Longest I've waiting was a week. That's the longest for me in the past 2 years. Just play regular GTAV in the mean time. Hopefully you have a non-modded backup version?

LSPDFR has a timer for the hold up Robberies and the default time is a bit short. I see it partly realistic because if you don't get there in time (like real life, lol) then they would have left the building but still be on that street/block. If you're not too late then you might see someone running when you get there and just drive to them and the game should say that you found the suspects and a blip should create on the mini map. There is a line in the settings that you can change but I don't know what number to put. Change the number and see what happens in game. In you LSPDFR folder and then the lspdfr ini, if you don't have this line then put it in your lspdfr.ini. Holdup.TimeMultiplier = 1.0f I never got around to changing the number so I wouldn't know what to expect. But, here is a link, from this site, that tells you about it.

Next time instead of deleting your mods folder, use Open IV and see if you need to just update the mods folder. Open IV will tell you at the top if you have an outdated mods folder and would you like to replace it. Usually that will fix any errors that are related to the mods folder. It is the update.rpf that gets outdated after a R* update. I don't know what to say about the texture problem now. Also, I had to do a game verify files after a drive change on my computer. I couldn't get the game to load. I have retail version and I went into my Rockstar account and did the game verify there. Took hours but it did fix it. Apparently, I had a registry key problem after the game files move I did.

LSPD from Oscars LAPD car pack based off of LAPD. Cover most of the city. LS County Sheriff based off of LA County Sheriff. They patrol the hills on each side of the mountains until it gets to the Blaine County line. Blaine County Sheriff not really based off of anything but the vehicle pack I used (just 3 vehicles) I actually saw a real life patrol vehicle of that vehicle pack but I couldn't tell what department it was. Wasn't part of the agencies in that area so I don't know. Maybe some small town i don't know. I'll try to find the link to that pack. SAHP based off of CHP using the Hurk,s vehicle pack. But there is no HP station in the game. There is an old mod on here that changes the skin to the Paleto Bay Sheriff station to a SAHP station with the CHP look. Then I go into the station.XML and change that to SAHP so the game see it has a HP station and will spawn a couple of my HP addon vehicles there sometimes when I drive by. Only problem is I can't change the uniforms (EUP) of the 2 sheriffs deputies in the back. I have custom uniforms using EUP that are slightly different than the EUP presets. State Park - whatever Park Ranger vehicles looks good. So I only have 5 departments in game to keep the modding simple. All sheriffs station are for the LSSD and the others in the city are for LSPD.

Looks like all his plugins were updated Aug. 2 So if you haven't updated them since then, then update all of his you have.

In the Rage settings, somewhere under one of the tabs, there is a box you can check that says Open in Windowed Mode or something like that. Check that box, save and try it. If that doesn't work I think there is another box to check somewhere but I can't remember which one. I don't have Rage installed right now so I can't check.

I removed most of Albo's mods/plugins because they were too glitchy because it was so outdated. The only thing I kept in was Smart Radio. When I loaded the game it said you must have Traffic Policer to use Smart Radio. I just go rid of smart radio, wasn't using too much anyway. So you could install Traffic Policer but you would have to disable 90% of the features in the ini. So I think you can still use Smart radio but you have to have Traffic Policer also.

In the root game folder go to lspdfr folder / data folder and open the Agency file. There you can swap out the vehicles in the different areas. You just have to know the vehicle id example Police, Police2, Police3

I use to see the new Diamond Casino Building in Story Mode when playing LSPDFR. Check my avatar. That is Diamond in the background when playing LSPDFR. I got the building in story mode after the R* update that installed the building in 2019. When playing Story it took a few weeks for the new Casino to show up regularly. Sometimes the old one would still be there and sometimes the new one would be. Then I always saw the new one when playing. You couldn't go in there, it was just the building. By the front doors, the windows made it seem like you could see it inside but not clearly. There is a ladder on the side of the building to go up to the roof. All this was in Story mode. I had to move the game to a new drive on my computer a few months ago and I had a tough time getting it to run. I installed retail version, automatically updated everything, and it still wouldn't run. Had to do a game verify files through my R* account, that took 16 hours to verify. Then it finally loaded and worked. Something was messed up in the registry files for the game. Anyway with all that done a couple months ago, I've been playing Story Mode and up to about 45% complete and every time I go by the Casino it show the old Be Lucky Casino not the New Diamond. Again, you couldn't go in but the building was there in Story mode. It's not showing up now. Anyone know why? It was there when the game was on my old drive after that Casino update a couple years ago. Can't find anything online about why it's not showing up.

