I think its more a difference in philosophy. It seems with LSPDFR that the intention is to provide a stable and robust foundation for plugins to build on with the API. In that regard they have done a tremendous job, I also think having to constantly contend of Rockstar's updates breaking shit takes away from what time the Dev team does have to expand the API and add additional foundation features. I agree that in some ways LCPDR was more complex, but LCPDFR was never as stable as LSPDFR is. I also think that a lot of that complexity was necessary to include in the base mod because it was a crap-shoot to get other modifications to alongside LCPDFR with the terrible port that was GTA IV.

There is a setting for this. LMS created a great list of common settings that can be added to the ini file.

@Sam @LMS Is there a list of all the possible setting we can change with the lspdfr ini file? If not could you guys make one available?

Yes it did, just select it in the weapon wheel and watch the magic happen. Fantastic animation work, the only mild complaint I have about it is not really being able to direct the flashlight beam.

To anybody getting a crash on launch with a fresh install. Try deleting your old saves. I had to delete all my saves, and start a new game and get past the initial start of the game before LSPDFR would load without crashing on start up.

Looking back at the screenshot in my slightly sleep deprived state. There IS a tab in the menu for Keyboard Bindings. 😀

Judging by the available menus in the screenshot. It looks like we may be able to manage callouts, plug-ins, and even characters through it. Which is awesome if accurate. Imagine being able to enable and disable callouts and plugins on the fly through a GUI instead of using the Rage Menu.

@Sam Looking back over the 0.4 updates for the 1,000th time, I noticed that you guys added an entire LSPDFR tab to the pause menu. Can you give us a little information on what we will be able to do through the pause menu?

Absolutely fantastic job on this by all involved. I just have two questions. 1) Is there a recommending order when installing RDE with EUP? 2) Are there any plans to release on ELS enabled version of the vehicles? Thanks again for the great mod.

And I'm saying leave well enough alone, there is no need to dredge back up this tragedy for a pointless debate. If you can't come up with something more pressing and current to discuss then please don't dig back up a tragedy and a mass murder to entertain yourself, next you'll be asking if Peral Harbor was a false flag... Some events in history are not meant for debate and in my opinion 9/11 certainly qualifies...

I'm going to say this as nicely as possible, according to your profile you weren't even born when 9/11 happened so please do not disrespect the events of that day by pointing fingers with ZERO proof or understanding of what happened that day.

Who gives two sh*ts about "proof" regardless of what the government did or did not do that day, thousands of inncoent lives were lost unless you're one of those fools who deny even that fact... I understand you want people to "think" as you put it. But think about this, if you lost a loved one or a friend in a senseless tragedy...would you want people to debate whether or not the event was "an inside job?" Would you want that wound ripped open over and over again by misguided people spouting nonsense they cannot prove? Would you want that event and the memory of your loss to be bandied about as a talking point for a senseless conspiracy? There is nothing "new" to be brought into this "topic" as you call it. Unless anyone here has a time machine or can talk to the dead. All this thread does is treat the mass murder of thousands of innocent people as a conspiracy! Which is no only unproveable by anyone here, but completely disrespectful to the memories of those heroes and victims.

Exactly, this topic and this discussion are pointless and totally disrespectful to the victims who lost their lives. Instead of worrying about whether the government had anything to do with it, how about we remember the heroes who risked and lost their lives that day to protect this nation from a threat, be it foreign or domestic. Mods, please close this topic, its a pointless exercise of disgracing the memories of those who were lost.

Really you could argue that may not even be Wilson in the video considering that some claim he was injured during the incident. One could argue that he had already been sent to get medical attention at the time that video had started. The other thing to note from that 10 minute video is very early on like in the first minute or two you hear the shots being described as rapid fire "bang, bang, bang, bang, bang" That really doesn't sound like a situation where the officer fired once stopped and then continued to fire after the subject turned around and surrendered to me. That sounds more like him responding to a ~300 pound threat charging him after already assaulting him for an unknown reason.

Personally I think this entire situation has gotten wildly out of control. The media keeps printing or writing things out of context that repeatedly make the police look bad. Honestly I really want to know what people expect the police to do? How do they think they should handle an all out riot when it erupts. I agree during the day the protests have been largely peaceful but at night things have literally gone to hell. How are police supposed to protect themselves and the innocent protesters without firing tear gas and rubber bullets especially when they're being attacked with glass bottles, molotov cocktails, and live ammunition from "brave" shooters who hide in the crowd like cowards. I don't know if the shooting was justified or not but I do not trust the eyewitnesses. Before anyone draws conclusions on their credibility listen to the audio in the first part of this video: That is from a 10 clip recorded on a cell phone in the immediate aftermath of the shooting. Unfortunately the poster realized that this conversation was in the video and has changed the full video's status to Private on YouTube. After listening to this audio I have to side with the officer and believe that the eyewitnesses concocted their stories in order to place the blame on the police. Honestly I wish the people in this town would realize the damage they are doing to their own community and start taking responsibility for their choices and actions. Furthermore if you want black youths to stop being "treated" like criminals than actually raise your children to know the difference between right and wrong...

Small gaming companies are already receiving cease and desist orders to remove their games from app stores. That was the first one in a Charger I've seen. I mostly see them in Crown Vics. Still I love the Chargers, if I ever get pulled over by one I may have to ask for a picture with the car :P

Shockingly enough this one was out on 21 near Rock Hill when I saw him. He was hiding in a little access road and I literally didn't see him until I was right up on him. Scared me to death when he pulled out right behind me, I was going about 60 in a 55 but he zoomed right around me in the other lane and put on the blue lights for the truck in front of me.

They are indeed beautiful to see in person. I got a great look at the car as it sped by me, thankfully he was after the guy in front of me. ;)

Its called realizing that most AAA games that are released now have glitches and bugs. This is a FREE mod produced on a game that HATES modding. Just the fact that they've been able to produce something that works period is a feat to be admired. Learn some patience and quit b*tching about something that is free and done out of geniune interest. They will fix the issues just like they did with previous versions.

Dude get a life! These guys work on the mod for free in their free time. There are going to be issues with any new release especially one running on completely new code. Be patient and give them time to tweak things before you freak out and jump back to .95....
