Hi all, I'm not one for requests normally but I'm hopelessly useless with modelling so I figured I'd give this a try. Would like to see a couple of GTA V cars with the GTA V police light bar, I think most of these are out there unlocked (maybe?):
Kuruma
Radius
Asterope, Surge, or Tailgater (not bothered which)
Will happily work in skins if need be!

A (unregistered) trademark is something used to group together or promote a brand, a group of services, or whatever.  It is entirely different from a registered trademark, which uses the ® symbol.
 
You do not have to be a company to have trademarks or copyright.  With the number of sites imitating ours (even to the extent of using the same layout and graphics as us), and the extent to which a minority of people in this community thrive on drama (this topic works well as an example), it isn't surprising that we make some attempt to protect the years of hard work that has gone into this project and website.
 
Now, please can we call off the drama and the "yall got 24 hours" crap?  Honestly, Fridays are much better without someone trying to cause a fuss about something as stupid as this.  If the phrase is beating a dead horse, this is burning down an entire stable.

"M" by default toggles the stop traffic function which stops all cars in the area. Chances are the function is accidentally being turned on when you do your traffic stop - check the mini-map, if there's a pink circle around you then it's been turned on.

It depends on the car.  A lot of developers now have theirs linked to the emerlights or emerlights_emis textures; which car are you working with?

Here you go, replace emerglights_emise and emerglightse with the attached

It'll be the emerglights texture then; on the bottom left is what appears to be a top down view of the Whelan edge; that's the texture that needs changing. I'm not at my computer atm but I'll have another look at it tomorrow.

I've just had another look, they're definitely mapped to emerglightse, not emerglights.  Did you definitely replace the correct file?

Okay, so when was EVCS announced?  Late January right?  How about ELS.Net?  It was announced last week, right?  
 
Are you expecting to see something arrive within a week of the first public announcement?  If so, perhaps you need to rethink your expectations and think back to the time it took for EVCS to 'arrive' - 2 months later.
 
Here's the thing, ELS.Net is being designed from the ground up as a special or alternative version of ELS.  It uses the same name for a reason, it is for people who want ELS, but don't want the extra parts system.  As such, I'm doing my best, in close collaboration with Lt.Caine (we've exchanged upwards of 100 lengthy messages), to replicate ELS.  Now, if you take time to consider just how complex ELS is (think about the controls, the little touches, the interface...) you might realise that doing so is actually quite a daunting challenge.  
 
This is getting ridiculous, I'm sick of the flaming about all of this, so let me make some things very clear.
 
1.  Contrary to what some people are claiming, EVCS is not the first mod of its kind

That's all they are - alternatives.  Some people will prefer the options of EVCS like livery switching, some people will prefer the features of ELS.Net such as full pattern customisation, exporting and sharing as well as the ELS interface and the rotating light simulation.

DSF Yehicles converted by F5544 tend to be a lot lower poly because he put tons of time into trimming them down, so look for ones based off his conversions.

Wow The name of the topic is "help!" and when someone with nothing but good intentions like Tom ( who has helped dozens of people with their problems btw) tries to answer your question, you just go and insult him? Okay. Stop it right now with debating who knows more about how scripting works. It's stupid and doesn't get anywhere.
I am reasonably sure that Wait() won't pause the game in a tick. Looking at the GTA natives, it knows what threads are, and I am quite certain that SHDN runs scripts in threads. One nice thing about threading is that threads can pause without crashing the game. Per frame, it may hold the frame until it's done.
Remember that SHDN scripts are a step removed from the game. SHDN manages them, and can do stuff to help keep them from messing with the game. For example, it can deal with many script crashes gracefully (whereas ASI scripts with errors just crash the game). Keeping waits from pausing the game seems like something it would do.

Try turning down your graphics settings. If that doesn't work the mods you are using might be too high quality for your computer to handle.

The easiest way is to use SparkIV/OpenIV to extract the existing texture and edit that; it's usually fairly obvious what part of the texture shows up where.

You can also check for non-ELS cars in general.

ELS-H means ticking "Halogen-only" in the ELS.ini file for that particular car.

That's because the vehicles are missing some sorta texture for the lights, the indicaters work just fine. I didn't change anything with the models, they're straight from TLAD and TBoGT without any edit.
