  1. Doesn't always happen, most of the time it doesn't in fact, and I haven't used the keys since PH integration. I was going to give it them a try for a while again to see if it happens that way. And yes, pretty sure the Tow script has been loading, no issues with that part. Bummer, oh well, not a big loss.
  2. Hey Abraxas, I've been getting CTDs when using PH to call for a tow truck. I wasn't sure whether to post here or there (though the Tow thread is idle at this point). No script crash, so I don't know what info I can give. Now for a PH question/suggestion. Would it be possible to let us add new vehicles to the "Request Police Car" option? It wouldn't matter in EFLC, but I'm running plain GTA4 with police3, 4, and b added. Granted, I don't use them at the moment since LCPDFR doesn't recognize them with the database, but it would be nice if in the future they add something to fix that. Granted, I might have EFLC by that point anyways.

  5. It's not a DDS file in the archive, it's a PNG; you replace radarringback.dds with it, as in click "Replace" up above. Also, this one really good, I prefer it.

  7. Man, it's hard to play FR as-is when I know this is coming. Can't wait to correctly move those bodies. Since the Medic function is so hit-and-miss, I'll be using this for any downed person!
  8. Ah, that makes sense with all the other "ext_" flags; the strength of the vehicle is most likely contained in handling.dat, then. That means "ext_strong" would be useful to add to the taxis, as the advertisements and signs come of pretty damn easily.
  9. I'm assuming "ext_strong" means it's resistant to damage, but I'm not sure. I use it on all my police and emergency vehicles to be safe.
  10. Is there any way to track down what could have caused a CTD when a script error isn't reported? AdvancedHook.txt and ScriptHook.txt show errors and exceptions.   11. Pretty much like the title says, I'd like add armor to all Cops and FIB, just like NOoSE team members. Also, does anyone know if there's a mod or tweak that uses hit locations?
  12. Yeah, OpenIV works fine for me except with sound mods. SparkIV works just fine for importing ivauds, though. There's also another program used to edit sounds, but I can't think of it off the top of my head.
  13. Yeah, I found that blue text works quite well.
  14. Is it a straight model replace, or did you modify the handling.dat and vehicle.ide files? I also had crashes when I replaced my PolPatriot with a Landstalker. I had copied the entire Landstalker handling line over, but it didn't like the flags at the end of the handling line. I just copied everything but the last five values and left those default PolPatriot and I don't have the issue anymore.
  15. Technically, but the adviser is non-functional, Plus you've planned on making some little tweaks to the Vapid's tail/brake/signal lights that I liked the sound of. The Vapid is low priority, though, since it really doesn't have any deal breakers. Also, if I can be a pest, I'd like to see a full slicktop Buffalo with a full array of lights. I'm thinking the basic FIB setup, plus two in the front window, and one on each mirror, or something like that.
  16. Looking forward to what ever you have incoming, but I do have a few questions. Are you planning on working on any of the following? Vapid and Merit w/ LCPD Vector - Caine's lack some features, the Merit has that odd black line around it, and they just aren't up to par with your work now. I know his Merit isn't unlocked, but maybe you can work with Harper's Unmarked Merit? Stinger - I could really use a livery-enabled version of the Stinger, no matter which light setup you choose, though the Vector would be most appreciated. Landstalker w/ LCPD Vector - You can tell I really like the Vector setup. I believe you said you were thinking of this one, but I'm not certain.
  17. While police3, 4, and b are the only ones that the game will recognize as additional police vehicles, I had no troubling adding a half dozen new car models to the game with only GTA4. The More Vehicles mod does just that, though it uses entirely new files instead of adding to the existing ones.
  18. Ah, shoot. I spaced that, didn't I? Go ahead and PM me again with the files, and I'll get some shots done.
  19. I'm not sure about completely removing it, but when I replaced it with M_Y_TrafficCop, they were the only ones that spawned in Alderney. Adding M_Y_Cop where M_Y_Strooper used to be would probably be the safest.
  20. In pedgrp.dat, under "# POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS", you should be able to remove M_Y_STROOPER to get rid of them.

  23. I use Traffic Load. It follows the same idea as Traffic Flow, but uses the entire list of civvie cars instead of a set 20, and always spawns all Taxis and the Bus. It can be set up with custom densities (not really sure of the details, though) and custom car models to add.
  24. I believe DayZ has a direct connection to the ARMA studio, and has been getting official support for a while. I don't really think it's viable for LCPD:FR.
