  1. Police Helper will have this function, along with sending someone to fix your car if you don't need a new one.
  2. No, they just drive towards the target ped and exit the vehicle when they get close enough (which is still ridiculously far most times).
  3. I have no clue about anything ELS, but is that maybe the Strobe mod instead?
  4. I would almost pay you money if you did actually find a way to add computer functions to one of those vehicles.
  5. I wouldn't say that TLoad is for high end computers. It's pretty much the same as TFlow except it randomly chooses cars (20 is default, but you can have more or less) from the entire set of cars, instead of the preset 20 cars. I suppose it may have caused some crashes if I linger in an area with a bunch of traffic jammed up, but otherwise no problems, and my GPU is pretty substandard.
  6. Not sure if they can be made to work, as no one has done it yet. Maybe they can add in support in LCPDFR for other vehicles sometime in the future..
  7. Ah, good. Thanks for the info.
  8. Hey, DLer, what happened to your pack? Seems to have disappeared from the files section.
  9. I believe you have to aim at them when you press the F-key so the script knows which one to send a unit for.
  10. I believe the answer is "probably not and never will".
  11. That happens when they aggro on a ped. Happens to me with just FR so it's not a problem with this script.
  12. For the sounds, I suppose you just could not copy those files over. Best thing to do would be to make a full copy of the LA mod into a second folder, and then just install SGs over that. I'm out of my league when it comes to actually modding the files, so I'm not sure how you can pick and choose.
  13. Lost it when they both got out and started pushing.
  14. I suggest SG's Submod. It's got a lot of great additions, especially if you like being able to dispatch from the scene. It's compatible with the later version of the LA mod, so don't let the v1.9 fool you.
  15. You shouldn't have to use the console to turn it on when loading the game. As for spawning, you may not see them all the time as they could spawn out of view and despawn before you ever encounter them. Use "TsbDbgOn" and it will throw a dot on the radar for each vehicle it spawns. Also, go through your list using ForceSpawn setname to see if they immediately disappear, as there bugs with some setups.
  16. Abraxas, just had a thought about another mod function, if possible. Something like towing, but for corpses. I use part of the vehicle cleanup mod that forces cars past corpses, but I'd like to call in an ambulance, or maybe any vehicle chosen, to come and clean up corpses.
  17. Very nice, though I have a small nit-pick. The lights on the back of the lightbar flash opposite of what they should, e.g. red flashes blue and vice versa.
  18. Yes please, especially the Buffalo skins. I have mine spawning with Black/Gold State Trooper traffic cops, so that skin would be perfect. (Hopefully we'll get a modified Stinger eventually so I can do the same there.)
  19. Pretty easy, just replace everything in the line after "POLPAT" in handling.dat with whatever the car mod came with, or use something from "Sgt. Kanyo's Handling Mods" in the content modification forum. Example of how it would look with one from that thread: POLPAT 2505 0.363 85 0.0 0.0 -0.12 0.5 4 0.16 5.0 240 0.45 0.55 0.6 33 1.5 1.2 12 0.12 0.48 3.0 1.9 1.9 0.15 -0.08 -0.025 0.44 2.0 1.0 2.2 2.4 0.0 50000 440010 0 0
  20. The game and LCPDFR only recognize FBI, Noose, NStockade, Police, Police2, Police3, Police4, PoliceB, PolPatriot, PStockade. No other slot will have working lights and sirens, nor will they be treated as a police vehicle.
  21. Best way is to find "cargrp.dat" in "commondata" and make sure the model name does not show up in anything other than "# POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS".
  22. Best to keep it separate. It's not crucial to the functioning of LCPDFR, and people, like me, may prefer other solutions currently. It's pretty much designed to use flatbeds as it loads the vehicle onto the back of the truck. The default trucks work well enough, but I suppose using one that looks more like a tow truck makes sense, though it wouldn't have lights.
  23. Since installing RC2, I think I've had one or two truly random pursuits happen. I usually force them through the Alt-F12 menu; they seem really rare.