Pilots have reported that they have seen someone with a Jetpack flying in their vicinity at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). A place where there is a lot of air traffic, you should not be flying drones and including Jetpacks. If you watch Jeff Favignano, Bay Area Buggs , Dammit Dave, Zach Houseknecht and a couple others, at the end of their episodes of Five PD they have been shooting down a Jetpack Man and that is just how they end their episodes. According to this article Rockstar will be releasing a huge update on Nov. 11. Usually we don't get informed about updates. This is 6 months away. Wonder how mach space it'll take up. When I first started this mod, this was the most I've ever modded a game. A lot of learning and figuring out stuff. But, what kept me going was really wanting to play the police side and with this website there are so many plugins/add ons to make the game better. So I stuck with it and figured it out. I'm not considered a gamer but I would like to stream more but my upload speed stinks making it lag. Maybe 1 day I'll be able to afford faster upload speed or figure out a work around. Do you have an antivirus or live scanning software that might have removed that .exe file? Some antivirus and live scanning sofware will automatically remove and block lspdfr and/or RPH .exe files because it sees it as a threat but it's really not. You might mark these files as Safe or Exception and try to download and install it again.

Before this gets locked, let me throw this in. We need and like people like you Astro Cop, who like to play LSPDFR. People like us who play LSPDFR is what is keeping this alive. Authors are still uploading their plugins (vehicles, callouts, ect.) and still updating their stuff. So, we like when new folks join this cool mod. Once the new version of GTA? comes out, then well see what happens. This site looks like it started with GTAIV then went to GTAV. So, I'm hoping when the new version comes out the staff will work on getting LSPDFR to work with the new version. Again, whenever that will be. AND, again, we need people like you who play the game. A few of these posts are playful like Bastion said but you seem ok with it and understandable. I don't know what happened here. I guess you it a "nerve" with some of us. HAHA.

I just recently had to do that same thing. I moved my game to another drive for space reasons. I have retail and I just did a fresh install because I was having too many issues with LSPDFR. After the install to another drive and updates I still couldn't get GTAV to load. I did the verify the integrity of game through the GTAV Launcher and after taking 15 hours to do that it finally loaded and is fine on my new drive. Before that, I tried to just move the game files to the other drive but then it wouldn't load and was getting some error message. I saw online that you need to change the registry keys to show the new game path. Changed that and it still didn't work. So seems like verifying integrity fixed it but it took a long time for me.

I've noticed that maybe about a year ago when that started. Before that, if you had STP you could say True/False for peds or Drivers to panic or not when a gun is point at them or/and when shots are fired. What happened before was when guns shots go off the AI hits the gas, going forward and slams into everyone including you and the officers. Not very realistic and a major pain. So I would set STP Drivers to not panic when shots go off. So they just sat there. Peds can panic and run all over and not kill you doing so so I left that on. Now I noticed, from months ago, that the peds are abandoning their vehicles. After a shoot out, you have all these abandoned vehicles that you could, if you want, clean up (call Tow or Insurance to pick up). But that's a huge pain also. I don't know who changed that, LSPDFR or STP. I wish there are those options in the ini and you could just chose which you want.

