LCPDFR 2.0 shouldn't exist. The work should go towards GTA V.

No, that isn't a good idea because there are many people in this community that would prefer to have it off. That is why it is optional. For them to do that would be quite ridiculous.

  • How is ELS V8 not realistic enough? The door glitching and god-mode bugs were fixed, so why the need for more realism? Referring to idea #7.

8.HardCore Mode Always Being On For Realisim

Well, to go with your list.

1. This can simply be made by fiddling with the WeaponInfo file.

2. What i see it is realistic enough.

3. If you don't know, trainer can do this, but not a bad idea.

4. Taser seems high quality enough, don't want game glitching.

5. This would be hard as there are no animations i know of for this.

6. This can be done using one of Braveheart's scripts.(I forget which)

7. ELS is not a part of LCPDFR, this is an independent mod itself.

8. Not a lot of people would like that, and what is so bad about changing false to true in the .ini?

9. Again, WeaponInfo.

10. Don't see what is wrong with the indicator script itself. No need for this.

  • Management Team

That would need an animation, of which there is not. Unless there's a general "player moves arm while driving" animation...it would hardly be noticeable. Edit: I guess the changing radio station animation could work for that...but like I said, hardly noticeable.

"Work and ideas get stolen, then you keep moving on doing your thing."

1.) During traffic stops, vehicles pull over to the right ALL of the time

2.) Be able to do a vehicle search

3.) A better variety of callouts (and more realistic) without having to use plugins that will crash/make the game slow (medical alarms, other medical calls, house/building alarms, aggressive driving, disputes-more argumentative than physical, different MVAs-3 car, 2 car, 1 vehicle hit something like a lamppost or tree, some having injuries, others may not have any injuries, rarely death...)

4.) Officers directing/blocking off a lane of traffic when needed

5.) Being able to call for an additional unit on a traffic stop and officers in a police car neatly and realistically pulling up behind you with their lights on, getting out and walking over and staying with the vehicle while you are running their info on the police computer and/or just hanging out by the pulled over car like a real officer would do on a routine traffic stop

6.) Being able to pull over more than one vehicle

7.) Having more citation amounts that would be more realistic based off of the offense

8.) When you run someone's info on the police computer and it says "Times Stopped" and "Citations", have reasons for each one (Times Stopped: 2, Failed to use directional, aggressive driving. Citations: 2, Tailgating, speeding)

9.) Have the list of all callouts in the lcpdfr.ini file and a value next to them; the lower the value the less likely you are to have that callout, the higher the value the more likely you are to have that callout

10.) In the lcpdfr.ini file, under pursuits, be able to control how often you have vehicle pursuits when pulling over a vehicle (same concept as #9)

I'm not implying that LCPDFR 1.0 isn't good, it really is great and this mod has definitely come a long way, but these suggestions can and would make LCPDFR a more realistic mod. And when GTA V comes out on PC, the ideas/procedures could be the same.

1. Community willing to make use of API and SHDN so we have every feature that GTA IV allows to create including traffic stop backup, tens of new callouts (reallistic and Rambo-like) dispatched from specific precincts in the area defined by player, full vehicle search mode, "paperwork" system etc.

The "Shameless" Youtube advertisement..

anyways lets get serious about this..

#1,9, and 10 are things people can do themselves if they really want it that bad (which most people have anyway)

#5, and 7 are Impossible due to game physics and logic

#4 there is already an HD Tazer Model what ever happened to don't fix what ain't broke?

#6 Doesn't make sense to me, can you elaborate? "Take a Job a Traffic Officer"?? huh?

#3 there's already a mod for that its available on LCPDFR called the ALM mod

#2 is a good idea i suppose, though isn't how it is effective enough?

and #8 has already been responded to and i agree with them, it should stay as an option just like the additional mods should be as well

I Would rather see a LSPDFR on GTA V than a 2.0 for LCPDFR.. I personally haven't played LCPDFR in awhile because GTA4 is a boring game (among other reasons)

yeah exactly ! eventhough I use hardcore, I think more options which you can choose from is better in all cases ! In my opinion even rockstars should have made more versions of car handling/damage like in Mafia 2 for instance (you could have chosen between arcade/simulator driving there) ... People will always complain about driving for instance ... for some guys GTA IV was terrible and hard to control, for others GTA V is way to arcadeish ( and I personally hate it) , so I think it would be awesome if rockstars would actually make two versions you could choose from - simulator/arcade ...

5.Being Able To Tackle / Throw People On The Hood Of Your Car

Animations for cuffed on a car hood and on the ground, and hands behind head on the ground do exist in the game, so it would be hard to script but plausible.

Heres my ideas for LSPDFR or SAPDFR as that is what we should be thining of

1. New callouts - Search for an escaped convict, stop a stolen sportscar, drug busts, jumpers, etc.

2. Larger emphasis on foot chases

3. Improved police computer (Improved search feature, backup function, etc.

4. Whatever else G17 can think of

Causing Chaos since 2006
