  1. Great job, Abraxas! Thanks for making guys in vehicles available for pullover, since that was the annoying thing about vehicle calls in Policing. When it comes to events, if they don't happen in front of me, or nearby enough to hear, I just ignore them until I think I'd be aware. One thing, though. Just for RP sake, I'd like to be able to call for EMS even if the person is already dead, and assuming they will make a futile attempt to revive, call METT when they're done. Right now it just gives me the message to call METT.
  2. If you can, that would be nice. I don't actually use different numbered liveries (and plates), but I do use a different plate for Alderney cops if I can.
  3. "LCPD ANNIS PINNACLE - UPDATED MODEL"? Is this one different from the one in the download section, or is it just a livery for that one?
  4. It's a good choice, since even 10 years later, fan content is still being made, even ones that add whole new options to the game.
  5. The one thing that kind of slips by is that when you have multiple people cuffed, you have to aim at them when pressing the F-key.
  6. Yes, so reign in the pessimism. Grady has shown off a lot more than was shown of ESS, so it's a much more plausible idea.
  7. They should work together just fine, and I think they are supposed to, but there isn't a way to change the keys for either of them.
  8. Hmm, I've never had any issues with it. I didn't use any of the SweetFX addons, just the basic file replacements in common and PC, plus the tree LODs.
  9. VisualIV wasn't bad, but I use "Amazing GTA". It is designed to help lower performing systems while tweaking the look of the game to something different that vanilla. That would be Clean City Mod, found here.
  10. I think that screws up the carrying of two-handed weapons with normal "swat".
  11. I know there was one model that had a shoulder radio and a few extra objects on it, but I'm not sure if it even was finished.
  12. Death threats for silly arguments on an internet forum... let's have a round of applause for the digital age, folks.
  13. I'm withholding judgment for now. If this turns out to be a farce, no big deal to me, though I can understand that people who actually put time into it would be pissed. If it turns out as advertised, even better, but some folks will have egg on the face, as it were.
  14. I did two on-foot tests during a disturbance call and an MVA (pass and fail), and neither crashed. I use US format.
  15. Would it be possible to add INI values for the frequency of calls, and for the chance of each type of call? Edit: We used to be able to just stand next to a person in a car to order them out, now we can only order them out at gunpoint. I'd like to be a little less forceful at MVAs and traffic stops, could we get that feature back?
  16. I used to use TrafficLoad, but I kept having random CTDs. I switched to TrafficFlow, and my game has pretty stable since then, though I do miss the full range of cars being able to spawn.
  17. Out of the building? Not possible, since the ped paths down the stairs are broken. That's the issue.
  18. Do you use EFLC? I use base GTA4, so maybe R* fixed it in the DLC.
  19. One of the Domestic callouts in Leftwood takes place in a multi-floor apartment like most others, but that particular one cannot be used correctly by peds. The attacker and victim run around in circles in the stairwell, and any transport officers that you call cannot get to the suspect, nor can you take the suspect out. Sure you could just shoot the guy or leave him there, but it just seems silly. The location is around Bridger St. or Manzano Rd, I believe.
  20. Sounds even better! Though with the burning vehicle, I was thinking only about vehicles that haven't actually exploded yet. I know the FR called trucks don't pay attention to them, so I was wondering if you managed to get them to work.
  21. Very nice! And integrated EMS/Fire function? Awesome! Would it be possible to have an option to make EMS leave dead bodies so that calling METT is still needed? And I remember you mentioning the difficulties of getting FD to recognize fires. Will they finally be able to find burning but not exploded vehicles that aren't spawned by a script?
  22. I've never had issues with spawning FBI, but when I had a motorcycle in the policeb spot, it wouldn't spawn either. I've used it for cars since then with no problem. Maybe post the settings you have for FBI.
  23. Hmm, though ELS-vehicles might soon be more attractive thanks to a few scripts, a vector version of the Admiral would be awesome. I don't know why I like that lightbar so much, but I do.
  24. I think if you remove "M_M_Fatcop_01" from "POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS" in pedgrp.dat, they won't spawn anymore. I'm not sure how simply switching the models out with thin cops affects things, though.
