When Rage does get updated, is it going to be from the RPH site or will we have to re-download LSPDFR to update Rage? I'm sure you'll let us know as a message banner on the this site but just checking if you knew so we know what to look out for.

This is interesting. Let me see if i understand this right. For example, in Ultimate Backup you have the option to call out a Supervisor. I want to Supervisor to come out dressed in a certain way with certain gear and stuff. I find how I want the Super to look through EUP. Once I have it then i have to try to figure out how to convert it to the way UB would read it. That takes a lot of time and I think with the new EUP version some id's are different than before. So I guess once you have the uniform done in EUP then you save it, close game, go into the EUP custom wardrobe XML or something like that where it has the id's set. Copy/Paste into your converter and it will automatically write it out in a way LSPDFR or UB reads it. Then copy that into the XML, whichever mod you want it in. That's the long version of how it works? That's cool. In UB, you can call the type of medics where they come out in an SUV and sometimes they come out wearing tanks. This is a medical emergency, you don't need tanks. I know where to change the uniforms and can get how I want it in EUP but that conversion is the wall you run into. About time someone came up with this. Thanks Sebo! One more thing. How about if you want that person a Male or Female or 50/50 when they come out? In LSPDFR there is a mp_m_freemode_01 and mp_f_freemode_01 for Male/Female. Is there a way to do that?- 30 comments

Cyan replied on page one of this thread but said he is not too familiar with the apartment system and because of the holidays they all don't have time right now. I think Sam does the Apartment part. It's all just bad timing. Rock* put out this huge update Dec 12(?) and LSPDFR updated it Dec 19 and Scripthook updated shortly after that. By Dec. 19th everyone is in a pinch and a bind because of the holidays. It is what it is. They'll get it fixed. In the meantime, I just mess around in Story mode. Game will still launch using the GTAV Launcher and since the root game folder is modded, somethings you changed still show up like a trainer. Maybe go into God mode, get some heavy weapons through trainer and go mess around on Zancudo Military Base.

Yup, that's what I was asking. Unfortunately, I can't get in game to change that. Crashes just before going in game. Thanks anyway!

Where do you change the spawn location since I can't get in game. I thought I was it in a file somewhere but can't find it now.

Maybe someone left those vehicles behind from a car show there the way they're positioned. 😄 Ok, I'll try that. Thanks! Oh ok, that sounds like a good idea too. I'll probably just set my spawn to a Police Station so I don't have to teleport to a station. Unless I want to take a scenic drive on my way to work. 😃

Hate to be another crash reporter but I'm actually having this problem to. I did install the Dec.19 update but still crashes. For me i can't even get into the game. When it zooms into your safe-house it crashes. I tried a few things including the popular, rename or remove the mods folder but same problem. RagePluginHook.log

It's the intimidation. Select that. Then when you want to use it press CapsLock.

Is this the first time you changed the color to the site? I don't remember a color change like this in the last 3 years I've been on here. Nice color change for the season. And all the words are still read-able. 👍

Try if you haven't, to OpenIV. When you're in it might say you have an outdated mods folder. Looks like this. If so, updated it.

I can't remember if this solves the problem but in the Rage setting console, click Game Settings then Command Line Switches and Check the Force Windowed Mode.

I'm on Windows 10 and I get a little notice in my taskbar saying a free upgrade to Windows 11 is available. I'm one for letting others try it and then maybe I'll go for it. Don't want another Windows 8 😄. Could probably be questioning if GTAV will work on Windows 11. I think it would. Some old games that worked on XP don't run on newer Windows. Maybe that is the concern.

Neat video about 26 minutes of what goes on in the day of an LAPD officer in 1991. With a few "questionable" looking people looking like Easy-E, lol. Well this was NWA time period. The music video "Straight Outta Compton" has LAPD vehicles that look like the ones in this video. Same time era. Quite a difference how they dealt with people back then compared to now. Back when you might not have liked the Police but you did do what they said and didn't give them any crap.

