I think a good ground would be focusing on projects where the majority of work is AI generated, like your suggestion. I totally agree w/ "uploaders" using AI to their advantage to write more in-depth descriptions to their mods, or documentation.

I think a good start could be leaning more on the "honor system" if you will. "Uploaders" can add a tag along the lines of "Made with AI". I don't think it has to be something the Staff team has to be on the look out for. But in my opinion it's a great start to something that could become an issue in the future.

I have seen a few people upload mods and disclose in the description that it is made with AI. Which kudos to them. Which makes me think if some people are willing to put it in the actual mod description, a simple file tag could be useful.

With the recent website update, I'd like to suggest adding a "Made with AI" tag for file uploads or something along those lines. We're seeing an influx of plugins generated entirely by AI rather than being built by developers (with the possibility of using AI as a TOOL). Quite often these generated plugins are quite buggy, and a clear label would help users manage their expectations and possibly avoid some frustration.

I’ve raised this internally before, but there are a few issues that make this tricky.
Judging what counts as AI-generated work.
We can probably assume that not all creators will be transparent and tag their work as AI-assisted. Detection tools aren’t very reliable, and the line itself can be subjective. If an author actively tries to hide AI usage, do moderators just make a final call? And would the community actually be comfortable with that level of judgment?
Where is the threshold for tagging?
In practice, this is especially blurry. In code, we already have everything from basic autocompletion to much more involved tools like Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, etc. Images are a bit more clear-cut, but even there, AI can be used for minor edits or touch-ups.
    So what triggers the tag?
AI used to help write the description?
    AI used to generate images?
Only if the majority of the work is AI-generated?
Previously, my suggestion was “all or a significant part of” the work, but I’m open to other interpretations.
AI used well can absolutely be a productivity boost, but we’ve also seen plenty of low-quality “AI slop” uploaded here. The hard part is finding the right balance — and then clearly defining that balance in a way that’s fair, enforceable, and easy to understand.

    Hi, everyone,

I started a new texture endeavor just a few days ago to attempt to recreate, to the best of my ability, my local sheriff's office. I plan to make this pack a comprehensive replacement of all default police vehicles, including both sheriff and city police vehicles. Attached below are my first two vehicles, replacing sheriff and sheriff2.

I do plan to keep this thread updated on my progress.

If you're using UltimateBackup, go into the UltimateBackup folder (Grand Theft Auto V>plugins>LSPDFR>UltimateBackup) and open the files named DefaultRegions.xml and SpecialUnits.xml. Then, simply search up "policeb" using Notepad (or whichever text editor you might use) and replace that with whichever vehicle you want to use.

If you're using the LSPDFR menu, go into the data folder (Grand Theft Auto V>lspdfr>data) and open the file named agency.xml. Again, search "policeb" using your text editor of choice and replace it.

This process may depend on the mods you're using, but if you're running default LSPDFR and/or default UltimateBackup, this is how to change them.

    Status Updates
    LSPDFR for Enhanced
We're very excited to announce that LSPDFR Enhanced, after months of development and testing, is now entering the next phase of the development process and is now available to our Insiders. We are deeply grateful to everyone in our staff team and closed testing community for their feedback and support that have brought us to this point.

The current build is largely stable, though a handful of bugs remain and we are not yet feature complete with Legacy. Development is advancing quickly, and each new revision brings us closer to a fully polished release.

Several community members have asked whether the Legacy edition will continue to receive attention. Both RAGEPluginHook and LSPDFR have been engineered to accommodate the Legacy and Enhanced branches side‑by‑side. With most of the heavy lifting complete, our goal is to roll out updates to both editions in parallel.

As soon as we’ve smoothed out the last few wrinkles and made sure everything runs flawlessly, we can’t wait to roll out LSPDFR Enhanced to everyone.

    The new LCPDFR.com
Work on the redesigned LCPDFR.com is progressing steadily. The site and its companion, RDR2Mods.com, run on the same underlying codebase.
An early version of the community upgrade is already live on RDR2Mods.com, allowing us to gather real‑world feedback, refine new concepts, and further stabilize the platform before bringing the enhancements to LCPDFR.com.

We thank you all for your patience and continued enthusiasm, and hope to share even more with you soon.

There isn't one in the vanilla game, as far as I know, but there are mods out there that add one.

Here's one I found that modifies the La Mesa station in LS.

