  1. I don't see porn and gore derailing every thread, so no.
  2. Ekalb, is a standard Vector Vapid somewhere in the pipe. Caine's works well enough, but it doesn't have indicators mapped to the adviser on the light bar like your Buffalo has now. Also it could benefit from your brake light change, too. If we can eventually get a Merit sorted out, and maybe a Vector Stinger, my fleet would be complete.
  3. Yeah, if it's not a pursuit, despawn is terrible.
  4. Ah, I didn't realize they added new ones for EFLC.
  5. I'm not sure about Spark, as I use OpenIV. I'd assume it's similar, so you need to open the "componentpeds.img" archive, scroll down to m_m_fbi and double click.
  6. He was thinking of making it so you could have different types of peds in one vehicle, along with spawn prevention and livery choice. The biggest issue was the stupid driving of response vehicles; it wasn't worth it so I don't use that feature any more. Not sure if he had any idea about what to do about that, though.
  7. I think yours is a passable substitute (if not better ).
  8. Here's my settings, as promised. I have POLICE3, 4, and B installed, with B being a State Police using Ekalb's Buffalo Interceptor. 3 and 4 are pretty much the same as EFLC (Buffalo and Stinger). My POLPATRIOT is an unmarked Cavalcade from the files section, so it's multi-agency with my setup. I set NOOSE to also have LCPD in it since they dispatch that way in the normal game, though I wish I could keep them all NOOSE officers.
  9. The only way to do it is to use You can set vehicles to randomly spawn with whichever ped you prefer. I can post my INI settings later if you'd like.
  10. I've used the Breathalyzer Mod without problems during a traffic stop, but I understand that scripts can be picky.
  11. That's the only FBI ped I know of. All the variations are contained within those files, and controlled by pedvariations.dat in the common\data folder.
  12. Great work! Roadblocks are great, especially the enjoyment of choosing their path correctly or the disappointment when they turn the wrong way like they knew it was coming. One thing though. Would it be possible to check IDs of drivers? I had hoped it could bypass the problem of the database not working on additional slots, but doesn't work if they are in a vehicle.
  13. Aw man, if we could get versions of each with the chance of every lightbar setup you've done for them, that would be beyond spectacular, though I don't know how feasible that is.. I've always noticed that when the brakelights are on, nothing actually flashes for a blinker, so if that fixes it, it'd be great.
  14. I'm not sure how simple it would be on the scripting side, but an idea for the sample INI. [EnableDatabase] model = police3 model = police4 model = policeb
  15. A quick request. Could you do one for both of Caine's default models? It'd be great to have a matching set.
  16. Ah, I thought he was tweaking them to be more accurate to NYPD markings along with his Buffalo skins, my mistake. Hey, we've got four slots so the more the merrier.
  17. Awesome! Based on New Jersey State Police? Did you have new LCPD skins for the Cruiser and Patrol also? You showed some off next to the Buffalo.
  18. Maybe it's that simple. If you don't use EFLC, those slots don't work with the computer at all. It's odd since GTA4 still recognizes them as police vehicles.
  19. I use Ekalb's Buffalos and have used assorted other vehicles with computers in them, so it has to be something else. Seems that it's hardcoded since those police slots were never intended to be used outside of multiplayer.
  20. Er, actually... they don't seem to be in there.
  21. The NOOSE pack was great, thanks for the work! Now that the Vector Buffalo is out, it'd be great to get your new LCPD liveries.
  22. So you've never had him say anything? I know that sometimes there isn't a speech, so it doesn't happen every time. Is Niko silent in other situations too?
  23. Just a thought on an old thing, you could always turn the slicktop file here into a pack and include both in an update. That way anyone who missed that post could snag it. First sounds great, and it'd be awesome to see a full set of other vehicles with that feature. I'd like a good polpatriot replacement, so the Landstalker sounds nice. Hopefully it will have livery support so we can make it marked if we want.
