recently I went to look if LCPDFR "G17 Media" really owns LSPDFR,LCPDFR, and SAPDFR. If you have ever thought of " TM " being used, meaning they own a Company, and secondly they own a License for the Trademark.

 

Dont know what a Trademark is ?!?!?!

Well a trademark is basicly, like Apple Inc. owning the Iphone since it is a product of theirs. Meaning G17 Media has to be a Company, and then they can name it " TM " behind it. BUT

 is G17Media really a Company or are they just calling themselves a " company " ??!??!!?!? I am very tired of ppl using copyrights and things like that, cause if you have made something great, there will always be someone tryna copy it.... BUT MY POINT IS, IF Jay or if the Development Team of g17 media.com really thought to themselves nobody will tell them to show their license, well I WILL.

Otherwise, you do not own it, meaning you get in trouble with someone.. * not me * since i aint giving a damn, but your profile is getting highly worse than 2 years before.... right now myself and my friends are thinking of not even visiting yall no more.... the thing is if you lied to the public ONCE, THEN THE LIES DON' STOP... MEANING YOU ARE LYING TO US... But what I am wanting, is prove that G17 Media is a company OWNED OF SAM, and that " LCPDFR,LSPDFR, SAPDFR " are owned by you.

What is a trademark?

A trademark is a word, phrase, symbol or design, or a combination thereof, that identifies and distinguishes the source of the goods of one party from those of others.

You don't need a company for it, and the only thing that you need is basically a phrase/logo and a keyboard. 

You'll need to fill in an application, but why will they show the license? Makes no sense at all. 

Please, learn to be nice, and stop nagging about trademark things.

It would be one thing if it was copyrighted, or patented, but it isn't.

Serious question here.... Do you have a mental disability? Because if you honestly do then I personally will no longer respond to you due to the fact that I have a conscience and don't want to upset you. If you don't, then I must say you're clearly misguided. If it's a case of simply being misguided, then it seems as though Vic has done what he can to help you out. I'd only like to reiterate..... Please don't hop on a website and threaten them (even if it wasn't meant as a threat, those were some harsh allegations) without any actual proof of anything. To be honest, its none of our business if they have a trademark or not, its there problem if you use it and they sue you with there license in hand and make you look like a fool ect... I have a suggestion for you, before you fu*k sh*t up for all of us, on the top right of your internet page there's a "X" feel free to click it and never come back. You have that capabilities to not come on this site and go else where if you dont like or agree with something, rather then bitching about things in a forum.

A (unregistered) trademark is something used to group together or promote a brand, a group of services, or whatever.  It is entirely different from a registered trademark, which uses the ® symbol.

 

You do not have to be a company to have trademarks or copyright.  With the number of sites imitating ours (even to the extent of using the same layout and graphics as us), and the extent to which a minority of people in this community thrive on drama (this topic works well as an example), it isn't surprising that we make some attempt to protect the years of hard work that has gone into this project and website.

 

Now, please can we call off the drama and the "yall got 24 hours" crap?  Honestly, Fridays are much better without someone trying to cause a fuss about something as stupid as this.  If the phrase is beating a dead horse, this is burning down an entire stable.

Actually that is probably more wrong than you can imagine. The "TM" mark means the trademark has not been registered and is only granted unregistered trademark rights.