Hello everybody I haven't ever posted on these forums so please excuse me if this post is in the wrong location. I have been working on an application that can be used for doing reports for LSPDFR since I like the realism aspect of it and I feel even using something like Compulite or ComputerPlus isn't as realistic as I would want it. I started working on this project for me and a few friends who I know also wanted the same thing and I wanted to see if it was something anyone else would be interested in. I had never originally planned to release it but I figured I should see if it was something anyone else would be interested. This application took HEAVY inspiration from PaperWorkPlus which is an application I enjoyed while it was active and was a great tool. The program was created in Java and would most effectively be used on another laptop that you have next to you, I use my MAC with it open so it functions similarly to the laptops in patrol vehicles.

I have attached some images of the application below, it is fully functional and stores reports in an XML format.
    some more images here: https://imgur.com/a/V9vBTp9

    Features-
    * Create Reports for Citations, Callouts, Patrols, Traffic Stops, Impounds, Searches, Incidents, and Arrests at the moment.
    * Fully Functional Log Database which displays all the information for every log.
    * Make doing the reports faster by transferring information into another report. Say if you created an arrest report you will likely do a search report, so if the create search report button is hit from the arrest report it transfers all the information over like the suspect name, location of arrest, etc. which is a huge time saver.
    * High-quality zoomable map
    * Notepad text area, very useful for remembering location info and search items.
    * Customizable UI, the default is purple, and three different colors can be modified, Main, Secondary, and Accent, I plan on making everything entirely customizable.
    * Fully Modifiable arrest charges and citations through XML. It follows the same XML format as Compulite, so plugins like Realistic Charges and Citations for Compulite work perfectly for adding a ton of charges and citations. That is what I have loaded in the screenshot.
    * Tons of Divisions and Agencies to choose from which took heavy inspiration from PaperWorkPlus.
    * Many more

I am looking forward to any feedback on whether this is something any of you would be interested in me releasing.

I get both sides of the story. When I first jumped into LSPDFR (automatic install), it felt like a walk in the park, just stuck with the basic version. But the more I got into it, it's like a soup recipe, you know? They throw in the basics, and you spice it up however you want. Gotta admit, I'm an ELS-vegetarian lol, but now that I've caught onto its vibe, I'm totally loving it this way!
I haven't tried LCPDFR, so I can't make a comparison. However, I must admit that the ambulance and firefighter gameplay seems enjoyable to have in the basic version of LSPDFR. I have to agree.

Seeing as VI will be set in Florida (Leonida, I know), I can't see any scenario where they don't put some crazy mysteries and scenarios in the game. If anything, it might be crazier than V, which I'd love to see.

Thanks, @QdiggityGaming! I've been working through the pack a bit more over the week, and have some updates.

So, I have either completely redone or edited both of the original two liveries, and I have added three brand new ones! I will put them all in spoilers so they don't take up a huge amount of space.

First up is the new revamped CVPI texture. The model I first chose for this livery unfortunately had a major bug, so I had to find a new one. This required a complete redo of the texture from the ground up, but I think it was worth it.

Next is the 2020 FPIU livery. This one remains mostly the same, but I have realigned the badge to make it look just a bit better.

Our first new livery is the 2016 FPIS. This, along with the FPIU, come from Ripple's excellent Legacy pack, and I think this one turned out very well.

Next is the 2014 Chevy Tahoe. I had to take some liberties with this one, since I believe the Tahoe used by my local sheriff's office is a 2008 model, and had a lightbar. However, I find this one to be really nice, though I might come back and fix up some of the decals.

Finally, we have the Lenco Bearcat. I found this model in XxOJLxX Designs' Legacy Pack, and think it is the best ELS Bearcat model out there right now. My local sheriff's Bearcat is actually unmarked, so I took some creative liberty with this one and made it into a ghosted livery.

That's all I have so far. I plan to move to a Harley livery and a helicopter skin, though I haven't decided what helicopter I'll be using just yet.

Due to an unforeseen issue, we will ship the normal compatibility update first, then add support for the new DLC vehicles. Don't worry, this should come very shortly after our compatibility update (it's already there, just a minor fix needed that we didn't want to delay the release for).

Yes, provided no major time blocker or bug appears around this we should support these in the next update. I'll try to make sure LSPDFR supports the new vehicles and livery options and provisionally I've added them to the LSPD agency, but breaking these out to individual agencies might be something left up to the community and individual preferences.
