Spitfire7 reacted to WithLithum in I lost everything!!! Help!!!You can't play GTA V without logging into RGSC. You can't unless you have backup - RPH can help you, but it is only meant for playing LSPDFR while waiting for an update. No one is smarter than Rockstar's lawyers.

Spitfire7 got a reaction from 0sc4r in Lets make an authentic ELS LAPD Crown Vic. Team up with me.Well anywhere from like 2007-2011 I guess would work. That year that was the longest running LAPD car with the Arjent bar and hubcaps.

Spitfire7 got a reaction from 11john11 in Scuds' CA stuffWell that's exciting. How about the ELS lighting? Its been so frustrating since there have been only a few ELS LAPD cars, but they all seem to miss it with the 3 stage lighting setup. Its so unrealistic. I have been willing to help, but no one trusts no body anymore these days and since GTA V, I have been out of the modding game for a little while, but in GTA IV, I have a long list of cars and was a pretty popular modder back then with highlighted cars every other month. So, I would be glad to help or fine tune the LAPD especially since I lived in LA for a huge part of my life and was constantly getting videos for other modders making CHP/Culver City/El Segundo/LAPD etc.
LAPD lighting goes like this for the Crown Vics Arjent bar.
Stage 1: single rear amber lights ONLY and nothing else O - - - - - and - - - - - O
Stage 2: Double rear amber lights and now front Red/Blue steady burns OO - - - - and - - - - OO
Stage 3: All lights in code 3 mode.
Takedowns should be option ] and side alleys Alt-] or ] and [, either way.
Simple enough, but no one is doing this, because most don't know how. I did it for my cars and my LAPD car in GTA IV, have a look https://youtu.be/nRvGFffpmpo
If you do this, you will have the ONLY and first authentic LAPD car with ELS for GTA V. So please add this correct 3 stage lighting. Thanks.... Oh and go easy on the in car computer screen brightness. That's always a breaker for me since GTA V now has the auto iris feature. I look forward to seeing what you do with this. If you need help, let me know.

Spitfire7 got a reaction from NeulandInternet in LAPD police car, the real deal this time. Lets do this right!Hey guys, now that ELS is out we can make the cars as authentic as the real deal. This is what I specialize in as I lived in LA for a huge part of my life and I always tried to put the most realism into my cars in GTA IV. I had a long list of cars I made such as the El Segundo, Culver City, LAPD, LSPD, CHP, and many many more all with correct 3 stage lighting setup. All these were perfectly accurate and I want to do it again. So far we have maybe 2 LAPD ELS cars, but sorry to say they are close, but no cigar. Lets do it right this time. Here is the problem. I just upgraded to zmod 3 and I haven't made a police car yet for GTA V. I have all my parts arjent bars, crown vics and you name it, BUT I have no clue on how to import a GTA IV car into zmod3 to convert it for GTA V yet and someone was telling me that I had to do a lot of stuff to convert it. So would someone be willing to help me get my old car into zmod3 and convert it, or would someone want to collaborate with me that already has this all set up for GTA V and I can finalize the lights for ya? Lets do this guys. Come on, don't leave me hangin. The community and myself will all benefit from this.
Here is a quick video of how the first and second stage should be on the real LAPD car. This video is only to show stage 1 and stage 2. Stage 3 pattern is incorrect because I didn't set it up in the config file yet which is a easy fix. Also, it doesn't have the correct LAPD hubcap wheels yes I know and yes that is Tony Stark driving. Lets do this, who's in?

Spitfire7 got a reaction from SeaHawk14 in ELS version for LAPD pack?So far there are a few LAPD cars that work for ELS, but man they just don't know how to do the correct lighting patterns. For GTA IV I was an expert in making the perfect authentic lighting patterns and setups for all my cars. Would someone be willing to allow me to work on their LAPD crown vic to get it correctly set up for ELS V please? Its frustrating since I lived in LA for so long and I keep seeing these releases keep missing it. Its so simple, but I just need a model to work on. Anyone? You would be doing all of us a huge favor.

Spitfire7 got a reaction from Bullboy in Check out ELS for V!I haven't really commented much yet, but here are my thoughts. Its cool to wait and anticipate this. That's always exciting and brings large crowds just waiting to see the unvail. We do this with movies, new electronics, you name it. I run a small business and in my experience my only suggestion to the ELS team is that it is okay to give updates and keep people interested and happy with the best customer service instead of always shutting people down since its free. Silence is not always the best approach. Yes of course I am SELLING a product and a image for my small business and ELS is more your hobby, so I understand the differences, but we can still learn something from the film industry. They have their actors on shows promoting the film, showing clips, constantly bringing it to the public, and getting everyone excited for the RELEASE DATE. That is done for the success of the movie, the actors, and the production companies to thrive and continue in their great endeavor. That is a great way to do it and what most people are accustomed to. We are your fans ELS team, but from reading most comments on here, they feel ignored, not valued, and always left in the dark with losing hope. This is mostly from patience and losing hope.
To the ELS modding team, please don't take the comments from the fans as complaints, but rather see through to the true underlying meaning. They are desperately anticipating this release supporting you guys, but without any attention or feeling valued, but given very little to go on. In my opinion this is bad business ans bad customer relations. I know this is free though, so there is not too much the public can say and we are forced to be left in the dark holding our tongues. That is okay if you want to make your fans feel like that, but like I said, there is nothing wrong with giving minor updates throughout the weeks. Share a little bit of things we already know about, or that might be improved without giving away too much, just giving the people what they want with your wise boundaries. Even with a DVD release there is a set date, with a new phone there is a general date, and most products they gather their fans to follow them anticipating with them, not making them feel discouraged and pushing them away to lose hope. Just my two cents. Take it for what its worth from a successful small business.
I know this is not a business for the ELS team, so please don't post a lot of comments about the differences from business to this game/free hobby, but we can still share in beneficial practices in all aspects of life. I am just trying to help in all of your communication, keeping the peace, and a "give and take" on both sides to keep everyone happy. There is too much of this forced to respect and appreciate the modder, but he doesn't have to respect and appreciate his fans in return ONLY because he's offering something for free. That is unrealistically, unfair, and exalting of one self above the rest. Not saying Lt. Caine or anyone here is doing that, but the elephant in these forums is always that underlying theme. Hope this helps some of you to come to a better understanding, better communication, and a great journey along the way. I am looking forward to the release of ELS and understand they want to put out the product fully functioning. Then life happens and ELS gets put off. That's okay guys, but I think the people would like to know and it makes them feel comfortable. There is nothing wrong with that on either side. Thanks for hearing us out ELS team and I hope you can take some of this into consideration. No one is above the other here, we are all contributing members with ideas, products, opinions, and at the least value. Keep up the great work ELS team.

