Would it be possible to lay spike strips.

p.s Sorry if the item has all ready been covered

I think it has been covered. As a model for spike stripes isn't in game, it's hard to implement one so spike strips most likely won't come.

A After a chase is over maybe sometimes have the officers take cover next to their squad cars and have there pistols drawn at the vehicle and a loudspeaker in another squad car say something like "this is the lcpd step out of the vehicle slowly and place your hands on your head" idk i think it would be more realistic if you guys could do that rather than running up to the vehicle and killing the suspect. thank you g17 for LCPDFR its in one word : Amazing.

I think that maybe id like to see... well say I pull someone over and i go back to my patrol car after receiving license and registration only to find out that they have a warrant out for their arrest. I would like to be able to call for a backup unit to park behind my patrol car and walk up to the suspects vehicle and have the other officer take the suspect, frisk him and then put him in his patrol car and take the suspect to jail.

I don't think this is possible. script wise. There's no animations for the covering while aiming at the vehicle

And as for the loudspeaker bit, there's no voice file for that, meaning they'd have to add one in which means they'd have to re-do the whole bunch of voices for the officer's so it'd fit.

And in 0.95, you can authorize deadly force or turn it off

Actually there is a sound file for that :) And as far as I've experienced in 0.95 the cops do everything he says, without the loudspeaker part. They don't run up and kill him anymore, they surround the car, pull him out and arrest him.

I would like to see something like police callouts and swat callouts. So if I select swat callouts I get special callouts etc.

Yes, but he suggested that they aim their guns over the hoods of the car, while crouched..

This is what he means (from my favourite film series

Its bad quality and only just shows the cop behind the door, but thats what he's getting at.

TTTT] l <------------- The Guy. (That took too much effort.)

He's behind the car near the front left tyre. His forearms are resting on the hood as he looks down the sights of his pistol which will be resting in his hands which are on the hood pointing towards the target

First: A simple suggestion for the future is adding a variable factor into each call out, selected at random from a set, with a different action required for each. This is already implemented into the shots fired call out somewhat.

E.g You might find the perpetrator has already left the scene and you are required to make a patrol / search of the area; or you find an unconscious or injured victim or Police Officer and are required to call in a Paramedic crew; or all of the above. This could work for muggings, shots fired, suicidal person, etc.

Another thing: Is it possible to ratchet up the difficulty in finding the location of the callout? I'm not sure what the waypoint / "gps" system allows but it would be great to be given more vague information requiring the player to work a bit harder to find where they need to be (as in real life).

As far as the difficulty goes they have a hardcore mode you can set lcpdfr to when you first install it that has no blips or any of that stuff. I believe you'll have to reinstall it to switch to hardcore mode. But I like the ideas of having to call paramedics after muggings extent.

You can edit FirstResponse.ini to turn on the HardcoreMode:

HARDCORE = False

'//Enable or disable hardcore mode.

Yes, a lot of callout suggestions have been made. But "Break" I have heard they are not adding new callouts to .95, so therefore waiting for .95 is just going to make him disappointed to see no new callouts..

Just saying.

And what do you know? Haha! Trust me, they are adding new callouts for 0.95. If you read a bit on the forum you'd know. They are coming in 0.95 Beta, Alpha doesn't have them yet as it was made to test the core engine and core features.

Really? That's some good news!

After all, the main features of LCPDFR as I see them are traffic stops, chases and callouts - and in NicolaiB's videos you can already see that the first two are now quite perfect. So if there are also new callouts (and thus more variety in answering them), 0.95 isn't going to be epically epic as I thought, but most epic epically epic!!

Yep, 0.95 refines/improves/perfects current features and adds slightly new features.
