  1. Question: What happens if we don't have EFLC? Will we not be able to use the helicopter function? Also, do you think you could make it so that when you attempt to tow emergency vehicles, it would send the relevant person out to drive it away? I'd settle for just cop cars doing that.
  2. Actually, all keys are visible (and changeable) in the included INI file.
  3. Hmm, could be that the SUV shown there is set up like a van and has the 3rd and 4th passenger slots in the back. Either set up on purpose, or they neglected to use a modified vehicle.ide line for it.
  4. Most likely not, but you can use SNT to spawn multiple bodyguards, using whatever model and weapons you want.
  5. There's the " that includes new Medic and Fireman variations, and adds a mask to the firefighters. " (also the ") and " add new variations and voices (optional) for cops. All uniforms are based on the default Liberty City uniforms.
  6. Had a script crash while using the in-car breath test.
  7. Not sure if it's just my system, but using a graphics tweak makes my game run better than the original settings.
  8. Do you use a graphics tweak? The static can be a side effect of one of those and certain versions of the game.
  9. Both types of FDLC assistance are crappy, at best. If they manage to actual show up to the spot you want them to, they aren't set up to be that helpful. My advice is to check out Abraxas's METT mod as a replacement for the Ambulance. They'll revive any downed people, and remove dead bodies as well. Braveheart is also working on adding an Ambulance function to the next version of his Policing script, so that will be an option as well. As for the Firefighters, there's no functional alternative right now, but maybe some coders will look into it at some point.
  10. Do you think it'd be possible to change the Alderney Fire Stations in the same way?
  11. That one was alright for ambiance for after an explosion, but it doesn't help us stop a huge chain reaction of explosions and put out the fires.
  12. After the vehicle explodes, they will try their best to put the wreck and any ground fires out. They will not put out a vehicle that has not exploded unless it happens to be in the way of previously mentioned things. They also might drive in the opposite direction and never get there. We have mods that can replace the ambulance function (I use the Coroner mod for that, and Braveheart is planning on an ambulance function in his next Policing version), so maybe a fire truck script can be possible. Currently, there's no good option.
  13. F7 is used to enable/disable LCPDFR's callouts. I believe the default key for Braveheart's mod is Alt+Delete, which will clear any current callout as well as starting them in the first place.

  15. Sometimes they'll be lying on the ground dying, so it's always good to check.
  16. I'm not sure of the order, all I know is that when I made myself "availible" again after the METT crash, BH's callouts didn't resume. This memory thing is absolutely frustrating, and sloppy on R*'s part. I've got 2 Gigs of VRAM, and 9 system RAM; running the game on low settings with regular poly model cars and peds sjhould be a breeze. Hopefully V is better ported.
  17. Just the script crashed; I was able to reload it. Soon after Braveheart's callouts stopped working, and after accidentally hitting the Start Menu button, I had texture loss happening. I didn't notice if anything from Traffic Spawner wasn't working correctly. I wasn't having any problems the last time I was playing with the script, so I think everything kind of built up this time.
  18. Not that I'm aware of, but it'd be great if possible.
  19. Abraxas, thank you SO much for this mod. With it and Tow Service, I can finally clear an incident scene and let everything go back to normal. Had a humorous moment when the team screeched to a halt and nailed an injured person lying on the ground. They decided that "impact with a vehicle" was the cause of death. That made me laugh. Edit: Whoops, had a crash. Peds stood around for awhile, then this script crashed. === [3:01:04 AM] === METT/Coroner Mod ERROR: Ticker function crashed === Info ========== Game: GTAIV Game version: v1070 Multiplayer: False Mod version: 0.9.5 === Status ========== Status:40 Error: GTA.NonExistingObjectException: Invalid call to an object that doesn't exist anymore! at GTA.Ped.get_Position() at vdH.MedicalExaminer.MedicalExaminer.MedicalExaminer_Tick(Object sender, EventArgs e) This was after a shootout at Francis. Plenty of abandoned cars around.
  20. It's not the same Speedo "Van" though, since it still has the Not sure if that would work. Is it model related, or texture related? I can handle the latter no problem, but I've got no clue on model tweaking.
  21. I'm using the Speedo Ambulance from the download section, and when it gets dirty, it turns almost completely grey. Anything I can do to fix it, or is it an issue with the model?
  22. I say don't fret. Unless a good amount of people are suffering from crashes, chalk it up to an unstable system/game. My game crashed way before using any of your mods.
  23. Ugh, memory issues. Probably not much that can be done about that, except for hoping that GTA5 is less of a mess. I've had random CTDs unrelated to a specific action on my part, plus a few crashes using Road Block or Request Patrol Car, so any failsafes that can be implemented would be great. Problem is you'd have to hope the game doesn't just crap out on its own.
  24. One issue: Whenever the ambulance is "dirty", it turns almost completely grey.