Spitfire7 got a reaction from Reddington in PEDS GO CRAZY after gun fire. Stop this!!!!I got it working perfectly. Thank you so much for all your help. That was not easy, but we did it. Thank you.
Hey since you seem to know just about everything about GTA V, when I first installed LSPDFR+ it would show the cool court cases. That was really cool. So for just about everything traffic stops, peds, everything it would seem to log it into the court system. Very cool. So now that I have installed new callouts nothing seems to go into the court system anymore. Do only default LSPDFR calls and events go into the court system? Nothing else right? So, if I saw a random homeless guy and I question him and find a weapon and arrest him, this will not go into the court system right?
Thank you Arariel for all your help. You have been so helpful getting me up to date and started with this awesome game. Thank you.

Spitfire7 got a reaction from Reddington in PEDS GO CRAZY after gun fire. Stop this!!!!Don't ask me how or why, but I figured it out. Yes the car has to be in the same dlc pack to apply the modkit. Sabrgt works, and so will buccaneer when its in the same dlc. Crazy huh? Wow, what a journey.
Thank you so much for all your help.

Spitfire7 got a reaction from LukeD in PEDS GO CRAZY after gun fire. Stop this!!!!Awesome thank you Luke. Actually Google has not been a big help to me on anything GTA V related so far. Community has been much more help, but not able to answer most of my questions though. I have had to figure most of my issues out on my own, but this is very helpful.
Do I need both? It seems the "Keep Calm" mod has both options.
I am still trying to figure out how to make a car a add-on instead of a replacement and video and video, and thread after thread don't seem to help. So, your chiming in is truly far more effective than google at this point for a few of my main issues. Thanks very much.
EDIT: Also while you are here, is there any way to make the select key in LSPDFR the NUM5 key instead of Enter? I assume probably not since there is no way to reassign key bindings. Just wondering if maybe I missed a fix or way around this.

Spitfire7 got a reaction from Albo1125 in Playing in offline mode, but still forced to authenticate my account online, HELPWow, what a great idea. Thank you so much for that info. So this is how you currently get around it? I just want to make sure I am doing it the best and right way.
Will there at some point be a mod or something that can finally deactivate social club like in GTA IV? Would be great.
By the way are you the guy who created all the LSPDFR+, arrest manager, etc? If so, I just started using it for the first time tonight and I am blown away how amazing this game is. I cannot believe my eyes. Great job. I just wonder why these things such as frisk, grab onto the arrested ped, and a few other things weren't already implemented into LSPDFR. It makes it complicated to remember all the keys and features when they all come separate you know? Amazing though and the calls are just brilliant. I couldn't believe it that when I showed up at the murder crime scene that we could then go find the murderer. Wow, pure genius on writing this script. Just wow.

Spitfire7 reacted to Qanpicho in HOW TO: Avoid Rockstar UpdatesIf you wanna play this without updating your GTA and you have the Disk version.
Do what he does in this video, just use your GTA5 files instead and be sure to remove those rules when you wanna update your GTA again.
I did this and you can then play in Offline mode on GTA5 Disk version.

Spitfire7 got a reaction from Ekkoinseconds in lcpdfr will not run need help error 'script loader lcpdfr_loader.loader'I FOUND THE FIX!!!
Okay, I just fixed mine and here's what I did. First completely turn off and disable any anti-virus program. LCPDFR as well as several other scripts use a deep rooted Trojan and your Anti virus software will attack it each and every time. This will cause the loader not to load. Then I went to my GTAIV main folder and right clicked the "LaunchGTAIV". Go to properties and then compatibility. Select Run this program in compatibility mode with Windows 7. Then at the bottom select Run as Administrator check box. Start your game and you should be working smoothly. Worked perfectly for me right after that. If I really had to guess, I think it is the Anti-Virus program mixed with the Administrator option. Give it a shot.

Why did people not like a simple 1 click and mouse move like before? Now we have to click, then go to subcategories, then oops I went to far in the subcategories, go back, darn it I cant go back, click through the categories again, and then find my option and then good to go. Darn Ambulance never showed up. Lets do this again. That doesn't make sense to me and doesn't seem like an improvement.
Well my question at least was answered. Also, no where in all the documentation that I read through was it mentioned on how to scroll through the menus. Thank you for your help.
