lol question is this els 7 going to work with the car that we use now or are there different car for the els ????

 

Pretty sure, because I have dabbled into already making 3 stage lighting systems on my cars.  I believe we are getting the 3rd lighting setting from the old takedown "O" feature.  So instead of only having 2 settings, a primary and secondary, as well as the takedown feature, we now have the option to easily use takedowns as a 3rd light setting.  I am crossing my fingers we then can also use takedowns completely separate so in a sense 4 light options for modders to work with.  That last part may not be doable though. 

 

For the 3 lighting patterns we could do this before and like I said, I have tried to do that with all the cars I work on already, but in ELS V6 that was harder to get to.  T menu O menu.  Now its just one click in V7 right?  Correct me if Im wrong moderator.  

 

Here are some cars that I worked on the lights for the 3 light setting for ELS V6.  I believe for modders it will be very similar to that for V7.  We will all just be utilizing the takedowns for lighting patterns instead of just white takedowns.  I wish one of the beta testers would try one of these cars so that it would answer this question once and for all. 

 

As already said in this  thread, it's backwards compatible. That rules out the possibility, that Lt.Caine might have completely changed the way Extras are used, doesn't it?

It actually would be pretty stupid if it was not backwards compatible. Considering the huge amount of ELS-enabled cars available here on LCPDFR and other sites.

 

 

Anyway I am really looking forward to this, since ELS V6 doesn't work for me and ELS V5 AI cars won't despawn.

He should be revealing a new update/release this week from what I have heard.

First: I don't know what "Virgins of ELS" are, but I'm also pretty sure I don't want to, so please, PLEASE don't elaborate.

Second: Older ELS cars should still be perfectly compatible with ELS 7.

Any updates over here?  Its been silent for a while.  Another video just to keep us talking would be cool.  Would love to see the takedown features more in depth. 

i had some gta iv fatal error smpa60 after i installed the latest ELS. everytime i go trough the east borough bridge my game crashed with this error. i hope you will fix this in the v7 :) but if anybody have a solution for my problem tell me :D and no. there are no cars saved at my houses :) i never save cars cause i use the provehicle mod

For those interested in german cars... Note: the pattern speed can be regulated. This is probably 50% slower than usual, due to the FPS drop I get when recording at full size.

but seriously i would take 3 just to have a more stable ELS and from what some of the testers have posted,  they have seen no crashes.  So it is like a sundae with 90 cherries on top which is a sweet thing.

Every time when i want to change my car, the game crashes. (It only happens on the ELS-enabled cars and after playing for like an hour)

 

I've heard that you called up to 20 backup units (or something) and game didn't crash. Will this problem i've explained be gone with this version?

ELS can still crash at random times depending on your specs.
