  5. Ah, I was having that issues also. I just installed a new version of a visual tweak and deleted my saves. I'll check around and hopefully it'll be fixed.
  6. I think that usually comes from the vehicles.ide file, or cargrp.dat. Though, if you're using non-default slots that could do it too.
  7. Wow! I'd take this as a replacement for the LCPDFR and even the PoliceHelper database. Much more in-depth, and giving the sense of continuity. Even without MP, other players providing updates to it gives the feeling of other officers doing work in the city.
  8. Just downloaded the latest installer and no viruses detected with MS Security Essentials, MalwareBytes, or Norton Security Suite. It could be something the installer downloads during the process, but I never had anything pop up during initial and update installs, nor afterwards.
  9. Traffic Load seemed to cause random crashes which Traffic Flow seems to avoid for the most part, so it works well enough for me. Going to try out the dual method and see if it works for more cars.

  11. Having issues with the multiple armed individuals call. Most of the guys stand still (sometimes one of them will start shooting) and aren't hostile at all until I attempt to interact with them.
  12. Another lighting system, and some awesome changes to to LCPDFR? This would be a terrible thing to joke about, and very exciting real news.
  13. Buffalo flag livery for the Vapid? Nice!
  14. Thanks again for making that mod, cp. Any plans on revisiting it, or is it pretty much final? I know there was some problems with some spawn setups I had.
  15. I usually get a script crash when calling backup in a helicopter, though using PH's roadblocks works.
  16. No need to get worked up. I also see what you're looking at, but I doubt it's the spotlight. Just seems like effects from the minigun.
  17. I think unless they are included by default in the version of GTA4 you have, LCPDFR doesn't recognize them. So police3, 4, and B might work if you have EFLC, they don't work when added to base GTA4.
  18. I kind of like that better. It could be done just by changing the explosion properties, but that wouldn't allow the cabby that slammed into the building to explode spectacularly.
  19. Will that help with peds spawning inside buildings? It happens a lot with the large group of shooters.
  20. Yeah, OIV seems to have more steps to do with audio, but Spark is pretty cut and dry.
  21. You can always use the voice menu to change it, but that sounds faster. Thanks for the tip.
  22. Ah, sounds great. Though calling FDLC for fiery vehicles sadly is not conductive to success, unless it happens to be Police Helper's car arson.
  23. Ideally, I'd like to keep vehicles explosions, but lengthen the time it takes for a car to explode, and having the engine more likely to simply die instead of catching fire. Also , if the engine isn't running, it would not catch fire or smoke at all and would not start, but I'm not sure if that can be done. I'm not sure what settings in explosionFx would do it, but also reducing the force of the explosion and just make it more likely to just throw fire around and catch peds on fire, but not do much to vehicles or throw people around.
  24. It get's a little hairy when two peds are in a fist fight and the cops decide they're a lethal threat, though it may just be ones armed with knives.
  25. My method for doing it. You can also use Xpadder (not free though, but a snazzy UI makes it a breeze), and there's probably some other programs out there I can't think of off the top of my head.
