  1. It has a story, it was there in the beta.
  2. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests since this isn't related to the functionality of the LCPDFR modification.
  3. Follow these instructions to fully uninstall LCPDFR .95: https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-uninstall-lcpdfr-095-r19 If you have already installed LCPDFR 1.0, you will have to reinstall it after uninstalling .95
  4. Then you didn't fully uninstall .95 when you installed 1.0c, like the instructions tell you to do.
  5. Use >LCPDFR 1.0c, which has full controller support. What you are seeing there is the LCPDFR computer. You repair the car using a trainer, or by pressing ~ then typing heal
  6. In the future, use spoiler tags if you are posting log files like that: There are some errors that I'm not familiar with. You can try the solutions in >this topic, >this topic, and the ones that that were presented to you in the troubleshooter that you should have read before posting here.
  7. The logs don't explain anything. It's probably GTA crashing because of modding. If you use ELS, you can try disabling these by changing them to off: Ai_Els_Sp = on Ai_Els_Mp = on
  8. Yes, you use Left Alt to aim at the car, while holding left alt open the quick action menu (caps lock) to tell them to go or stay.
  9. Everything should be working, are you sure you are pressing Left Alt - P? If yes, follow the simple solutions in ineseri's post.
  10. Open your LCPDFR.ini file, find the line “PreloadAllModels = False” and change the value to “True”.
  11. As of 1.0c, you can do this with LCPDFR. From the download page: You can now set up a checkpoint on any road by using CTRL + B by default. This will allow you to stop and wave through passing traffic using the Quick Action Menu and aiming marker (Left ALT)
  12. I don't think anything can be done to fix that that, just restart the game. It doesn't happen every time you try to arrest someone, right?
  13. Determines whether or not ELS will animate AI vehicles in single player (Sp) and multiplayer(Mp).
  14. 1) The crashing you are experiencing is most likely a result of modding GTA IV. When you install multiple modified vehicles, especially ELS activated ones, you will start to experience random crashes. The only way to fix this is use non-ELS cars, which are much more stable. I've also seen people say that disabling ELS for the AI will help with the crashing, which you do by opening ELS.ini and changing these to off: Ai_Els_Sp = on Ai_Els_Mp = on 2) Is AdvancedHookInit.asi in your main GTA IV folder, and is there an LCPDFR folder in the "pc" folder? Or did you follow >these instructions on how to manually install the taser? 3) You need a traffic loading script, such as >Traffic Flow.
  15. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests. The Development Tutorials & Questions section is for asking for help regarding developing a modification. I would suggest using the >latest version of LCPDFR, 1.0c. Does it crash when you spawn every vehicle?
  16. Open your LCPDFR.ini file, find the line “PreloadAllModels = False” and change the value to “True”.
  17. Please post your logs, including AdvancedHook.log, LCPDFR.log, and ScriptHookDotNet.log
  18. Open your LCPDFR.ini file, find the line “PreloadAllModels = False” and change the value to “True”.

  20. Start from scratch. Install one mod at a time and make sure each works before installing another.
  21. Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR. You failed to read the instructions before posting in this forum. So we'll remind you of them. Please do the following: Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post. If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following: Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State what solutions you have tried. Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Include as much information as possible. 22. That's most likely Traffic Flow (assuming you are using it), change the value in trafficflow.ini after "ChanceOfRandomDispatch"
  23. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests.
  24. It seems they skipped it in the ELS 7 manual, but the ELS 8 manual has them. They should work for any version, though, I think I even used the mouse buttons on ELS 6.
  25. MODERATOR NOTICE Thread moved to GTA IV Development Suggestions and Requests. Please read the "Showroom Style Forums" announcement before posting in the showroom forums: https://www.lcpdfr.com/forum-792/announcement-11-showroom-style-forums/
