Yeah i strongly agree with mostly everyone here, Ezra needs to be held responsible for his actions, Id like to see a really formal and sincere apology as his actions were out of line...

Look, the staff here is biased and we all know it. Look at the rules broken daily, showcases of stuff that will never be released but because you have a big name means you are a-o-k to do so right? We all know you only care about the revenue generated off the members and ads within the site. What you don't realize is the developers here are fed up with nothing being done to protect their work.  They try and get support and the developers get warned. Why do you think so many big names have left? Hmm, maybe because the staff is lazy and doesn't wanna do anything to actually protect people that want to give to the public. Medic is your biggest developer for fire departments fleets, guess what? He's yanked all his mods because people do nothing to protect them. I don't blame any of the developers who left this community, I'm glad people are realizing it. Calling this a "modders strike" and "we are just drama", How would you like it if Sam spent all the time on LSPDFR 0.4 then Timmy Bob came in, ripped it, and released it publicly for everyone to use? Oh yeah, I forgot, he'd just ignore it because that's what we are suppose to do and it shows.  You CAN deal with the issues if you actually take the time to care for you members YOU choose not to do it because all you want is the money.  I hope this gets on videos and shared around. People need to see the reason their favorite developers are leaving the community and stop removing and deleting topics and posts. They want a place that the staff actually looks out for it's members and enforces their own rule, not be biased and let certain people get away with posting whatever they want on the site.

We have had hugely persistent trolls over the ~10 years of running LCPDFR.com. In our experience, nothing will stop someone who wants to cause problems and damage.

Main reason - Fenix showed several people on the LSRD Support Team his banned LSPDFR Website Account. So... {And} The reason -> Was in fact -> "Theft" which would imply you actively administrated on his use of source code [found this part out later] because I was curious as to why he was banned.

 

I don't know about the ban because it doesn't exist.  I'm sorry if that doesn't fit your narrative.

We cannot control what people do with your mods (outside of the site) when you have made them public. I think that's what it really boils down to.

Cyan already clearly explained that if someone is ripping models and distributing them on Discord, there's nothing we can do about it.  We take action when people break our rules.  Our rules do not apply to Discord.

An excellent point. So I suppose as devs, we shouldn't release guys. Just keep everything private and behind a paywall. No more public releases. Glad we've all agreed.

So because we can not fully prevent someone from committing a crime we just shouldn't have police or laws? Not everyone is a superman willing to jump through hoops constantly setup new accounts and change VPNs IPs. You setup some baseline stuff to prevent the casuals and fight the hardcore as best you can instead of rolling over and showing a yellow belly.

But you surely can attempt conducting ways in reducing it such as not having the website open to absolutely everyone.
