Morpheus reacted to AlexVonShep in LC Port Authority Police StationHi everyone! I'm presenting you my own work called as this topic name.
I thought it would be great if FIA was LCPA juresdiction (like the real JFK airport in NYC and PA of NJ&NY). The nearest police station fits perfectly my story.
Changed:
Door file in mo_lcpdstation.wdr archive; LCPD logo & signs in am_ap_corporate.wtd archive; LCPD signs [3d] to LCPA [3d] in et_ap_lcpdsign01.wdr archive. I'm newbie in redesigning in 3ds MAX so that all LCPA signs [3d] has white colour. [if you want, you may help me - just write PM]
Known bug: from a distance of arond 50 metres you will see not replaced objects, but they disappear if you go further.
Thank you for your attention! Have a good day!
*screens provided*
P.s. sorry for my bad English - I'm from Russia

Morpheus reacted to AlexVonShep in LC NOoSE office instead of CC buildingSorry for my not good English: I'm Russian
It's the most stupid mod I ever done!
Anyway, because of the threat of a terrorist attack the Civilisation Committee had to leave Liberty City and a vacant building was taken over the NOoSE in order to organize a center of opposition to terrorists and immigrants.
What includes my work?
- 4 NOoSE logos on the buildings that raise the spirit of patriotism
- No humane statues of CC! This is war!
- US flags instead of CC flags! More patriotism!
- Bigger car parking with auto-spawned NOoSE vehicles (nstockade, polpatriot, noose) + annihilator on the helipad!
- A concrete block that will show everyone under whose control is this city! (like in GTA V - Los Santos Liberty City Government Facility)
Work is in progress that's why no appropriate screens are here.
But you may choose where should concrete block stay! (just draw a rectangle on the attached image)

Morpheus reacted to bigpittle in SPIKESTRIPSI Have Been playing Lcpdfr for a litttle while, And i noticed that everthing was pretty boss exept for the chases, because most of the time you just drive and chase them until the suspects car catches fire from crashing into things. So i think it would really awesome if someone created a spikestrip mod. I would be willing to pay money for this by the way.

Morpheus got a reaction from TaylorSwift in What I'd like to see added to LCPDFRSo I've been playing quite a bit lately with Abraxas' mods for LCPDFR and I was thinking, is it possible to integrate the Police helper, towing service, coroner service and K-9, Police station mods to LCPDFR itself? I've noticed they've added some animations if you have the police station mod so why not integrated the other mods as well? I only suggest this as Abraxas sadly no longer updates his mods due to real life issues, so maybe it would be easier if those features were intergrated to LCPDFR itself?
On another note, how about a breathtest for the drunk drivers? (I'm guessing there must be some issue with this otherwise it would have been added ages ago) and an ability to deploy a spike strip yourself (if possible) or the AI at least.
One last suggestion, what about a jail like the County Jail mod, or maybe just use the current Police stations?
EDIT: Forgot to mention spike strips.

Morpheus got a reaction from NYPDDetectiveODonnell in Walkie TalkieHey bud so far the only thing I have found are different ped skins like this one which makes it look like a different radio, but when you do an ID check the officer still holds that clunky brick. Probably not what you wanted its the best I can find so far.
EDIT: Oops forgot to post the link for the ped skin XD

Morpheus got a reaction from NYPDDetectiveODonnell in Walkie TalkieI was recently sifting through what modes the sites hold and I haven't spotted one, I don't think LCPDFR.com has one have you tried gtamods?

Morpheus got a reaction from XCVz in Crash After Tries to Load Previous SessionWhen you say you are deleting your save, do you mean the savegame.fr file? If so try deleting the oldsession.fr file as well. If you want to disable the auto-save feature this can be done by running the LCPDFR Diagnostic tool in the LCPDFR folder which is located in the GTA IV main folder. After you run it click on Configure LCPDFR then click on the General Settings #2 tab and untick the box that says Enable auto-save.

Morpheus reacted to Will in 2 NYPD Cops Shot and Killed Eating LunchRelating to this post, I recently saw this when one of my friends on Facebook shared it:

It's not only the Automatic Installer, it's both.
It's because your AntiVirus "blacklists" them as virus, and blocks them from being extracted.
All that you have to do is turn off your AntiVirus/whitelist the files so you can install the LCPDFR. I disabled mine, and enabled it after I was done installing LCPDFR.
-
I had such problem, but after turning off antivirus (Avast) it worked! However, it shows a Win32 Dropper-Gen virus in LCPDFR configuration tool.exe I don't know why it's happening!

