Some of the "/" key light modes also don't use the voices, too.

Yeah, I have a mod that severely reduces the amount of cops that spawn (used with Arrest Warrant from GTAForums), but I have TrafficSpawner to balance it out with additional vehicles. I usually never call for backup other than a chopper, so I'm pretty comfortable with not having an entire precinct with me.

I have a handling mod that give better braking, so my drivers are a little better at not running lights, but traffic on the highways is still pretty nasty. If we could find a way to up the distance that they detect lights and other cars, it's probably work much better.

For me, it stops at them going out everyday with the possibility of losing their lives to save another; that's all I need to respect them. Yes, as in any group, there are bad apples, but people treat bad cops like an epidemic. The media blows stories out of proportion, anti-cop groups latch on to them and spread their propaganda, all while ignoring the lawlessness that goes on around them.

I think he wants the lightbar from the GTA3 cruiser made into ELS and non-ELS versions.

Thanks for making one for the Swift. I had never come across that model, and now I have a heli that supports liveries.

That's above my pay-grade, unfortunately. I've been hoping that Ekalb would work his magic with the Merit, but Caine left it locked unlike the Vapid, so it would need more work converting the game model again.

I liked the NJ-styled livery DerangedSomali made for the CVPI, but since I like to keep with the style (and poly count) of Rockstar's vehicle designs, I did a quick and dirty cut/paste/edit for the various vehicles I use. I came up with the slogan to go along with LCPD's, but using the terribly inappropriate acronym "DOA". Includes liveries for Lt. Caine's Merit Patrol and Vapid Cruiser (the Vapid skin also works on Ekalb's Vapids), a livery for any of Ekalb's Buffalo models and his Vincent, and one for F5544's Landstalker.

Just checked the file page on GTAPM and, sure enough, the screenshots contain the line. Bummer, but I guess its not anything to worry about anymore.

Odd that it doesn't show up viewing it in OpenIV, though.

While working on some New Alderney liveries, I've noticed that the vehicle has an odd stripe that overlaps with the livery. In OpenIV, the line on the side doesn't appear, but as the picture shows, it does pop up in game. I have to run at low settings, could that be the issue? Any ideas?

I know they do using the FR function, but using 911 as Niko, they just either heal you, or leave shortly after arriving if you aren't hurt. I've never actually tried dialing 911 while using FR, so I'm just guessing.

Phooey. Just adding police_sign_5 didn't work, so it looks like its limited to what the model is set up for, so maybe its hard limited at 4, or just won't work unless they set a higher number of spots.

The medics most likely will only try to heal you, and not any peds if you use the phone to call. FR must use the same method the game spawns them for downed peds by itself.

Does that mean if the vehicle is livery enabled, it can go up to 10 just by adding new files named correctly, or does the model have to be set for 10 specifically?
