Hello, I'm new here! I need help!
Have you tried playing the game? That error should happen after the mod is installed, and the installer is trying to open the Diagnostic Tool. The tool needs to be opened in AdvancedMode for it to work properly. The mod should work in game if everything installed properly.

GFWL Issue
Did you install the GTA IV and/or EFLC updates from the Rockstar website (just google "gta iv patch")?

I put a DROT enabled Fedsig Vector on the default ambulance...AND IT WORKED! This is my first time editing a model and having it work in game...it isn't much but it's a start. -
[SUPPORT REQUEST]scripthook killing certain threads making game crash?
The water thing is insignificant. The threads being killed happens because the game crashed, that is not why the game crashed. (Game crashing caused scripts to be killed, scripts being killed did not cause the game to crash).

[SUPPORT REQUEST]scripthook killing certain threads making game crash?
Some people have said EFLC is more stable, but I'm not sure. I don't know if getting more RAM will reduce crashes...but I guess it's possible.

[SUPPORT REQUEST]scripthook killing certain threads making game crash?
Every game is different. Stability is not guaranteed when you start installing mods. Some people will play with no problems, some people will have nothing but problems.

LCPDFR installed but will not work
The log files are in the main GTA IV directory. Post Asilog.txt, ScriptHook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, LCPDFR.log, AdvancedHook.log, and AdvancedHookInit.log.

LCPD:FR 1.0c not working
It is included with the installation of LCPDFR, check your main GTA IV directory or the LCPDFR folder in the GTA IV main directory (I forget where it goes by default). In the future, create your own topic to ask your question instead of hijacking someone else's. Since the original problem has been solved, I'm closing this topic to prevent further hijacks. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.

LCPDFR Computer interfering with Brucie Mission 1.
No, you cannot. LCPDFR is meant to be installed and played instead of the campaign, not along side it. Edit: I just tested it in game and not starting LCPDFR (not pressing Alt-P) should allow you to use the default computer. Still, it isn't advised to play the campaign with mods installed.

[SUPPORT REQUEST]scripthook killing certain threads making game crash?
ELS is known to cause crashes, try removing that and using only non-ELS vehicles. That's the only thing I can think of based on your information.

A good tutorial that explains how to install the mod
You have to press Alt-P to start the mod after completing at least the first mission.

Harris County Sheriff office deputy killed
I imagine it wouldn't be a priority response, but if the police are called, the police will show up. That's their job, regardless of the call. It could have been someone from out of town that couldn't get a hold of a family member, so they called the police to check on them. I've read through some call reports that are publicly shared on my university's website and a lot of the calls are welfare checks; parents that are calling UPD to check on their child, since they can't. RIP Deputy Valdez.

getting mod to work ingame!
Based on how quickly you posted after I told you to post here, and the fact that you gave barely any information, I'm guessing you completely ignored the instructions given to you before creating this topic. You start the mod with Alt-P. If it doesn't work, read on. Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR. You failed to read the instructions before posting in this forum. So we'll remind you of them. Please do the following: Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post. If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following: Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State what solutions you have tried. Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Include as much information as possible. Post your system specifications. Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods. Please note that failure to follow these instructions may cause this thread to be closed.

New to LCPDFR!
To start the mod, you need to press Alt-P after finishing the first mission. If the game is crashing because of LCPDFR then you need to create a new topic in the LCPDFR Support section, which will provide you with some info about common errors.

Rotating coronas with ELS 8
I'm pretty sure the takedown coronas will always face forward. I'm no car modeler...but I think the way it works is that the dummies are only for showing where the light is coming from on the vehicle, but doesn't affect where on the environment the light is emitted. From the ELS User Guide, "Similarly to other coronas, takedown coronas will project directional environmental lighting, in this case, to illuminate the front of the vehicle."

0taku's GTA V Styled Lightbar .ini File?
I'm not sure why that would be.

0taku's GTA V Styled Lightbar .ini File?
1. Common problem...some people have said that holding W as you exit the car fixes that. 2. Since it's using the DROT type of PRML now, the patterns are different for the PRML section. DROT uses extra 1 for the lightbar and the other 3 are for other lights on the vehicle. You'll have to look through the different DROT patterns in game to find the one you want. The WRNL and SECL sections should be fine.