Morpheus reacted to Monty0112 in why youtube, why?Though I agree with the fact that there are many perverts on the face of the planet, I have to say that most of the artists of these anime pictures didn't have the intention to shock or disgust people. Unfortunately, these animes are often used by pedophiles or other perverts.
Don't blame the artists for misuse of their artwork.

Morpheus reacted to Bailey23 in Question for everyone???To the person who asked about the Florida LEOs: Not Broward, but I'm a deputy in Hillsborough County (Tampa, FL). I will say this, however. The "Police Women" series and most other police shows are not entirely accurate and some situations you see on camera are staged. One situation that irked me was seeing that female deputy escorting a suspect with one arm and talking to her son on the phone with her other arm. Obviously this is a TV moment to show compassion to the viewers, it is an officer safety nightmare and would never happen off camera. What you didn't see (and I am friends with a Broward deputy who was on that particular call), was 6 or so deputies and detectives just off camera ready to tackle the guy if he made any moves.
I've had the Cops TV crew ride with me once before here in Hillsborough. (side not: I haven't been aired on an episode yet... but someday I will be famous! lol). I can tell you this, most "police work" is writing reports and when I had the Cops crew with me I was taken out of my zone squad and was allowed to respond to anything in the district or neighboring district that was considered cool enough for the show. After I respond to the call and handle the scene (I automatically become the primary officer with the TV crew), we go and re-film the initial part you see on TV. So the call is real, but after the call we go back and film the "I love my job because I get to help people, and oh we've just been dispatched to a stolen vehicle". Some things you see are entirely accurate, and some portions of the show are staged.
To the person who asked if we love our job. I certainly do, but I know many who hate the job. My advice for anyone who wants to pursue this career, go and do ride-alongs with your local department and the department you will apply to and see if it is for you. Many people who ride-along with me realize it isn't what you see on TV, and for every 10 minutes of crazy vehicle chase action you may have hours or even entire shifts of essentially being a secretary with a gun. But to the point, I absolutely LOVE my career and could never see myself doing anything different and I've only been a sheriff's deputy for about 3 years. I think it is a wonderful career if you genuinely want to help society *AND* you can maintain effective control of a scene both verbally and physically if needed. "Command presence" has been tossed around in this thread and everyone is correct. This is the most important aspect of being a law enforcement officer, and really many other careers. You can relate it to your every-day life, when you meet people you make first impressions. As an officer arriving on a chaotic scene, the first impression you portray must be professional, confident, and competent.
So the best part of my job is every part, in my opinion. I get to handle a variety of problems and have the responsibility placed upon me to solve them or provide the best remedy possible. The most common call I respond to on a consistent basis (that is law enforcement related) is domestic disputes, and these require me to show compassion and attempt to resolve their problems without destroying the family or their individual lives (contrary to popular belief, we don't want to arrest people if we don't have to). The variety of my work and no call every being the same keeps me on my feet and I try to always be prepared for anything that will be thrown my way.
Cons: lots of paperwork and report writing, but at least in my department almost everything is done on the MDT (laptop) now. Obviously we are dealing with the scum of the earth at times, which can be very dangerous. Since I work in unincorporated Tampa, at times the call volume is very high and I find myself just driving call to call to call all night long which is why my secretary with a gun comment comes from, other deputies call themselves secretary on wheels (show up, investigate, write report, drive to next call and repeat). Doesn't always happen like that, and of course you throw in the violent in-progress crimes into the mix and we certainly have our hands full.
All things considered, it is a very rewarding career for the right people.

Morpheus reacted to unr3al in Question for everyone???Everyone seems to forget that police are people. Just like all of us. They have personalities. Some of them look at their job and think of it as just a job. Some of them think of it as a career and put a bit more into it. Some of them look at it as their calling in life, and have passion for it. That can make a difference between a cop who responds to a BDV and writes a report, one who responds to a BDV and gives the victim a card with a number to call for help, and one who checks in on that victim once in a while to see if they're doing alright. A person who follows up, so to speak. It's usually the first of those three that gives police a bad reputation as ticket givers, fear breeders and just plain a-holes. Every officer has a different personality, and you're going to see it on every call response and every traffic stop.
A lot of my peers hate police. And that saddens me, honestly. I've only had one bad experience with a traffic stop, and it hasn't detoured me. My interest in the job is genuine. I'm not sure if I should call it curiosity or not, but I think I'd feel good while on the job. Something I'd enjoy doing down at an emotional level, which would make me strive to be a good worker, and someone who gives a damn. And that's the most important thing for me if it's a career that I follow for the rest of my life. I need to enjoy it and have fun with what I'm doing.

Morpheus reacted to Iconography in LCPD:FR CrashingJust delete your scripts folder (assuming you don't have any other mods in there).
It's found under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV\scripts (if you have a 64 bit machine).
