You both forget that 0.95 is in beta stage and callouts are being added, just yesterday we got a new world event to test. :D

So nice of you to "rub" it in Break

Anyway, I'm glad to see that the mod is still being expanded upon.... Happy testing and thanks for all your work, I know you guys get a lot of flack from people who are mad or jealous but I'm glad you guys are doing such a great job with the testing. Keep up the great work

Right side approaches on vehicle stops: As in once you stop a car, you get a dialog asking "hit x to approach driver side or y to approach passenger side" Lots of depts in RL do this to keep from getting run over, and would serve a similar purpose in IV.

Alternately, just script 2 markers to walk into left and right side, but don't know if that's possible.

I really want to see call-out's for traffic accident's

That would be really really realistic.

And maybe call-out's for drunk people who are attacking innocent's. Maybe also a call-out of an escaped prisoner and bankrobbery's, but the traffic accidents would be really cool

Have you any idea how boring it is to deal with real life traffic accidents? =P

But it would be realistic just don't add the amount of paperwork you have to do for one!

He probably just meant "perform immediate CPR on persons X, Y, Z" and block traffic for T amount of time.

Jay would find a way to incorporate a bazooka.

"F*CKING TRAFFIC ISN'T JAMMED NOW, IS IT?"

It would be cool if you could be called by dispatch as a cover car to an AI officer conducting a traffic stop or something. Maybe also call for cover during your own traffic stops so an AI cruiser will pull up behind you with their lights on ready in case the driver gets hostile. If everything goes well and the driver is released, the AI car would drive away.

This may have been discussed already, but it would add realism. Currently, when you call for backup, the car arrives on scene and then leaves pretty quickly.

I absolutely love this mod guys. Thank you for your continuous hard work.

I didn't forget. I'm a tester. lol

And I've seen the forced world events (random running guy) and new forced callouts. Good ideas so far, we'll see how they pan out.

I prefer more routine police work - that will give us more feeling ;D

Maybe some defect traffic lights and we have to control the traffic

hi gamers, many friends of mine are avid gamers, GTA IV also diehard firefighters, andmy question / proposal now was to ask someone from the team if a mod-LCPDFRLCFDFR-mod can make the same principle as LCPDFR but in the fire version, you go tofires, traffic accidents, people in need, ... just as the LCPDFR first choose your fireman(in this case) and then choose your fire truck, and you can start playing. I think it would be great if you and your friends together in a firetruck and crawls to the scene of the disasterin motion. Think for a moment, I follow this forum though, mind you, I can no cars andskinning myself am not a mod maker.

regards FirefighterGillian

I think this things may be good:

1. Some kind of detective work: searching and collecting pieces of evidence, questioning witnesses, etc. Questioning may be realized as rudimentary RPG-like dialog system.

2. Two selectable modes: detective/agent/operative/how-it-called-in-your-country and patrolman. The first mode is for serious calls like homicides, robberies, firefights-in-progress or after ones; mostly actions that suggested in section 1 and/or assisting patrolmen in tough situationg. Second mode - street fights, traffic violations, first response for 1-st mode situations etc. Also there can be mixed mode (or smth like that).

3. Possibility to use civilian outfit and/or car (unmarked/undercover). As I know there is nice mod "Dash Light Mod" by Luxart that can be useful. Also ability to show badge/ID while undercover.

4. Rare but interesting and challenging calls like bank robbery, terrorist attaks on government buildings, major drug operations, you know...

I like the idea itself, but I don't think it fits this mod. You're a patrolman in the game, and this scenario just isn't realistic. I'd prefer to keep missions like this in the actual GTA IV game.

Just remembered another idea: penalty for requesting unnecessary support (like NOoSE gunship for suicide call or 20 NOoSE SRT squads for nothing).

This might not be something that would be part of LCPDFR, but it would be awesome if there was a way to actually block off traffic or even an entire street because while vehicles in traffic stops move a lot better than before, traffic can still get way backed up for accidents. Or at least have it so the vehicles don't just ram into my crusier, me, crashed vehicles, or pedestrians. I would even be happy if they just sat still or waited until opposite lane traffic was clear before moving AROUND and not through me. I guess any way to control traffic would be nice. Like I said, this may not be an LCPDFR thing, but it would be nice if someone came up with something.

I also like the idea people have mentioned of responding to fights or domestic disturbances where not everything involves whipping out the gun and shooting people.

Anyways, I love LCPDFR and I am sure I will be happy with whatever is in future versions. Thanks.