Yeah, when you see those gamers on YT you might start wanting some of their equipment. They have been doing their thing for a few years and have build a fan base where they are making decent money so they can invest in those things. Or if they are really really popular some companies will give them free stuff in return for using it on a future video and giving credit. I am just talking about equipment like headsets, multi monitors, joysticks, steering wheels to make it a real cool experience. I personally am just a keyboard and mouse player. Yup, not even a controller for me. I wouldn't might at least a controller but it would be learning it, configuring it and key changes to optimize it the best. That's more then I want to figure out right now. I still get a pretty cool running game with mods/plugins, addon vehicles and I have a mid-range desktop. Sure, LSPDFR, RAGE or GTAV will crash at times, some more frequent than others and there are plugins that should be avoided because they are outdated. So check out Rich's link. You don't need a gaming computer to play lspdfr.

Um, that file I linked should have fixed that. I'm not sure. Let me think what else maybe the problem.

Your title says "No Rage Log since it only terminates". Your screen shot is part of the Rage Log. That is found in your Main GTAV folder. The log for your last played or attempted to play is titled RagePluginHook and it's a Text Document type. All older RPH logs after that are in the Logs folder.

Need more information then that. Who said you have to make a copy? You need a legit copy of GTAV by Retail version or Stream or you can't play.

I installed EUP 8.2 a few months ago and that wasn't a problem for me. There is this file that should correct that.

I think I got that after an update a few months ago. That message could be related to a few things. If things were working before the update then it's not an antivirus problem. Some people have live scanning from their antivirus and that is sometimes a problem. I see you said you don't have that but I'm just throwing it out there for others. Might OpenIV and see if there is a message about an outdated mods folder where you would need to update the update.rpf. A few months ago after trying everything I just reinstalled RAGE and then it worked.

If it is one where you put it in the plugins folder only then when you start Rage click on Rage's "gear icon" for settings and make sure the plugin is checked so it loads when you start the game. If it is a callout then it would be installed in the plugins/lspdfr folder. Those should load when you get in game automatically. What plugins do you have installed?

The only fun pursuits are in this game 😃. I've watched numerous pursuits on TV News Channels and some are hard to watch because the suspect is going wayyy too fast, you just know it's going to end bad. Most of the time it ends fine no innocent bystanders hurt or killed. Our main city police will call off the ground units and just have AIR track them because the suspect is going way too fast. Maybe if ground pulls and keeps way back then the suspect might slow down. You know that, haha. Drunk or not if the speed is too high then they may back off. There are a few videos on youtube where a city didn't have an Air Unit and the speed was too fast and going for a while where PD decided to just back off and end the pursuit, let them go. I think the main decision was what was the main traffic stop for? Just a minor traffic violation? Don't need to risk them crashing and killing innocent people for that. I hate to see people like that get away but sometimes it just the safest thing to do.

I've had that happen to. In my case it was an AI traffic stop in the area. In Paleto Bay there is a traffic stop that spawns in the Ammunition parking lot. I use RadianceV and it's not perfect but for the most part I'm fine with it. Maybe I'll look for something different. Anyway, where a traffic stop has spawned, I've seen the lights bouncing off buildings 2-3 buildings down the road and bouncing off the building walls where there is no way lights could reflect from that angle. It's just a problem with some visualsettings like RadianceV. Look around the area and there should be an AI traffic stop where the AI has their lights on. Once you get close to the stop, the AI is just finishing up and the officer goes back to his car and turns the lights off. Then you could go back to that area where you were and the lights should be gone. It has to be a traffic stop around the corner somewhere.

I had that exact problem. When selecting all weapons it would give all but once I aim one of the weapons, it crashes with no log. I would only select all weapons when I was messing around off duty. The only way I found was to manually select the weapons through the trainer and save your selections through the trainer. Other than that, there is no fix that I know of.
