How did you find out about LCPDFR?

Featured Replies

So, Yeah, How did you find out about LCPDFR? Who brought you too it, showed you, or just how did you find out about it?

Me: I started out watching xaPKPax's video's and then started playing LCPDFR. (After way to many computer upgrades) When xaPKPax stopped making videos he mentioned a guy called BayAreaBuggs. Turns out that his channel would become a big success and I have been a fan of his videos as well as all of the other CodeZer0 Gaming members. So ultimately it was xaPKPax that got me into LCPDFR

Also I would like to thank all of the G17 Team and all of the modders out there for making GTA IV into so much more of an adventure!

+1 for xaPKPax! The LCPDFR legend!

  • It's always been LCPDFR.  I don't really know where the colon came from actually, lots of people just started putting it like that.  I guess adding the colon makes more sense, but I prefer it without.

  • I was trying to find a game I played as a child, googled "playstation 1 police game", couldn't find anything back then. I went to youtube after that and searched the exact same thing and some how foun

I started out playing around with police car modding, still playing the bad guy. From there, I drifted onto GPM, and from there, found people talking about this "LCPD:FR" thing. That's how I found out.

Speaking of which: I know it used to be LCPD:FR. Is it now just LCPDFR, no colon?

i was cruising around youtube videos idk of what but came across the old lcpdfr version and watched a chase and thought damn thats cool i gotta get this...then bought the game off ebay and tried to install it on my 2006 toshiba...big fail so i just put it away for few years and was time to get a another laptop since the previous one broke and got a 2009 laptop and was able to install the game but was laggy as hell then eventually upgraded to another laptop which is a quad core...but yeah thats how i found out about it

I first started out searching random police videos, I used to always watch gangrenn's videos. They were amazing. I saw GTAPoliceBoys a while back, like a year or two ago. Then I saw one by Predatores (I think that is Unr3al on here) Then I kinda left it alone, until around the beginning of 2012, I started watching them again, a few by KPax then I decided to buy it. I had to convince my parents that I wasn't going to use it for the car stealing and all that stuff. They let me have it. Then I got an account on here, and I have been here ever since.

NBVideoGameVids inspired me to check it out. "He freed the first of us." I made a few of my own videos for fun, then made the lengthy walkthrough videos to educate people on some of the new beta features. It made my account blow up with e-mails, personal messages and subscriptions. I'm still usually getting 1-2 per day even though it's been quite a while since my last GTA IV video.

From a member of a totally unrelated forum nothing to do with GTA IV let alone LCPD:FR, he'd posted a video of himself playing LCPD:FR and also wrote a small Tutorial where to download what to download and how to install. So here I am and i'm afraid your probably stuck with me now (sorry 'bout that) lol.

I always dreamed of a gaming PC that could run GTA; I watched A LOT of Grand Theft Auto IV videos and stumbled upon LCPDFR. Been waiting a few years to be able to get a PC that can run it on low!
