trying to get it to work in Noose.
  7. I noticed that too, and it doesn't work in every vehicle slot. I tried putting a DROT car in NOOSE and it didn't work, but it works fine in POLICE. Regardless, it looks really nice when it does work.
  8. Setting up a roadblock is defaulted to CTRL-B and backup is ALT-B, make sure you are not pressing both at the same time. If there is still an issue, open LCPDFR.ini and find these settings in the [Keybindings] section and change it whatever free keys you want: CheckpointControlStart=B CheckpointControlStartModifierKey=ControlKey If they do not exist, create them in the [Keybindings] section and set the controls.
  9. I love the DROT feature of ELS so I would have to go with that on LCPD cars. SAHP cars work too, but this isn't SA :P
  10. My birthday present to you is that I installed a couple of your non-ELS vehicles to try to make my game more stable. Happy birthday!
  11. Well they did have a fire to put out, so at least the saying "where's the fire?!" doesn't work here.
  12. You can try this: DisableRandomPoliceChatter=True in the [Main] section of the LCPDFR ini.
  13. Will posted a gallery image in GTA IV Galleries
  14. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Development Suggestions & Requests. The LCPDFR Suggestions forum is for suggestions regarding the LCPDFR modification only.
  15. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Development Tutorials & Questions. Please read the Showroom Style Forums announcement and the pinned >About this section topic before posting in the showroom forums.
  16. _SLOTCONTROL.ini in the ELS folder controls what vehicles have ELS enabled on them.
  17. A Notary Public is someone who observes you signing a document, and verifies that it is actually you signing it (among other things, but this is why you would need one in this case). You must show them ID and they will stamp the document you are signing. I went to my bank when I needed a notary, so check there. Edit: DO NOT sign it if you need a notary. They must watch you sign.
  18. Unfortunately, Tusken Raiders captured Tom while he was picking vaporator mushrooms. (Star Wars reference for whoever doesn't get it)
  19. Since you were stopped and the truck looked to be off, ETS was making it very hard to turn the steering wheel because there would be no power steering in the truck. It was giving as much resistance as possible, causing it to make those sounds. If it does it while you're driving then turn down the force feedback settings, specifically the one for the engine since that causes a lot of feedback (assuming they haven't changed the settings in recent updates, I haven't checked), and isn't realistic in my opinion.
  20. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests since this isn't regarding the LCPDFR modification itself, which is what the LCPDFR Support forum is for. I'm guessing it's the same error as this? '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Try the solution posted there and post back here if you still have problems.
  21. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support requests since this is not regarding the LCPDFR modification itself, which is what the LCPDFR Support forum is for.
  22. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests. The LCPDFR Support section is for support regarding the LCPDFR modification itself. Are you trying to play multiplayer? ELS will act differently in MP than is does in singleplayer.
  23. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests. Vehicle Modifications is a showroom style forum dedicated to showing off WIP or released vehicle modifications. Please read the Showroom Style Forums Announcement or the pinned >About This Section topic before posting in the showroom forums .
  24. I don't think they like the new section :(
