You're going to want to use the AH copy packaged with 1.0d; that should include all features ELS needs (if it didn't, the symptom would likely be a crash, not just something not working). If there are bugs, please create a support thread about it.

 

 

You have those versions wrong. AH 0.29 was in 1.0b; ELS 8 had AH 0.33 (0.29 will not work for ELS 8, and will likely crash, which is the normal result of using a wrong version of a native DLL). 1.0c introduced AH 0.34; 1.0d uses .38, and you need to use the newest one.

 

I originally thought mentioning version numbers would help those troubleshooting but it doesn't seem so.

 

I have the original ELS 8 download and the (Manual Installer) for LCPDFR 1.0d and those are the versions I am given.  My installs do not have the updated ones you have listed.

(the current configuration i have works fine.  No issues to report,  so i am not going to investigate the updated versions or go through a possible reinstall.)

 I did I created one at the start of November because I had the same issue then. I solved it by using the AH supplied with ELS 8.0 since your recommending I use the AH with1.0d I'm just create a new one.

You do realise that 1.0c had the exact same issue. Right? 

It's also not going to be fixed...it's a problem with antivirus software, not the mod.

One question i have about LCPDFR in general since 1.0, are there any way or maybe setting to lower the output of the Randomchat and such sounds? They seem to be unaffected by the game volume settings of course :)

I don't think there's a control in the INI; I'm pretty sure it isn't controlled by the game volume control (the fact that the download contains a bunch of WAV files says to me that it uses its own player to play sound, rather than playing it through IV). You could always turn *up* GTA IV's volume (to match LCPDFR) and turn down the system volume.

Got a crash yeasterday while chasing a guy and rolling over. Restarted the game with the Autosave function and found myself in a patrol car with my partner in the middle of the road. While I was thinking, how great the Autosave function is, my partner left the vehicle, then approached my door, threw me outside, got in, and drove away. I guess he wasn't fond of my driving skills lol.

Could this please be fixed could sam or lms please fix this as this shouldn't happen at all considering its my police vehicle not theirs to run off with as they went off with it and they still had the lights or sirens going where I turned them on trying to stop a suspect anyway the point is this shouldn't happen at all and they atleast need to get their own cruiser instead of hijacking mine or preferred fix this all together.

It seems like the partner status doesn't get restored, you have to target them and use alt-g to set them as your partner again.

Is the "xlive" ASI loader not included in 1.0d?

It's not selected by default, but it's an option in the auto install.

I use ti play the 095RC2R2.

 

I unistalled everything, include GTA IV.

 

Reinstalled GTA IV again.

And tried to install the LCPDFR 1.0d.

 

Its not working!

 

I notice there is no LCPDFR Install (ASI Loaders) folder.

 

On the gameplay, i see the message: " Error in script 'LCPDFR_Loader.Loader'! "

 

ok... what am i doing wrong?
