  1. The link is to that video in a playlist, get rid of the playlist part and it will embed (just leave everything in the URL before "&").
  2. Yup, that's supposed to happen. It's a new technique the police use.
  3. No, but you can go to the audio folder and fix it by copying other files and naming them as the streets that are missing. Go to this directory in your GTA IV folder: lcpdfrAudioPoliceScannerStreets Make a copy of one of those files and rename it to whatever you are missing, i.e. make a copy of ACTER_CANAL.wav and rename it to BROWN_PLACE.wav. Like I said, the audio most likely isn't the issue, but you can try that to see if it fixes it.
  4. Are you continuing to aim at them while using the menu? You have to keep aiming.
  5. For anyone here who is looking forward to The Crew, and wants to try it out now, there's another beta going on until August 29th. Here's three keys for it:

  7. You can disable random police chatter in LCPDFR.ini with this setting: DisableRandomPoliceChatter=true I don't think this disables the police radio in pursuits, though.
  8. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to LCPDFR Media. General & Misc. Discussion is for topics that do not belong in any other forum section.
  9. It would be more helpful if you said what solutions you have already tried.
  10. Just because they are the last lines in the log file doesn't mean they are causing the crashes. If you look at the time stamps: [iNFO - 02:05:17] [updateCheck] DoUpdateCheck: No updates available This is done as soon as you start LCPDFR. [WARNING - 02:05:37] [AudioDatabase] GetAudioFileForAction: No file found for: FELDSPAR_ST This happened 20 seconds later. You said the game crashes after 10 minutes, not 20 seconds. If you have ANY other mods, try playing without them. GTA IV gets less stable with more mods.
  11. Type help into it and it will list all the commands. Use Page Up and Down to scroll through.
  12. Rockstar actually has given consent to make videos of their games, back when all the gameplay copyright stuff was going on. So really, there is no need to ask permission because they already gave it. https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200153756-Policy-on-posting-copyrighted-Rockstar-Games-material
  13. Left Alt-P starts the mod, not ctrl-P.
  14. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Development Tutorials & Questions. The LCPDFR Development section is for questions about developing mods using the LCPDFR 1.0 API.
  15. You already have a support topic >here, if you have more information on the problem then add it to that post. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  16. Is dsound.dll and xlive.dll in your main GTA IV folder? If so, delete one of them. Use this download to update your game to 1.0.7.0
  17. Try using dsound instead of xlive as your asi loader.
  18. Every other year, I believe. 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015. I think there was a 2012 and 2014, but they were only mobile games.
  19. Toggle means to switch on and off, if lethal force is currently authorized, it will be unauthorized. Lethal force is automatically authorized if the suspects acts violently, ie running over or shooting the police.
  20. Sam could buy something better than a DeadBookTM.
  21. You can press F8 while in pursuit and use the arrow keys and enter to navigate the menu that pops up. One of the options that is available is Toggle Lethal Force
  22. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving from LCPDFR Discussion to Computers & Technology
  23. You might not be getting callouts because the default value in the ini for the maximum time between calls is 5000 seconds, the equivalent of 83.3 minutes. Change it to a lower number and you should get callouts more often. Also make sure you are not busy, which is toggled with F7.
  24. Huh, nice. I live about half an hour from Fishkill.
