Well, those shouldn't cause any crashes. I don't know how the different languages work. The "Value not found" just means there is no value for that control in LCPDFR.ini; it will use the default controls when that happens. Your original problem is here: I'm not sure how to fix that, or if you even can. You could try using PreloadAllModels=True in the [Main] section of LCPDFR.ini.

There are places you can look on the internet for some basic knowledge, and then learn how to specifically script for GTA IV from there, but it's not really something you can just pick up and do. The game was on Greenlight, but wasn't actually Green...lit. They got a publisher (Excalibur) so didn't need the Greenlight thing anymore. It's being released as a full game, not early access, but I think there will be updates in the future (but they really are not obligated by anyone to update since it will be a full game). I guess I'll see how the preview works on my never-used MacBook Pro (which is only slightly better than the MadBookTM and DeadBookTM) later tonight. I installed the Windows 8 preview on it when that came out and almost immediately removed it.

LCPDFR already uses all of the street name audio files that are available in the game. Dispatch will update car make and color, street, location, direction of travel, and speed (well the text shows speed, but the audio always says 90MPH) during pursuits. All new audio would have to be recorded to have officers calling in location and street names.

You don't need to open the diagnostic tool to view the logs. They are generated in your main GTA IV folder, and can be opened with any text editor. LCPDFR.log, AdvancedHook.log, AdvancedHookInit.log, ScriptHook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log

Try changing it to something besides B, I just tested it in my game and those ini lines should work fine.

That would need an animation, of which there is not. Unless there's a general "player moves arm while driving" animation...it would hardly be noticeable. Yeah, that makes sense, and is what I figured the problem was after an hour of trying to get it to work in Noose.

I noticed that too, and it doesn't work in every vehicle slot. I tried putting a DROT car in NOOSE and it didn't work, but it works fine in POLICE. Regardless, it looks really nice when it does work.

Setting up a roadblock is defaulted to CTRL-B and backup is ALT-B, make sure you are not pressing both at the same time. If there is still an issue, open LCPDFR.ini and find these settings in the [Keybindings] section and change it whatever free keys you want: CheckpointControlStart=B CheckpointControlStartModifierKey=ControlKey If they do not exist, create them in the [Keybindings] section and set the controls.

I love the DROT feature of ELS so I would have to go with that on LCPD cars. SAHP cars work too, but this isn't SA :P
