BROOKLYNBOY2497 got a reaction from thegreathah in Why so many arjents????
I think it's because they are trying to mimic the LAPD style because all of the police cars there have an arjent. I'm not too great a fan of them as compared to others like the fed. sig. valor and vision, whelen freedom, whelen liberty, etc., but when actually playing with lspdfr the arjents are pretty awesome when  it comes to how realistic they look in game (some of the ones I've seen) compared to real life. I haven't actually played lspdfr at all yet, but from the videos that I've seen, I think that's why.

We're proud to present the second major public release of LSPDFR, and by far the most epic version yet, LSPDFR 0.2.
LSPDFR Version 0.2 follows on from the groundbreaking success of our first release for GTA V, implementing a large number of features specifically asked for by our community.
You can find LSPDFR 0.2 on the brand new LSPDFR page, including a whole set of online resources and documentation, at http://www.lspdfr.com

In Pennsylvania, police run Red, White & Blue.  EMS & Fire runs Red and White.
Edit->> Also Blue lights are used for volunteer firefighters and emts.  At this time the blue light is only a courtesy light, meaning no one is obligated to move aside or stop for you.  Also we cannot break any traffic laws such as speeding or running stop signs or lights.
Going back to your comment about the high visibility stripes....sigh.   I cannot express how upsetting it is for people to state that emergency vehicles need high visibility stripping when you have 1,684 led lights that rival that of a lighthouse and even possibly the sun.  Many of our firetrucks are now required to have the chevron stripping covering the back of the vehicle.  Here's my argument to the stripping and you are free to disagree, but if you cannot see a 3 TON firetruck with the 1,684 led lights then the chevron stripping isnt going to do a flippin thing.  If you were stationary and no lights...okay maybe, but today most of the leds blind the living crap out of drivers at night and we cannot see the chevrons anyways so what good are they doing?
    Sorry for the semi-rant :p

It's actually pretty interesting you say that, blue has a shorter wavelength then red, making red "more visible" than blue when it comes to light ;)

Hello, I see that you have provided the modding community with much information on the type of vehicle you want, what kind of lights you want, and where you want them to be placed. I am pleased with the amount of information you gave the modeling community and I will step up and create this model for you. Due to the fact that I am officially releasing me Ford Explorer in 2 days time, I will be busy for the next fourty eight ours. However, if you would like to get my skype information, etc, please message me and we can consult about this vehicle. Thank you!

? No. I knew this info before, so I've been going around collecting boogers. 0 fat, 0 sugar, a good amount of nutrients, and they taste amazing. It's honestly the perfect snack.

I've been collecting my boogers and other people's for several years, waiting for a business opportunity like this. I have several tons of boogers from all over, arranged by different regions of the world. Using these boogers I will make Booger Crackers, toasted and roasted for maximum flavor. There will at least 50 different flavors, seasoned to represent popular dishes from that area. Sadly I've been waiting for FDA approval for the last 30 years...

I disagree, so I request that you stop posting pointless responses. I shouldn't have to read that crap, to put it in your own words. Thanks!

People sag their pants because they're ignorant, and feel that it makes them appear more "gangster" and "hoodrat". If you ask me I think that it's retarded, and absolutely disgusting to see. Whenever I see someone sagging, I want to tell them where it came from. But then I realize that they're probably stupid, and won't understand.

Okay im back at it for a little while, i fixed the alley lights cause they werent working so the lightbar is completely done. i edited the traffic advisor a little bit and im about to start with the interior stuff.
Any other lights you want? grille lights or anything? cause all there is right now is the lightbar. Which is fine it doesnt look bad im just asking before i move onto everything else.

And if you wouldnt mind sending me the skin you want to use on the car, i need to test a few things out but its hard with an all white car. If i release the car, would you mind if i did with your skin?

Almost done, Just have a few more things to add and touch up.

The blue lights look different here, theyre not actually different, the picture just came out weird.

I actually kind of fixed it up a bit. I deleted callouts+ and since I had all spark iv files in the gta 4 main directory, I moved all those files out of the directory and in the same folder that the gta 4 main folder is in. This seemed to make it run better.

Well I can see you have at least 1 plugin "Callouts+". Try getting rid of that for a while and see if the problem persists. If it continues, it's most likely one of the vehicle mods you're using. Try sticking to 1 vehicle, AI ELS turned "off" and make sure not to use any vehicle you're using now as it's most likely the problem. Try something from CJ24. I've never had one of his vehicles cause a crash for me. Hope this helps... Let me know if it doesn't.

My game never crashed while dispatch was saying the street names. Don't completely take my word for it (I'm no expert), but you may not have lcpdfr installed correctly. It's all I can really think of or maybe you have two of one audio file and lcpdfr doesn't know which one to read so the game crashes. In your GTAIV Folder>LCPDFR>Audio>PoliceScanner>Streets take a look and see if maybe there is anything unusual, but honestly I have no clue so don't take my word completely.

I think maybe the problem with mine is that something may not have installed correctly or something. I don't know, so I hope someone who really knows their LCPDFR stuff and game scripting comes on here and helps me out. I really need it...

To answer your question, there are no mods that significantly improve the AI driving to the best of my knowledge. GTAIV AI is simply awful and while a C++ mod may be able to improve it somewhat, no one has put anything together besides the two already noted in a previous post.