I have seen those types of vehicles in the Downloads sections here of on GTA5 mods.com. I don't have time to find though right now. I've seen them on MFive also but those vehicles are non ELS. I've seen other than normal vehicles being played by StevetheGamer55 and Jeff F when they are playing LSPDFR on Youtube. I don't think I have seen a pack of those types of vehicles but they are out there individually. A lot of times when these authors create vehicles, they create them with the livery of where that vehicle is used. I don't think I've seen a PD Jaguar here in America. Hey, look at all these replies. You must have asked the right question. I personally don't reply to certain questions even though I might be of help. I don't reply because I just got tied of answering the same question over and over. OR, they just aren't trying what you suggested, example; game not loading, turn off your antivirus. I did that still doesn't load. Several posts later, oh I found the problem, had to turn off my antivirus. Well, Boy Genius isn't that what I told you earlier? You said you tried that and it didn't work so what did you do when you said you tried that? Did you stick your finger up your nose instead of turning off your antivirus? Ugg, ok I'm ranting but that is one reason why we don't reply. When I started 2 years ago at this I didn't get too many replies that fixed the problem so i just did an internet search for my problem and found the answer somewhere else. I have noticed less responses in posts but I don't think the site is dying. I think it's ok. Maybe a slow spell. There seems to be plenty of new members joining this community. I'm guessing their busy playing the game instead of checking the forums.

Here is another Police Impersonator. I posted another one a while back. There are a bunch on YouTube but I usually happen to see recent ones. Here is one from a week ago out of Whitehall, Ohio. An Officer noticed a CV Umarked with Red and Blue Lights and that seemed out of place. Little more than an hour long video. Interesting to see how they work this out. One reason why I support Body Cams.

Oh ok. I haven't played any of those. Actually this is the only game I've played that has regular updates some I guess I am somewhat new to this area. Original Game install is about 60gb and updates are totaling to 98gb so I thought adding those 2 together would give you 158gb of space taken but with all updates installed, the main games folder totaled 98gb. So I guess I misunderstood how those updates affect the space of the Drive.

So, I had to reinstall GTAV onto another drive and I have the retail version. After the new install, I had to download/install the new GTAV Launcher. Then the updates start. Let's round it off to 98Gb of updates. About 6 hours on my 12MB DL speed. Hope I don't have to do this again. When GTAV came out, like i said I have retail, and it required 60Gb of free space on 7 dics. Years later here, it's at 98gb of updates. I don't think I've seen a game where updates passed the original space requirements. Interesting to me. Of course. I've only played about 15 PC games in the past 23 years. I think my first game was Titanic: Adventure Out of Time and I still have it. Can only play it through a mod that supports Windows XP because that game came out around the Windows 98 era.

Ha, I never really thought about looking to see if anyone else has DLC Packs. I'm about to use LML. I've had to just reinstall everything fresh. Is LML "user friendly"? Albo's was easy to use after reading the instructions.

Yeah, Albo stopped updating his mods and are Open Source now but no one really updates his stuff because Bejoijo Ultimate Back Up and Stop the Ped covers most of Albo's mods. I did use Albo's DLC Modding Pack for installing vehicles but there is Lenny's Mod Loader (LML) that does that now. It's on here but don't have time to connect link. Albo's Smart Radio requires Traffic Policer to work and I don't think it's worth it. Traffic Policer had a custom pullover feature that I really but someone actually made a small plugin called Custom Pullover that does what Albo's did. It's on here also.

So, I running out of space on my Main Drive where GTAV/LSPDFR is. Would be nice to keep it there since my Main (C) is a SSD with PCIe connection. Really good speed wise but it is only 500GB and you know this game alone is a GB hog. I bought a 2TB SSD SATA and I think I'll have to put the game on that. I also have a 1TB HDD put I think SSD is the way to go with games. I don't want to Move the game files. I'm going to do a fresh install on everything and probably swap out plugins that aren't needed anymore. I'm going to use LML to install the vehicles and stuff, before I was using Albo's DLC Modding Pack. As I setup the game on the new ssd drive I would like to use the one on my main until the other is completely setup. Problem I see is that you will have the game on 2 different drives on your computer. I have retail version so can I do a fresh install on the new drive? One problem is with OIV because it requires that it be linked to the game path. How do I change paths back and forth between the 2 in OIV? Any other problems that might come up doing that? Any advice on how to do that would be great.
