What mod should I make first?

Hi guys,

I need your help. I have a few ideas for my next mod/pack, but I don't know which one I should make first.

NOOSE Pack would feature Vapid Stanier, Vapid Interceptor, Granger, Landstalker, both Buffaloes and an Enforcer and maybe the Vapid Radius (Ford Police Interceptor SUV) I have the skins almost done (thanks DLer!), but so far I have only made the Stanier (check my Skins album in gallery, it should be somewhere there).

LCPD Pack ELS DROT - I would simply make DROT variants of all the cars in my LCPD pack and either make a new download or add it to the pack. I already have the light bar done and working.

SAHP Packs - Buffaloes, Stanier and the Radius. With either LED Freedom bars or DROT Brute light bars. Just like my non-ELS ones, but ELS!

If you have any other ideas, let me know!

Also, due to school being an absolute pain in the ass (wake up at 5:45, school starts at 7:30, ends at 15:45, be back home around 18, do home work, sleep, wake up, repeat) I will only be able to do any modding during weekends, so don't expect any mods coming out soon. They will come eventually, but not soon.

I love the DROT feature of ELS so I would have to go with that on LCPD cars. SAHP cars work too, but this isn't SA :P

DROT is the rotating function that is a feature of ELSv8. It simulates rotating halogen lights.

 

I'm all for DROT anything, so the SAHP one gets my vote. You can always change textures later.

I say SAHP ELS. DROT's nice and all, but SAHP is fewer models which means less work for the modeller, and DORT is a bit jerky on my game (and sometimes does not like to work after I step out of my car)

I noticed that too, and it doesn't work in every vehicle slot. I tried putting a DROT car in NOOSE and it didn't work, but it works fine in POLICE. Regardless, it looks really nice when it does work.

It doesn't work because the sirens in NOOSE, NSTOCKADE, FBI and PSTOCKADE don't rotate - they're LED lightbars (with exception to FBI) and contain no rotators.

It will only work in AMBULANCE, POLICE, POLICE2 and FIRETRUK.

I'm almost positive that the lights stop because you "turn the car off" even though the car lights are still on. Try leaving your car running. I rarely have issues anymore with it stopping.

 

Also, DROT only works in Police, Police2, Police3, Ambulance and Firetruck slots. Any car that has actual rotating lights (default vehicle wise)

Yeah, that makes sense, and is what I figured the problem was after an hour of trying to get it to work in Noose.

I've found that if you hold 'W' as you exiting they say on around 90% of the time, giving this was done on EFLC - TBoGT though

@0taku, it is impossible - game engine limitations. The only slots in which it will work are Police, Police2, Police3, Ambulance and Firetruk, as said before. Still, I am going to make all the models from my pack DROT.

Shame..oh well theyll still look nice and I do play on EFLC so I do have Police3 I could use...
