ELS V8

My game is running fine and has no crashes for the most part, but when I use ELS 8 something very strange happens. I can spawn any ELS car and it will automatically have a few lights on. They will not be moving in a pattern like if they were truly on just on. There is no way to get them off or to turn any other lights on. You push the siren and it will come on. I've searched forum after forum post to try and find something, but I've not been able to come up with anything. LCPDFR .95 is NOT installed as I do not use it enough in clan patrols, but even when it was installed I had the same problem. ELS 8 has worked in the past so I'm not sure what to do. All attempts are on a clean install of GTA IV and using windows 8 and 8.1. It has worked before, but now for some reason unknown to me it decides not to. Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this?

Moving to GTA IV Support Requests. The LCPDFR Support section is for support regarding the LCPDFR modification itself.

Are you trying to play multiplayer? ELS will act differently in MP than is does in singleplayer.

Okay I tried what you said, but sadly that did not work.

This is what I have tried. All of this is with ELS 7 all ready installed.

The els.ini from ELS 8 by itself.

The els.ini and .asi together from ELS 8 and nothing else.

The els.ini and .asi and the ELS folder from ELS 8 with no sucess.

I've even tried using a friends directory that he knows ELS 8 works in and that didn't work either.

I've tried LCPDFRs ELS download thinking maybe my clans ELS 8 file was corrupted or something and that didn't work either.

I've mixed and matched files from this and that with no luck.

Even after all of that I can throw ELS 7 back in and it works like a charm lol. It just blows my mind.
