  1. Type forcecallout calloutname. I don't know the callout names, but if you type something invalid it will force a random callout. You can't end a callout until the suspect is dead or arrested. After that, you press Alt-E. If you are using a plugin, refer to that plugin's readme or ini file for any specific keys.
  2. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Support Requests. The LCPDFR Support forum is for support regarding the LCPDFR modification itself. You have to use SparkIV or OpenIV to replace cars. Here is a tutorial.
  3. I'm guessing you downloaded the automatic install that includes an advertisement. Use the alternative installer if you are not comfortable with this. Also, this: Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff as it has been posted in the wrong forum section. This forum is not for LCPDFR support requests. Please post your topic in the LCPDFR Support Forum instead, following the clearly presented instructions there. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  4. n? I'll need more to go on than "n." If it still isn't working then I don't know where to go from here. It still seems to be a dependency issue. Just try completely reinstalling LCPDFR from scratch using the manual installation.
  5. You need to edit the Vehicle Configuration File (VCF) for that vehicle. The letter represents what type of lights are being used, according to the VCF (i.e. LEDS, Halogens, Strobes, etc.). Read the ELS User Guide for an in-depth explanation of the VCF.
  6. Try installing this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=5555, 32 bit (x86) version. If there is still the problem after installing that, then try uninstalling the 64 bit version of the 2010 C++ Redistributable.
  7. Are there AdvancedHook and AdvancedHookInit log files? If there is, then post them. If not, it is probably still a dependency issue. Also make sure the game is being run as an administrator and the GTA IV folder is not set to Read Only.
  8. Well at least ScriptHookDotNet is loading now. If there is the Loader.loader error, then there should be a LCPDFR log now.
  9. Make sure he has the ScriptHookDotNet depedencies installed: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
  10. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Development Tutorials & Questions. The LCPDFR Development section is for discussing the development of mods using the LCPDFR 1.0 API. Please read the forum descriptions located on the top of the section before posting to make sure you are posting in the correct section.
  11. There's really no need for a dedicated sound card or network adapter, those are built into the motherboard. Quality shouldn't be much different.
  12. Your build doesn't have a hard drive, 120 GB on an SSD isn't going to get you far. That GPU isn't exactly built for gaming, it's a GT. The GTX series is for gaming. I highly doubt it will run any modern, graphic intensive game on ultra high settings.
  13. Also, asilog is the xlive.dll log. Make sure you don't have both dsound and xlive in your directory, you need only one.
  14. Uninstall the 64 bit version of Microsoft C++ Redistributable and see if it works.
  15. Use >Indicator Script
  16. You have to use the ScriptHook that comes with LCPDFR. Even if you have all of the dependencies installed, try downloading and installing them anyway. The only issue I can think of is not having all of the dependencies. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653
  17. Some models that are not optimized for ELS v8 will have this problem. Try using different vehicles.
  18. I think this is as classic as it gets...
  19. Funny, I JUST finished watching an episode of Emergency! on Netflix...
  20. Oh God, don't tell me this is another DayZ
  21. An example of this would be my school's general education requirements. There are no specific classes required, just subjects that you need to have covered in order to graduate. These classes are usually taken in the first 2 years of attending, and you focus on your major(s)/minor(s) the last 2 years. It depends on the professor. In my experience, the professors always post the powerpoints online so there is no need to copy everything down. It's actually best to print the slides before class if they are available and write notes on them based on what the professor says, or bring a laptop if you are allowed (some professors might not allow technology) and have the powerpoint open on it. I don't personally do this, but I'm sure it would be helpful. Some professors will have all of the assignments and the dates they are due on the syllabus, but others might say or post them throughout the semester. With homeworks, everything has been online so we are always responsible for making sure it is submitted before the due date/time. This semester is actually the first time I've had written homework due at the beginning of class. The due dates are all written out on the syllabus.
  22. We call universities colleges and colleges colleges. They are different, colleges generally being 2 year schools and universities being 4 (or more) year, but we call pretty much any education after high school "college." I've never taken any type of geography class, in college or high school.
  23. Hold down Caps Lock and use your mouse to select an option.

  25. Actually it's about their bottom line. Customer satisfaction ties into that, but not if everyone is going to buy their product anyway. They know every game they put out there will sell millions of copies, regardless of how mad everyone gets.
