This video demonstrates one of the newest addition to ELS : Hide-A-Way Strobes system.

So with ELS will there be proper light reflection on the ground (blue/blue, red/blue, ect)?

This. Most of GTAV's light patterns are gross. I just want to be able to have my favorite flash pattern and be able to switch between the yelp/wail/horn nicely. Right now, jamming on the thumb-stick makes it difficult to drive at the same time.

There are allot of cool members here that can make scripts so finding an person is not the problem. What is hard is to get someone willing to take on the job (should not be that hard since it's ELS lights we are talking about).

I seen an video years ago from DocterGTA, It's fake alright. I just read about this topic and the truth to say that who needs ELS with the current game has now. Allot of us had game crashes from ELS on GTAIV (not saying it will do the same on GTAV).

What we need is more options for our lights and horns, and light patterns

Then they should hop on it. I hope the hostility between non els and els users stays in gta iv. It looks like they are working on making it stable, plus v is a much more stable game. Also there is a more friendly modding community for V. A lot more willing to share. So there will be non els models.

ELS features real world light patterns from Whelen Engineering, Federal Signal Corporation, Code 3 , Feniex, and SoundOff Signal. I think there are enough patterns to cater your needs. it's more than ELS IV. Also, the hide-a-way system alone will have over 30 patterns to select from. ( Halogen, Strobes, and LED patterns. ) Lastly, I have not had 1 single crash yet by using ELS. I can tell you that this platform provides more stability than GTA IV ever could.

Oh, and yes, the environmental lighting in this game is realistic, it interacts with the world fluidly. If you pay close attention to near the end of the video, you will see that the strobe flashes up the fog rolling in front of the cruiser. It's that realistic.

Hide-A-Way Strobes system

Hi, thanks for the video, looks amazing. I was just wondering if you could expand on what 'Hide-A-Way Strobes system' actually means.

Thanks ~ Slushy.

Thanks ~ Slushy.

I am also wondering what it means. Enjoyed the video but was confused that it's in dashcam view the entire time. Not entirely sure what we were supposed to be looking at in the video.

Yeah, I was thinking it wouldn't be Dash cam all the way, but.. It is still very beautiful though.

I think when they're saying "Hide-Away Strobes" they're implying the strobes that are hidden in the corners of the lights on the CVPI's and other vehicles.

Just to clarify a few things :

1.) Hide-a-way system means inconspicuous warning light solution.  LED & Strobe Hideaway Kits are perfect for head or tail lights, as well as indicator lights. It can also even be converted to a surface mount with the surface flange. For ELS, this includes LED and Strobes emitting from the indicator housing ( corner strobes,) brake housing ( brake strobes ) and reverse housing.

2.) The reason why I chose to do a dash-cam themed video is for two reasons : The model that I am using is still a private work in progress done by Bxbugs123 and he isn't ready to show it to the world yet, so it's still a secret. Secondly, I wanted to show the audience how realistic the game has become with the newest ELS addition, and for some of us, including myself, who have spent a fair share of time watching pursuit videos on youtube, I wanted you to see how realistic the POV footage now looks. Watch this real video,

and then compare it to my video, pay attention to the strobes, it resembles ELS strobes system. Hence the title " Strobes." Even the reflection that you see coming from the back of the bus, is also in the game, so when you pull up behind a car, and you'll see the strobes, ELS lights, and other lights will flash back off from the rear of the vehicle, which is realistic, especially in during certain weather conditions. You'll see this example in my video where there are LED flashback on the push-bar coming from the two Whelen IONs installed behind the grille on my CVPI.

These sneak peak videos make me very excited for ELS! I remember purchasing GTA 4 a long time ago just so I could use a legit police cruiser with all the lights and everything. However, GTA 4 was an unstable game, so it crashed often and that kinda made me stop playing it. Now with GTA 5 and how it's more stable, I'll be able to enjoy using ELS and the police cars that eventually will be made for it. I'm especially looking forward to having more control over the siren. Thanks for posting these awesome videos @GravelRoadCopand here's to the eventual release of ELS V! :)

"Please, put it in park, will ya?" "LSPD, see the lights, pullover." "Stop the vehicle, we need to have a little chat!" "Get in the car and keep your mouth shut." "You have the right to absolutely nothing." "The damn gun is jammed!"

Thank you for the clarification. Can we be expecting a 3rd person video?
